I have worn the shoe for a while and do not like the Bondi 9. I always insert my own orthotic but I believe it is providing too much arch support. My feet are so sore after wearing them that I can’t wear them anymore. Thankfully I stocked up on the Bondi 8 and have gone back to wearing them. My feet don’t hurt at all. I also ordered the Stinson but they are not wide enough but are more comfortable than the Bondi 9. Not sure what to do.

I did not like the fit of the Bondi 9. I prefer the way the Bondi 8 feels so I am returning my 9.

I've owned Bondi 7 and 8 with no issues. Bondi 9 is a different story. Aesthetically they look better than Bondi 8. Bondi 8 look very wide. With that said, the Bondi 9 width is noticeably narrower (and I have narrow feet) to a point that the top of my foot started cramping and then ended up swelling. It took a few days for the pain to go away. The heel area is wide so my heels kept slipping out every time I took a step. I ordered 2 pairs but sent both back. I ordered another pair of Bondi 8 but I'm thinking of trying other models from HOKA since Bondi sneakers in general didn't provide much arch support for me.

Another great pair of Hokas! These shoes for me were an upgrade from the Bondi 8s and I have to say that I really like these. They look a little less clunky but still have that great Hoka feeling. I got the silver/gray ones and they are a nice neutral color, but not so white that they will get filthy too fast. Overall these are great shoes and I have no complaints. Feel great to walk in, support my foot nicely, and work well with my custom orthotics.

I have worn Hoka Bondi's forever and I love them for their comfort and cushy innersole. I have had a lot of foot problems over the years. My current pair however, arrived from Zappos and they were were not the WIDE I have gotten in the past, they were more like a medium. I exchanged them for the X wide and they are fine. My only complaint with the Hokas (and many others would agree) is they just don't last as long as they should. For the amount of money they cost they should last longer than 6 months and that is all I can get from a pair!

I loved the first pair of Hokas I bought for exercise, but over time I was developing corns on my pinky toes. Ordering this pair in a wider width was the perfect solution. Now, I have the wonderful support of Hoka, but without the pinching of my toes. Now, I know --- buy Hoka in wider widths.

Very happy... I have several issues with my feet, these Hokas seem to address all of them, arthritis, neuromas, over pronation, and flat feet. At a recent podiatry visit I was told I am lacking fat pads in my feet (that must be the only place, lol) and I needed the extra cushion these would provide. I was hesitant at the cost, but they do work and are worth every penny. Seem to be helping with hip and back pain too. I wear an 8 Reg. in Reeboks, an 8.5 D in Saucony, an 8 wide in boots and went with size 8.5 wide in these. I hope that info helps you decide on your size. That said, Zappos is great with returns. I am 71 yrs old.
I'd also recommend:
Birkenstock, Merrell, Vionic

Had to go a half size down and wide from what I normally wear. But these shoes are extremely supportive and make you feel like you’re running on clouds!

I hike 5 miles everyday. I hike up and down sandy hills. These shoes are excellent as hiking shoes. Very comfortable. Note: I have big toe arthritis, and these shoes reduce pain. Yay!

Long Time Hoka Bondi fan, but I'm searching for alternatives as the outsoles barely last 2 months. I run 3-5 miles nearly everyday (i weigh 132lbs) so I had been replacing quarterly which is bad enough and i'm lucky I can budget for that, but these Bondi 9 models haven't made it 3 months. I last purchased about a week before Halloween and I really won't make it to Christmas. My outsoles are completely smooth (no traction on 11/28) That's crazy. Please improve this HOKA.

Feels true to Bondi fit—which IYKYK is the big fear—I love the laces that match the shoes—I got the blue color, but they are kids size so you can barely tie them. Wound up tying single itsty bitsy teensy weensy bow that came undone so tied them in a knot mid-walk then cut them when I got home. These shoes are too expensive for this game.

I loved my Bondis 8. I literally used them till the bottom of the shoe was flat! I wear size 6.5 wide- I have a bunion. Well, Bondi 9 in a wide is very narrow and not good if you have a bunion or wide foot. Very disappointing! So, now I am trying two different styles from Hoka and hopefully they workout

I'm a big fan of the Bondi 7 structure, bought two pairs of the Bondi 8's and was not impressed with the heel support and on top of that the colored rubber part of the soles stated coming off on both pairs. I was looking forward to the Bondi 9 but after only wearing it three times, the heel support is worst than the 8's and the left shoe makes a squeaky noise as I walk.

These shoes were pretty comfortable although they don't have enough arch support for me. I wasn't fond of the super thick soles & the fact that they squeak with every step.

The answer is NO! I have worn bondi for many years. Now I'm disappointed. The Bondi 9 runs small, short and narrow. I've ordered and returned several colors thinking perhaps different colors run differently. Not so. I can't find the right fit. I'm a consistent 7 1/2 W. The Bondi 8 is a perfect fit for me. I will be switching to NB more v 6. Thank you Zappos for the opportunity to try the shoes so many times.

They’re OK. The fit is OK, but it is definitely a different shoe from the Bondi 8. It was the cushion that set the Bondi 8 apart from other shoes, and the 9 just does not have it. They did away with it. And the colors aren’t as good. More mundane. It’s a shame.

The wide is narrower than my Hoka Bondi 8 regular. Not as plush as it used to be. The Clifton 10 seems to be the ultra plush Hoka now, with a lot more room in the toe box.

I was recommended this shoe for knee issues. I’m a true size 8 and the fit on this shoe was very snug. The 8.5 was too long. Then decided to try the 8.5 wide but found the tongue of this shoe to be too long and bothersome. Disappointed that these didn’t work for me.

I need extra wide shoes to accommodate AFOs, and I have been watching out for some that aren't white, grey, or black that most x-wide shoes are restricted to. These are a great purple color with orange pops. They seem to run a half size smaller than my other Hokas (Bondi 8), I originally ordered the same size as my Bondi 8's but then had to exchange for a half size bigger. The sole isn't as voluminous as the Bondi 8's either but still feel super stable.

So far so good comfort walking long ways mostly on sidewalks - paved trails. Misread color: wish overall been light gray but actually white with gray . I think too much about get more dirty looking. But that’s on me.

I think these run a half size smaller and the wide width isn’t as wide as my Hoka Clifton 9.

On a positive note, my 4'10" has reached new heights. I must be at least 5' tall again, having shrunk over the past 60 or more years. Thanks, Hoka. Not only are my new Hokas very attractive in the silvery hue, but they are comfy as well. Only problem is, they are too chic for me to wear often for fear of soiling them with every footstep. Besides this not as desirable aspect, I have an old-woman balance issue which is exaggerated by the rolling contour of the Clifton's soles.
