I'm on the hunt for a pair of shoes I can wear on a thru hike of the Appalachian Trail and I have tried many brands. I think these Hierro's might just be the ticket. Both of my feet feel good. I bought XX wide so there is plenty of toe room, even with 2 pairs of socks.

This is my fifth pair of Hierro trail running shoes. They are a great ride on trail or off. Vibram soles are the only way to go.

Not a fan of the last, which is too narrow in the middle of the foot. The shoe also causes excessive pronation.

Good hiking shoe for those looking for something lighter than a boot. Very comfortable. However - these definitely run small and narrow. Order a size and/or width up.

Initial impressions are very strong - I chose this from a group of 7 that seemed close to what I need. This one is comfortable for me, and I like that is cups my heels well enough to minimize repetitive rubbing. The grip and feel of the tread is excellent and feels safe and stable. It's not to heavy and not too light. I walk and do some light jogging every day and these should fare better than my previous product from Asics.

We purchased these shoes in as wide as they come for my husbands 4E feet. He cant stop raving about them. He says they are the first shoe in his 48 years that was comfortable out of the box. They even accommodate his orthotics. We will buy more to have on hand.

Very comfortable and actually quite stylish for a trail shoe. I've been running in these for a couple of months, and I feel secure in terms of how they fit, feel and operate. The toe box is sturdy and grip is great (which is expected for trail shoes). There is also a decent level of cushioning which has been nice. Overall, I'm in love with these.

The Shoes immediately feel lighter than the previous versions. They also provide more comfort with the higher stack height. I find the grip is better and the toe box and lateral sides don't ware out as fast as the previous versions
