These are very comfortable! If you like max cushion, you'll love these. They're a bit heavy, but you'll get used to it. I've only run 5Ks with them so far, but I think these will be great for longer runs. I sized up 1/2 a size, and that worked out for me. They're very tall, and that is another thing to get used to!

I was really surprised by this shoe and absolutely LOVE it! I thought it would feel bulky but it gives a great response with good cushion. Great shoe for long easy runs and even some shorter higher tempo days. I have dealt with various injuries this training cycle and these shoes have helped me recover with appropriate rehab as well. I recommend these to my patients and friends.

I'm 6'1 210 lbs. I recently began training for 5ks (as a begennier runner) and I started getting hip and knee pain around the 3 mile mark. Being a bigger runner, I knew I needed a shoe that gave my body the support and cushion it needed. I got my Glycerin Max's and no longer experience pain while running. They are very comfortable and I don't feel as fatigued after 3.5 miles. I have neutral feet and don't experience ankle rolling or foot dragging, which I was nervous about with getting such elevated shoes. I just hope they come out with more color and design options! I'm super happy with my Max's

I love these glycerin max shoes! I have Achilles tendinitis and tight calves. Since wearing these for a couple months now followed with stretching and foam rolling I don't have pain in my feet. I have narrow feet and they fit perfectly.. like pillows for my feet but still receive the support to not roll my ankle. I've been able to run a 10k with these shoes. I definitely recommend them.

This is a beautiful shoe. Perfect for long runs and recovery but can also go fast and is more versatile than you'd think. The only thing I'd skip is probably HIIT runs or hill sprints in this. Finally a plush, running on clouds feeling, much more so than the glycerin. The only area of improvement is in the upper; it is a top notch upper that feels expensive, but it is just a little too thick and bulky for my taste, but very plush like the rest of the shoe. If they paired this with the upper of the Hyperion Max 2, it would be the best shoe ever designed. I'm a heel striker and this shoe suits me well. The shoe has a really great foam as well as a nice toe-off and rocker shape. I love it. Personally, I think this is the best Brooks shoe ever made and i own nearly every neutral model in the lineup. Buy!

When I took them out of the box, I almost returned them before even trying the shoes because I never tried such a thick sole. It looked like a platform shoe and I was concerned I'd roll an ankle on the trail when running with my crazy dog. When I tried them, they were SO stable and comfortable, I forgot I had them on and was about three miles into a trail run with my dog and a friend before I noticed. I was sold. They are the best (for me). No more back pain or knee pain and my stability going down steep inclines is much better than it was. I'm a convert.

I wanted a shoe that was super soft when running since I have terrible knees and these were definitely it. Feels like I'm walking/running on marshmallows. So far I've put in 14 miles in them and these will now be my daily trainers. They are a little heavier I felt, than most running shoes. I feel more energized and feel like I can run longer than usual since it's so soft to run in and my knees no longer hurt. I did have to go up half a size. I'm usually a 9, but when I ran 5 miles in them I started getting blisters on my pinky and on top of my toes, which I never do in my other Brooks. Brooks had excellent customer service. They were easy to exchange and I had no trouble getting a better fitting pair even though I had ran in them already. With the 9.5 there is little teeny tiny heel slippage but doing a runners loop on the laces fixed it. 10/10 would recommend for somebody looking for soft cushioned shoes to walk or run in. For those that like to feel the ground or do fast sprints, I would not recommend. Also, I went with the pink women's shoe even though I'm a male cause I liked the pinkish color than the ones they had to offer with males, maybe that had a little bit to do with having to go half a size.

These Shoes Are The Absolute Bomb!!!!! I have Numerous Foot Issues and work 12 Hour Shifts. I've tried Numerous Shoes in all the other brands. My feet would start screaming 3 hours into shift and be killing me by the time I got home. This particular Shoe (Glycerin Max by Brooks) is a Whole New Experience!!!! Feels like you are Literally Walking on a Cloud!!!! I can't believe the difference the right shoe can make!!!!! I will be buying another pair soon as I will be wearing these at work as well as on my time off!!!!

I absolutely love these shoes. I got them brand new the day before a Disney trip and wore them the entire 4 days rope drop to close and my feet never hurt. My feet were tired for sure, but not the throbbing hip, back, and foot pain I'm used to. These were a life saver for me. I only wish they had a pull tab on the back to help get them on. Legitimately no other suggestions.

I'm a 54 year old runner with lots of miles on my feet. These give me lots of cushion, while still acting like a glycerin stability-wise. I'll wear these in rotation with my regular glycerins.

Love the new Brooks Glycerin Max. I’ve been walking 15K steps per day after getting two energetic puppies that require separate walks. When wearing my old Brooks Glycerin GTS my feet were screaming but after upgrading to the Max I have had no foot pain since. Total game changer for long mileage.

I am Glycerin shoe lover for many years! So when I heard they were making a Max I was excited to get these. I have had 3 runs in them now and have to say that the first run I didn't care for them much at all. I expected more of a bounce back that I wasn't getting. However the max cushion is 100% there. I also thought they were heavier and somewhat in my way while running due to their size. After now completing 3 runs I have to say they have somewhat grown on me. I am not sure I will continue with the max for future purchases but I will continue with buying the OG Glycerin sneaks! Not so sure I am 100% happy with them yet.

This is my first time running in a more cushioned shoe (I run in the Glycerin 21 normally) and it has been great. Took some getting used to over a few runs but they're lightweight, make running feel easier, and I love the colorway.

These are the best shoes that I have purchased from Brooks. They are true to size (I usually wear a 8.5 and that is what I ordered) and the fit is roomy and comfortable. The shoe itself is not that heavy and they truly helped me to get through my marathon and keep my bounce throughout the 26.2 miles. I have been running for 10+ years, and it has been hard to find a shoe that truly fits and will break in nicely until I wore these. The glycerin makes the shoe bounce and adds extra leverage and support on my long runs. They are super comfortable and I like how roomy they are for the ball of the foot and I feel like my heels were very supported as well. Overall, these are my new favorite shoes for my long runs and they didn't give me blisters when I was breaking them in either (which is huge for me). These will now be my forever favorite.

Best sneaker ever! I shoot weddings and all day events, these shoes are a game changer for my hip and lower back pain!! I just did a Santa event for several hours, normally I'm a little hunched over by the end of it, but not this year thanks to these magical shoes. My dad made fun of me because according to him they look like "grandma orthopedic shoes", but he doesn't know a lick about fashion and I'll take that teasing over the usual back aches/pains after working long events. Buy these shoes now, they are a miracle!!! Worth every penny!!!

Absolutely LOVE these shoes. I PR'd by 6:30 in these for a 1:38 half marathon. 16 minutes faster than my last half as well. No pain, perfect cushioning. Trying the Hyperion elite for my next race and will decide what I wear for my first marathon based off of how that goes. I couldn't recommend this shoe enough. Before I ran in a Brooks glycerin & before that I was a loyal transcend girl.

These shoes are like running on clouds I'm recovering from a pelvic stress fracture, and these shoes are the first pair I've been able to run outside in with zero pain! The cushion extending through the front of the shoe has made all the difference for me. I recently completed a marathon in these shoes because I felt my injury was the safest in them. I would not typically choose these as a race shoe, as they are a little clunky, but feeling super fortunate to have had them! Can't forget that Des and Kara wear them tooso who wouldn't want a pair!

I love these. I was concerned that I would roll my ankle since they are so high, but the sole is very wide and stable. I ran my first marathon in them this weekend and had zero foot pain. They are definitely the best running shoe I've tried so far. I run about 60 miles a week.

The more I wear these shoes, the more I love them. I am a physical therapist assistant and have been treating hip and mid foot injuries for a year, except for the rest part of the equation I can finally run pain free again, because of these shoes.

I am really impressed by these! They are comfortable and smooth at everything from brisk walking ~14min/mi pace to pickups ~6min/mi pace. The cushioning is somehow protective and bouncy while also having a snappy response that makes the shoe run much lighter and faster than its look/weight suggests. I also wore these for a post-race recovery run on rolling paved hills, two days after a 50-miler and they were superb! No toenail pressure on my sore toes, no pressure on my healing big toe blisters and so smooth/bouncy that I had to consciously slow down. I've never had such a great run so soon after a long race. Sizing is accurate. Vertical toebox space isn't the best but the upper is forgiving enough that you don't feel cramped once running. I've a normal to narrow foot, often requiring the extra eyelets for heel lockdown but don't need that in these. Spend the time to dial in the midfoot lacing and give these a couple of outings at all paces and you'll be glad you did. A truly versatile shoe that makes faster runs feel effortless and slower runs feel FUN. Well worth the high price because they are great for so many paces and types of runs/walks.

The cushioning is Supreme. I had bought a fuel cell model before that had the same kind of cushioning but the soles had this wide gap that I found unstable and it must've trapped every rock I stepped on. These shoes don't have that gap thankfully so they offer the cushion and stability that is working for me. Because my bones and joints don't scream at me as badly with them, I am encouraged to head outside with improved enthusiasm and adherence to my commitment to movement daily.
