This is the most comfortable shoe. Put on upon arrival and wore it the entire day, wonderful and normally I need good support. It's average, but obviously enough! Get many!

I have a slightly wider than normal foot, wides are generally too wide and regular are slight to narrow. So I am usually a 9.5 or I can get a away with a 9W. I ordered the silver in 9.5 and 9W, however the wides were way too wide, a little loose. the 9.5 fit perfectly. I was very surprised. They fit like a glove, didn't need any breaking in time, and even have a decent amount of arch support. Plus they go with nearly everything. I had been looking for comfortable loafers I could work all day in that still look professional (I do a lot of walking for my job) these are them! Even though they are a bit of an older brand, they look fabulous you would never know (I'm 24). Order them they are worth the money! Grandmas know what's up!

I absolutely love these shoes! I have narrow feet and these fit so well. I am very happy. I wore them the first day and little to no new shoe soreness! Great product, great buy! If you buy these, hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

I love these shoes. They fit great and look very nice. Being a substitute teacher, I spend a lot of time on my feet, so I wish there was a little more cushion to them, but my feet don't ache at the end of the day like with other shoes, so they're still fine.

I absolutely adore this loafer! My all-time favorite casual shoe. I have it in black and that rich luggage tan. Comfy and always stylish. Searching and waiting for the illusive magenta color to come down in price.

Fit is fine, and woven finish makes shoe more comfortable than most. I've loved other similar Trotters before.

When I first got them they were too tight, too narrow and uncomfortable. I was going to return them but I had put out a couple cigarettes with them so I thought, oh well. I'll consider it a loss. I had the bright idea one day to stuff my shoes the way they originally came in the box, with the nude colored paper. I put extra paper in these shoes since they were so uncomfortable. Kept them in my extremely hot South Texas closet for a couple weeks in the summer, thinking I would never wear them again. I forgot all about them and was going through my closet and thought I would give them another try. Voila! They fit perfect :) So comfortable! They really just need to be broken in. Also when I first got them they were oddly shiny, I didn't like that look. With a couple weeks of normal wear (I've been wearing them EVERY day bc they go with everything) the shine came off and now I can condition them with leather conditioner to keep them looking pretty. I have pretty wide feet so if this worked for me I know it will for you. Make sure you condition the tip because it seemed like they would easily scuff there.

Wonderful shoe. It fit my wide foot with super high arch and large toe box like a glove. However I just can't seem to fall in love with the color. Hopefully the black will come back in stock.

Let me start by saying I wear a size 12 Wide, so my options are more limited than most. I have worn this shoe as my absolute go-to for at least 15 years. My office is business casual, and this shoe works great in that environment. It is the most comfortable, versatile shoe that I have ever owned. The shoe is durable, but I find myself wearing it so frequently that I have worn out several pairs over the years. I always reorder, and am pleased with the consistency, quality and value of this shoe.

These shoes are just what I was looking for! They fit and are very comfortable. They run true to size, I have wide feet and ordered the wide size - that fit perfectly!

First, I bought this shoe due to high ratings and some customers who said "highly recommended." I was looking for a closed toe work shoe that is comfortable for summer and could be worn with dresses skirts and pants. These are great. I usually wear either size 8 or 8 1/2. I went with the 8. They fit great. I am medium width and these are slightly narrow so if my foot was any wider or had a larger circumference they may not be comfortable for me in a Medium Width. Comfort right out of the box. I wore them first day and had to take a fast walk about 4 city blocks to get to and from another office at work and they were fine. I bought Bone and Pewter colors to act as good summer neutrals. Both are nice. The Pewter is a more flexible neutral color. Lastly, they are a little bit on the shiny side but not as much as a patent just not muted.
