Comfortable shoe - This shoe fit extremely well and did not take any time to break in; it fit and was comfortable right away.

Great look, great fit - I bought this shoe in a 9AAA - it fits like a glove around the heel without binding at the toe. I did a tremendous amount of city walking the first day of wear, with minimal break-in discomfort.

Perfect! I finally found a shoe that's the perfect fit! I ordered the black shoe in a 10 1/2 and love it! It's very comfortable. Please let me know when you receive the same size in every other color. I want them all! My feet are difficult to size so when I find a shoe that fits, I buy it!

Trotters Doris - This is a fabulous shoe. Comfortable immediately. I wore it right away all day. Very pretty. Dressy look with a low heel. And it came in 3A!!!

Very comfortable shoes!! I have these shoes in every color and fabric except white. I am a busy, on my feet all day professional and rely on comfortable shoes. These shoes look good with my business suits and can transform into a casual dressy look for after office social activities.

Great shoe for my needs - Finding an EW fit in a dress shoe is extremely difficult, but this one provides lots of comfort in toe box, supple leather and a nice, though matronly, look for suits and dresses. The only downside - extra wide toe means sloppy heel fit. Needs a heel snugger to keep shoe from slipping off. Always great service from Zappos!

Satisfied Customer - I would have made additional purchases, but you do not have size 10.5 in stock in many of the Trotter shoe designs that I have tried to order. I would prefer to buy from Zappos because I have had nothing but good experiences with my purchases.

Very good pair - I bought two pairs of this shoe, one for my daughter and one for me. Her pair was perfect fit, she wears 12ww and it is difficult to find any kind of shoes in regular brick and mortar store. My pair 10 ww felt bit narrow on the first wearing and in the back it was rubbing my heel, later initial discomforts vanished and they are very comfortable. They look good and make my wide feet look much slimmer and smaller than they are in reality. We both appreciate selection and ease of shopping with Zappos.

MOST COMFORTABLE - Great shoe. Have very flat feet. This dress shoe really made my day. Zappos has to be the best site around. Sooo easy to order and return. Have a lot of sizes, but wish had more 11N. Very hard to find. Thanks a million. You helped someone in need of a dress shoe very bad.

Very comfortable and stylish - I am hard to fit and do not believe a shoe needs to be "broken in". The size 11 was perfect, the low heel gives a clean professional pump look. I liked the first pair so much I ordered a second and probably will do so for every color available. It took me over a year to find a comfortable, stylish classic pump for work and I highly recommend them to anyone, especially if anything over 2 inches hurts you! I only wish they were also available without the seam.

Just in time - As usual, I waited until the last minute to decide what to wear to an event. My Trotters Doris shoes arrived in time to save the day. I liked their look right away but when I tried them on I thought they were going to be too small. After wearing them around the house for a very short time, I felt they would be better than trying to go to a larger size. I wore them the next day to an event that required a lot of standing around and they were extremely comfortable--I wholeheartedly recommend these shoes in every respect.

My Trotter Shoes - I have two pairs of Trotter's Doris shoes and I am completely satisfied with them. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. The size and the width are just perfect for me. I plan to get more of them in different colors because I am not able to wear high heels and these are very dressy for me in a low heel.

These are a great fit! I wore these shoes all day after owning them for a couple of weeks and they were extremely comfortable. I feel both the width and length are very true to size and unusually comfortable for brand new shoes. They are also practical for both dressy and casual wear. They are also classic, so will not go out of style.

First Time Customer - I couldn't believe it when I got home from work after placing my order the previous evening... there were my new shoes! They are beautiful, well-made with a good grip on the sole, and fit perfectly. The first day I wore them I started to get a blister, so I put on a band-aid to help. The next time I wore them there was no problem at all. I'd never purchased shoes over the internet before, I have a narrow long hard-to-fit foot, but I will definitely buy from Zappos again. Overall this experience exceeded my expectations. NOW I'm spoiled! Thanks Zappos!

Comfortable professional shoe - I purchased a pair of these shoes in June and just bought my second pair. I wear with slacks or skirts for work; they look professional. They're also comfortable, so I don't need to switch to tennis shoes when I walk to lunch or the post office. I wear the first pair frequently, so I bought a second pair so I can swap during the week.

Great looking shoes - I was pleasantly surprised to find how nice and comfortable the Trotters Doris shoes are since I have a very difficult time finding good fitting shoes. They were true to size and fit my feet very nicely. I love the look of them and have already ordered another one in a different color. The quality is excellent as well. Good job.

I already had these shoes in black kid and was delighted to find that you carried them in other colors. I have bad feet and almost no shoe fits me well, looks fashionable, and is comfortable. I broke my little toe on my left foot twice. Consequently, my left foot is a bit wider than my right. The inset on these shoes help to compensate for the size difference in my feet.

Shoes for my mother-in-law - My mother-in-law is 90 years old and found a pair of these shoes in a store in Utah. She loved them but could NOT find a black pair, only brown. I offered to find them at Zappos on-line. They arrived two days later. She couldn't believe it! She loves the shoes and she thinks I'M WONDERFUL! I think ZAPPOS is wonderful!

Worth every penny! After years of sedentary living, I'm about to be on my feet for long hours and need to look professional at the same time. These are the perfect shoe with the low heel and total comfort at every contact point. Only thing to improve: arch support (but I have high arches).

Terrible fit. The shoe seems to be a size too small and narrow. I ordered a wide and a half size larger than normal, but my toe hits the end of the shoe. I have another pair of Trotters that fit great. Now I'm not sure whether to buy another pair. This one is certainly going back though!!!

Good Shoe - I bought this shoe because I needed to go to a lower heel due to arthritis in my feet. I found the shoe very attractive and quite comfortable. I will buy it again.

Comment about a long, narrow shoe - I usually wear size 10 in a Trotter. The 10 in this shoe was tight through the toe box, so I exchanged for a 10.5 S. Toebox fits well, but I find the shoe otherwise not quite narrow enough. It plops up and down as I walk. (I have put in heel pads for the next wearing and am hoping it provides the needed snugness.) The shoe is very nice, and it is good for anyone who wants a polished look but does not want to set herself up for later problems with feet, legs, and hips. Trotter shoes are good. Zappos is simply an excellent shoe store, with exemplary service and friendly policies.

Trotters Doris is a nearly perfect all-purpose shoe. Doris isn't the most attractive shoe you can find, but it's one of the most comfortable and is available in a wide range of sizes. The little heel makes this style appropriate for work but it is fine with jeans and shorts. Doris hugs the foot without feeling tight. It's perfect for a narrow foot, but you may need a larger size because Trotters run half a size shorter than other brands. The leather is soft but holds its shape. It's wonderful to find such a nice casual shoe available in so many colors. My only problem has been finding all the colors I want in my size. Zappos service is wonderful and the range of sizes they carry will make it easy to find the correct size.
