I've gone through 3 pairs of these, replacing them every 400 miles. May be able to go a touch longer with them, but I love them. Love that you all are offering more color options as well, and even offering the FWD Via in the 4mm drop. I would love to see a speed/tempo/racing version of this offered in variety of colors. Doesn't even have to have a plate. Just something one can feel fast in during workouts and on race day.

Looking for a daily trainer that feels smooth and natural? Look no further than the Altra Men's Experience Flow. This shoe combines a comfortable, roomy toe box with a low drop and a rockered sole for an effortless ride. The cushioned midsole absorbs impact on long runs, while the breathable upper keeps your feet cool. Whether you're cruising through easy miles or pushing the pace, the Experience Flow will help you get there in comfort.
I pounded the pavement for miles in these things, and my feet barely felt a thing. They're even surprisingly lightweight for a daily trainer.

This is one of the best shoe designs released recently as an overall shoe. High quality materials, fits your foot very well. Works great as a trainer or racer. I will be buying more!

I bought this shoe to race in but have since turned them into trainers because they feel so good. Lightweight upper with a firm midsole.

I decided to try this new model (New to me) after a decade or more of Running in Altra Torins. As a forefoot striker I appreciate the cushioning up front. The minimal, but not zero, heel lift sounded like a good change. I've only run in them a couple times including a 5k race today, but I really like them. They may be slightly tighter in the forefoot than my last Torin, but not uncomfortable and still they're brand new.

So far have used mainly for walking my cross training go to. Ran in them once and the jury is still out because there seemed to be a lot of volume in this shoe. It is definitely a good transition shoe for someone new to ultras or is switching back and forth to a greater shoe drop. Love em for walking good support and very comfortable .

These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned, but I cannot say I would ever buy them again. After just a month of non-strenuous use the sole is already starting to flake and peel around the toe box. They look at feel like 2 year old shoes after just a month. For the price, I'm fairly disappointed. It's really too bad, as the comfort level is beyond anything else I've worn.

I use these about 3 times a week mostly for road and paved trails (though occasionally on a treadmill when I can't get outside). Comfortable for me and would buy again. Held up as expected.

This is the shoe I've been looking for. Liked the concept of altra but in practice with high mileage marathon training (100mi weeks), the 0drops were a bit too aggressive. These are perfect, no notes

This is the second pair of the experience flow I have purchased and by far are my favorite daily trainer and even great for pushing distance. Love the wide toe box, one of my favorite shoes

These shoes have changed my life, this is the first pair of shoes that have actually fit my feet well. I've used other popular running shoes and always had problems, then got a shoe fit and walked out with these Altras and I'm never going back. First, don't worry about the low drop, I never had a low drop shoe before and I got used to it after just a few runs. They look good, stay pretty clean, have been durable, are very light, have the perfect sole foam density and most importantly have allowed me to run without pain and with my toes splayed normally. My foot health is definitely improving; I'm now upgrading other footwear that I'm realizing are way too narrow and that's why my feet hurt after long days. I'm a loyal Altra user now.

First time trying FWD but instantly hooked by the design, feel and right amount of cushion. Big toe never feels this happy after a long run. Surprisingly good at tempo and speed runs as well.

The shoe is great! My only criticism would be that the midsole is cut a little too narrow. Would like a wider midsole to fit around the foot. Overall love it

Been struggling with plantar fasciitis and bunions. Haven't been able to run. Finally got my feet back in order and these shoes have helped me start running again after a long break while rehabbing

I developed neuropathy after spinal fusion surgery last September, about a year ago. I must have sturdy comfortable shoes for PT and 2 mile walks with my dog every morning. These fit the bill!

As I stated in my last review, good shoe, I did enjoy it. Mine did rip and I was not able to locate my order number on the account or email. They looked it up and made it right. I was wrong.

Started a run club at work 3-4 mile runs needed a legit running shoe not just some trainers. I have wide feet and heard altra had legit wide toe boxes. I love them. They actually fit my feet and feel great from the beginning to the end of the run. I couldn't be happier.

I had never heard of Altra until my physical therapist told me "You need to start wearing shoes with a wider toebox" and so I went to a runners' store and was introduced to these wildly comfortable shoes. I went home with a black&white pair, but as I wore them I realized I never wanted anything else on my feet...so then I bought a black&orange pair. And then a sage green pair. And then this fark blue pair. And I've been eyeing this amazing lime green pair.
Because Altras are ALL I WEAR now. I wear them at home. At work. At formal occasions. I don't care! If Emma Thompson can do it, so can I!
All of which is to say that if you've been cramming your feet into too-narrow shoes, Altras are made for you. My feet are already SO MUCH BETTER.

I wear these shoes in triathlons. I love the fit and the toe box. The 4 mil drop gives just a little plusher feel than the Riveras that I used to run in. So far I have run in just one olympic triathlon but I really enjoy them. My Riveras are still holding up well and I still run in them from time to time. Hopefully, these will hold up just as well.

These are my street running shoes and ai use the Lone Pine for my trail running shoes. I love both. My toes have gone back to normal after years of being cramped. All this with a good snug heal

I put about 450 miles on first pair to include a marathon and a trail 50k before they started to flatten out. These were great for long distance training and racing. I am on my second pair now and will race them in 3 Ironman events this year. They are perfect for me and allow plenty of space for swelling.
