Great shoes as long as water does not get through opening where your socks are. Wish opening had a tighter water proof seal for moments when your shoe will be submerged in water. Also, wish it was quick drying when you get submerged in water.

This shoe required a break-in of around a week. It seemed a little stiffer around the ankle at first. I had to wear a thicker sock to keep the top of the shoe from rubbing on my ankle. It's been about a week and I am able to wear thinner socks again and the rubbing is gone. The soul seems to be a little stiffer on these than other Keen shoes that I've purchased. I am trying this model out for durability so hopefully it will last a little longer than other Keens I have purchased in the past.

It's hard to tell if it will work; WAY too soon. Need rain, cold, etc. to really test it.

My only complaint regards the length of laces furnished. They do not stay tied unless double knotted. The laces are too short to double knot, so I had to replace them on day two.

Super comfortable

Received my Keen's last week, and tried them out at the Borderland Music Festival this weekend, alot of standing and walking. Very pleased with the comfort and feel. I've been a life long fan of Keen. . .

Looks like there's good improvement from the previous shoes I've tried. I think this is a significant improvement in the attachment of the sole. Very comfortable

Heavy, not as comfortable as my last pair.

I love the fit. My wife hates the look, thinks they are clown shoes with the extra wide black. Fit is more important!

I bought to start training for an Appalachian Trail Hike. I have worn them daily for a week. Very comfortable. In addition to daily use at work, I have put about 20 miles of walking on them. No issues. I love them as a daily shoe, and cant wait to try them on the trail.

These shoes are much better than the previous models! The only things I would change is the shoe strings are hard to keep tied and the heel seems to given in a lot more than previous models! Overall a great shoe and great traction!

I have other Keen shoes that I have in wide. These new design is great for wide feet. So far they are great.

I don't like wearing cloth sneakers. I have a pair of Keen boots that go over the ankles that I have had for many years. They are still going strong except that a few of the cloth eyelets have ripped.. so I thought a pair of these would be good for traveling and the Fall weather. Like others have noted, there was no break in period.. I wore them shopping and after waling on a cement floor for 90 minutes, my feet were aching. I put in gel inserts and the next time I went, I had no problems. We'll see how long the eyelets last on these. Since I don't expect treating them like my work boots, I bet they will last for a long time. I don't think I will be alive to see if they last as long as my L L Bean boots which I have had for more than 50 years, though.

I like the quality of construction and waterproof lining but will return these. While supportive in the heel and arch, the front of the shoe with its lack of cushioning is uncomfortable for me, even after I switched out the footbed to the more padded insole upgrades.

This is my third pair, I love them! They have: good fit, great support and I find them stylish.

Just broke a new pair in on a couple hikes around the Hoh Rainforest. Traction was great, and my toes stayed dry :D

First pair of Keens, I bought these for work where we do a lot of walking and running. When they arrived, I put them on to test for fit and the first thing I noticed is shoelaces are incredibly short. Seriously short. While trying to adjust the laces one of the aglets (plastic tip protector on the laces) came off. Not something I would expect straight out of the box. The second time I wore them for work and another aglet came off. Not a deal breaker but not great. Would expect a lot better. Tried emailing the warranty department but haven't heard back. The fit: I read the shoes run large and boy do they. I bought a half size smaller than my normal size and they fit like a glove! I have wide feet and these fit great, no pressure on my toes. the shoes feel little loose on my feet but I think that is the laces being too short to really get my feet locked in. After a week and a half I've put about 12 miles on these shoes with work and have to say I really do like these shoes. I will be doing a 50-mile hike next month and plan to put these through their paces. I'll update this review after. I would recommend these but with the Caveat to plan to put in your own laces.
