I have not actually ran in these yet, but the cushioning feels about the best of any shoes I have owned on my long walks, thus far. I would highly recommend these shoes and Altra running, in general.

Smooth ride in my half marathon. Not for breaking PRs, but definitely helped me survive long runs.

As a 200 Lb , neutral , 30 year recreational road runner; this is the most comfortable running shoe I've ever put on my foot. Upper , Outsole , Insole , Lacing , Midsole (PEBAX , please!)

I'm not a runner but I go for long walks. Very happy with these Altra flow. I have been struggling to find a pair that can help with my issues. The Flexible heel helps with my haglund's syndrome. 8mm offset from a previous brand caused tightness in both of my calves switched to zero drop than calves felt great but caused right hip pain. I do use arch support insoles for plantar fasciitis. The 4mm offset from the experience flow has solve my calves tightness and hip pain. I'm 42 years old, 5'9, 208 lbs. I wear 8.5 in wide toe kicks but I had to go up to 9.5 because these were too snug in the mid foot. It sucks that feet tend to change for different reasons as we age, but I will be buying two more pairs in case the next generation changes its profile. Hopefully my feet stay the same or improve. At the moment after wearing them for a few days my feet feel strong and healthy.

A fantastic shoe, love the flow and style. Super comfortable and can use as a running shoe and workout shoe.

Best overall fit. Love the toebox. Enough width and doesn't look stupid. Rolls great. I use as a daily 7.5 mile runner and they hold up. Quality workmanship better than Topo

I run about 20 to 40 miles a week and these shoes are great for all runs like them so much I got the experience wild for my trail runs

I immediately improved my running pace with these shoes. The provide great support and are very comfortable. Great color and style. Too many minimum characters make me type in gibberish. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

This is my third pair of Atra Foreward/Flow shoes and I think I've found my perfect shoe after looking for years. The Flow has a good combination of cushion and heel drop for my daily runs to Half marathons. Altra's large toe box offers more comfort, especially for those with feet in the regular to wide range.

Wore these for 100+ miles before running a full marathon in them. They are starting to wear down but i really enjoyed how great they felt out of the box. I might of gotten a half size too big but they still worked out. Wasn't sure if i wanted to use these for race day but they worked just fine and didn't cause any issues for my first full marathon. I would recommend these if you still want a heel to toe drop and cushioned shoe. Id buy these again no doubt.

I waited a month before leaving this review! These shoes have a better and more durable sole then the Torin luxe, they are really comfortable and the design makes me feel like I'm walking faster...

Love these sneakers. Not "too much shoe," nor "not enough shoe," just right for road training. Toe box room is ample. Got them in blue.

I bought them for bartending on Broadway in Nashville and my feet no longer hurt, ever. The non-slip NB's I was wearing made my feet hurt daily. We've got mats so no need for non-slips. I've got a leg length discrepancy and these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had lifted (3/4"), thanks to the rocker heel. I do wish there were other color combos I liked other than black on black (difficult w lifts, need black, brown or grey midsoles). Wish you still made LP's in khaki. I would have gone with the stability shoe, but I don't do white midsoles and can't believe so many people like them. However, these feel like stability shoes due to the rocker.

This was my first pair of Altras and they are amazing! I turned around and purchased 3 more pair. I wish I would have discovered these years ago because they truly are the best for my feet and most comfortable. I have had plantar fasciitis for years and now these have helped with that tremendously. The wide toe box come to find out is healthy for your foot and the natural way your toes are supposed to be.

First, pair of ultras. Used as daily road running. They replaced my saucony tempus. Thus far big fan of altras. Toe box is a game changer. Have a little roll when running that feels nice.

Training runs. Just the right cushion with a nice bit of responsiveness. Ran 740k in FWD Experience and jumped straight into Flow. Excellent shoes.

Great wide toe box, light shoes, comfortable fit. Great for daily trainers and affordable too. Would recommend to anyone.

I'll admit that I have always thought Altra shoes were not for me. Between the squared off toe box and the zero drop DNA; I just never gave them a chance. That all changed when they came out with the Experience collection and the move to a mid-drop ALTernative. I rushed to my local running store to try on a pair even though I didn't really even need new shoes. That 5 minute walk around the store was all it took. I am a convert - 100%. These shoes feel wonderful. No more hot spots. I can fit lightweight socks for speedwork and thicker cushion for long runs. I've started with the road shoes but you can probably guess what my next trail shoes will be!

Grippy, comfortable , stylish and fast.

After years of running to Torins and Riveras, the Experience Flow has become my new "go to" road running shoe. Excellent fit, comfort, and style!

I have a wide foot and because of the toe box design on these shoe I feel great wearing them.
