I have been wearing Hoka Bondi for many years. It's all I wear because have a few issues my feet and Hoka Bondi, all generations except 8, have helped me tremendously. I have sent tons of customers your way. You should probably celebrate me!! LOL. Please don't make changes again!!

I really want to love them, but I feel like the toe area is more narrow, which causes me to have my pad of my foot. Go numb after long wire..
I swear by Bondi. Will never choose another shoe ever. I am a diehard.!
I absolutely love the Bondi 8!!! Please bring them back in stock
Super sad and disappointed with the Bondi 9

This show is not nearly as comfortable as the Bondi 8. I am so disappointed but have tried to wear it around a bit to no avail. I am going to try and exchange for a Bondi 8.

Great shoes and wonderful plush cushion. A step up from bondi 8 just in the sense of the stack height, etc. I love the Bondi 8 but really love the feel and quality of the 9's. Happy shoeing

Initially I thought the Bondi 9 was perfection. I had a new pair of Bondi 7’s on when they arrived and it was like a “new and improved” version. Everything I loved about the Bondi 7 only even more cushioning and less of the large foot print of the Bondi 8. Two weeks into wearing them, I would wake up with my lower back and hips killing me. I do daily yoga and strength training so this made little sense. I went on to Hoka’s website and noticed others talk about how they make you walk on the outer edge of the shoe. I don’t know why the would change this shoe to the degree that it effects your gait, but it did mine and that was a huge disappointment. I had to send them back of course. I’ve worn every version of Bondi. Again, a horrible, unnecessary change.

I have neuropathy and arthritis in my feet. I have tried so many shoes for 3 years. Nothing has helped. Leaving me in tears and pain. I googled and read a lot. Hoka Bondi was listed in the top 8 she's for my issues. Bought a pair last week. Felt so good when I tried them on. They feel so good. I do still have some pain as the day goes by. But still much better. So glad I tried them. No more tears for now. BTW my foot doctor recommended Altra. The zero drop felt good but the shoe is not tall enough inside. Bondi only have a 5 drop which is sooo much better than Brooks high drop for MY feet.

I've been buying HOKA shoes for over ten years due to plantar fasciitis and heel spurs- I've had no problem for years. The best stretch mesh was on the Bondi 7 wide, which felt wide enough from the first try on. It seems, like other manufacturers, that they're trying to slightly reduce materials and sell as the same product, but my feet know the difference! Calling it extra wide doesn't make it so. I like the extra cushion on the Bondi 9 but the extra wide doesn't seem any wider, and I really miss the heel loop! I'm disappointed.

For a very long time I have had foot issues. Surgery 4 times barely helped. I tried other Hoka's and none seemed to work. The Bondi 9s are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. LOVE them.

Use to only run on trails, but recently have been breaking into the road game. Initially I was using the Machs for all my runs (intensity and easy/recovery) and I still love them for anything in the tempo+ range. But these shoes have made it so I can do some of my easy runs on the harder surfaces as well without risking too much impact. I also love walking in them and just wearing them day to day. First shoe i've found that is great for my easy runs and afternoon strolls. They are light and dont feel too clunky when running (which is something I was afraid of with this type of model). Overall amazing!! Thank you HOKA

I LOVE the Bondi 8 and am so sad they are not making it anymore. I feel the Bondi 9 is a totally different shoe; the toe box is not as wide and the shoe somehow feels 'shorter' in length, even though I have the same size I normally wear. I also don't care for the Bondi 9 color options but might have overlooked that had the shoe fit. I have no idea why they are discontinuing the Bondi 8, as it was the perfect shoe. This shoe (Bondi 9) has more cushioning than the Gaviota (which I am considering since the Gaviota toe box is wide with lots of space) but the rest of the Bondi 9 is not a fit for me. Also when you put your foot into the shoe, it doesn't slide in the same; something about the fabric or texture of the Bondi insole is different (for me). Good luck shopping! Here's to our health, fitness, and happiness!

I loved my Bondis 8. I literally used them till the bottom of the shoe was flat! I wear size 6.5 wide- I have a bunion. Well, Bondi 9 in a wide is very narrow and not good if you have a bunion or wide foot. Very disappointing! So, now I am trying two different styles from Hoka and hopefully they workout

i love this shoe. i've gone through a few pairs in black but the color faded to navy blue pretty quickly, within a month or so. this is disappointing because i'd like to have the shoe color that i paid for. :) i'm ready for a new pair and i'm not sure what i'm going to do. but great shoe, the best in comfort. yet the color is important to me.

I feel like I'm working too hard to walk in this shoes, they are light weight, but I'm using more energy or extra energy to walk in them. I would have returned it but I've used it for more than 12 hours at work and I do not have another shoes in my car, I would have changed it and returned it.

I've bought several pairs of Bondi 8s and loved them! The Bondi 9s are not as comfortable, they hurt the side of my feet and the back of the heel comes up way too high. I am returning.

I normally wear a wide in the Bondis, so ordered my usual size(I have multiple pairs of the 7 & 8) and they were too narrow. I exchanged them for the same size in extra wide and they fit exactly as the former versions did in wide. Extra wide was never an option before, so I'm assuming the wide is now just the old medium width. Wasn't an issue, except that I wanted to enjoy my new sneakers a few days sooner. Haha These did not disappoint me in any way. I was worried about a couple of the changes I had read about, but I have had no issues whatsoever. I feel like they combined the cushioning from the 7 and the stability from the 8 and it works perfectly together. I am on my feet for 12 hours a day and I don't have any foot pain at the end of the day. That says a lot , considering I have a history of plantars fasciitis, and I say history because ever since I started wearing the Bondis I haven't had any flare-ups. Not saying they're a cure, but I have never in my life had a sneaker that I could wear for hours and actually feel better. I hope they make more colors available in the extra wide, cause I am definitely itching to get my feet into some more new sneakers.

I have been running and doing my gym workouts in Bondi 8's. I thought they were great, until I received a pair of custom orthotics. They did not fit well in the heel of my 8's and there was no way I could do anything in them with the orthotics in as my heel kept slipping out. I was a little hesitant to order the 9's. So happy I did! as the 9's are so much better! The sole on the forefront is not as wide/bulky looking, and the fact that the heel is taller (thus making the heel area inside the shoe much deeper)i s a plus for me, just wish there was a pull strap on the heel on these. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase!

I stand a lot on the job and these shoes provide the right amount of comfort and support. They cradle your foot; feels like you're walking on a cloud. I highly recommend this shoe.

These workout shoes are the best thing I've ever put on my feet! I teach aerobics, and attend other fitness classes 5 days a week. The extra toe room, arch support, and super supportive sole is a game changer. I'll NEVER buy anything else for workouts, dance, or walk/running.
