Nice looking shoe, but stiff! The Trotter is an attractive shoe, however, after replacing it with a larger size, still found that I need a stocking to wear with it due to the stiffness.

Like the look with jeans and pants - Slightly more narrow then other shoes I have in this size and stiff. I know they loosen up after wearing them; I have had this shoe before. No real support inside but I like the way they look, just would not wear them for distance walking of any kind.

Tight on the instep. I have a high instep and the shoes are tight across the top. I know they will stretch but there is a definite break in period for me. They bruise the top of my foot after wearing them one long day.

Nice looking shoe - A little short in the length but the width felt fine. I will keep it though because 11.5 aren’t available. But it is a very nice looking shoe and pretty comfy.

This is a nice looking shoe – sleek design would be good with slacks. Just not as comfortable as I had expected. The extension of the toe box on top of the foot extends too far back and presses directly on the bone beneath. This could ease with wear but I'm not willing to take the chance that it won't. A little loose in the heel when compared to the toe.

Good pair of “loafers” - I tried these on after a long day on my feet - they were snug, but the leather will stretch.

Cute Shoes - I bought these because I needed a little dressier flat. They are adorable. The leather was a little stiff at first, but have started to loosen up. They do, however, rub at the heel a bit. Hoping that will loosen up too or maybe a heel insert to cushion it. Overall, I think this is a really nice shoe.

Perfect for Everyday wear - This is a nice casual flat shoe that is great to wear frequently with different types of outfits.

Liz is a really nice shoe. Having a narrow foot/heel, good fitting shoes are hard to find but Liz worked out just fine.

January 2008 - Love the look. Wish it also came in black. Very comfortable. Only complaint is that the left shoe is not cut straight. By that I mean that the front half of the shoe angles off to the left, while the rear half stays straight ahead giving it a slight boomerang look.

Cool, comfy summer casual walking shoe - These require a little breaking in, but not too much as they are woven leather and do have some give. They are a cool and comfortable shoe, and look good with pants or skirt for warmer temperatures. They do have a thin sole and not a great amount of arch support, but still can be worn for long periods without having aching feet. For the price, a nice shoe. I liked them well enough to purchase 2 more pairs after my first pair.

A slight problem - I have a number of Trotters. I like the style, the price is OK. Just one slight problem. The inside lining seam near the little toe comes undone. When putting the shoe on the little toe catches this loose material and at times 'rolls it up'. This can cause some discomfort by the end of the day. I have had to cur material away with an xacto knife for comfort when this happens.

Liz by Trotters - I ordered these to replace a similar pair that I had worn & worn for years. I am usually a 7M, but these felt tight when I tried them on. My others had stretched out, so I would expect these new ones to feel tight, but day one of warning has been painful. I am hoping they expand a little or they'll be going to Goodwill.

Shoe review - Shoes are OK but color not as expected. Thought they would be less gold and more bronze in color.

Wearing Liz & satisfied - This is a pretty comfortable shoe, although I probably wouldn't spend the day shopping in them. They are a very well made & I believe I will be wearing them for years to come.

Trotters Liz review - Everything is fine except they squish and make noise.

Cute shoe - This shoe is nice with casual clothes and the color is true to the pictures. However, it is much stiffer than I expected and not nearly as comfortable as the other Trotters that I have worn. Some professional shoe stretching may help with this as I suspect that the woven leather is the reason it is so stiff.

Very few shoes come in my size, 13 AAA or AA. This shoe fits well and looks nice.

Not bad - I have a skinny, long foot, and this is a skinny long shoe. So far, so good. It is absolutely skinny enough for my 12N feet! In fact, at first I thought I might have to return them because they were so snug...but they stretch. They have no arch support, which is fine for me but may not be for others. And they are almost orange rust color...so be warned. If you want a dark-brown shoe, this will NEVER be it. However, I am generally quite satisfied. I would buy it again. Kudos to Zappos for ease of ordering.

Good shoe for work - The shoe fits well. I would have prefered more of a cushion, but it is comfortable. I stand/walk a lot and my feet are tired at the end of the day. They broke in very easily though. I do like the Trotters Liz, and would order more.

Liz is ok - These are a good everyday shoe, comfortable to stand in, ran slightly wide for my narrow feet.

Minimum Breaking in time - I have a wide foot and I haven't had a pair of comfortable shoes in a long time. It fit the first time I put it on. The back is a little high on my foot and I had a few blisters on the back of my ankle at first but they are comfy now. Not a lot of padding in this shoe. I recieved them very, very fast. Good price, good service. I will be buying more.

Comfort and Looks too! These shoes look great on the foot and the leather is supple. The soles are flexible, have good traction, and the rubber-like soles absorb with their "cushy" feel absorb shock when walking. The only drawback is that at the toe of the shoe the sole has separated from the leather and I have had to re-glue them. This usually resolves that problem. I have an AAA or AAAA foot and Trotters have been one of my favorite lines for several years. I'm so greatful to Zappos for carrying so many choices for me. I haven't been able to find shoes in a shoe store to fit me for a long time, so Zappos gets 95% of my business. Saves time driving, gas, wear and tear on the car, parking, walking, my knees, and the frustration, after all of that, of not finding my sizes. On to of that, Zappos often beats retail prices and delivers free of charge to the door. Why would anyone want to get shoes anywhere else? Thanks Zappos!

I am usually a solid size 9 and these 9's are a little snug. They are getting more comfortable as I break them in. Zappos is great and I am very happy with my first experience with them!

If it weren't for the sole... This is a perfect shoe except for one thing. The sole wears out at an unusually quick rate. The sole is worn out at the front of the shoe before the rest has any time to look worn. I have ordered quite a few of this style as it fits great but the manufacturer could do right by the customer to increase the thickness of the sole.
