Hello, The shoes were awesome except for being to narrow and too short, no way these shoes were double xx. I love New Balance and some every couple months. Very Sad

Similar to the other reviews, these shoes are tight- narrow and they run small. Go a size up and if they have them in wides, buy it if your feet aren’t super narrow. I like the look of the shoes but was hoping it would be more beige/khaki color or else I would have exchanged them for a larger size. They look a little too greyish green to me. Soles felt comfortable but I only wore them in the house and walked a few steps before realizing they’re too small and narrow.

I have a special needs foot - needing a slightly larger toe box to satisfy a bunion. These shoes, in wide - almost worked - but were just a bit too tight ... I maybe could have gotten away with using them ... but Ive gotten too many shoes in my life that dont seem to work out. If you have typical feet though - these would be nice trail shoes and I'd recommend them to friends.

The EE was perfect for this wide foot. Great for trails that aren’t too technical (didn’t try them on the harder ones due to creaky knees and age lol). Nice looking and comfortable for casual wear.

I've worn NB shoes as a runner for years: great shoe, great fit. Unfortunately, I recently tore my plantar fascia and, for the time being, am wearing a custom orthotic. While the orthotic footbed doesn't seem much different than the supplied footbed, these felt tight, particularly in the toe box. I've since then obtained the same shoe, E width, and it's perfect. Love the balance of firmness and stablility but with enough cushioning. Very typical, NB well-made and supportive shoe. Not running currently, but walking and light trail hiking. Should be perfect! Only advice is maybe size wider or a bit larger if you are going to use an orthotic.

Fit perfectly, great for walking trails!

To small for me. Noticeably tighter than last version. But I don't ever lower my rating based on whether it fits me. Substantially more burly outsole than last version. More of a slip on/sock feel. Toe guard is more prominent than last version, but might be based on size. If you want a looser fit that you control with laces and a more minimal outsole (not for mud or too loose dry) then go back to v8.

Arch support ok. Size too small and narrow.

Material great. Fit too small. Need a size up.
