Absolutely the MOST AMAZING PAIR OF SHOES I've EVER OWNED!! and that's coming from someone who have luxury shoes such as LV, Dior, & Gucci. My mom is a loyal fan of Brooks and I've tried on and off but never found a pair I truly cared for from Brooks until the Glycerin Max was released to consumers. I also NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS FOR SHOES BEFORE. Right when I opened my door to retrieve the package, I was surprised on how very light the package was because it didn't feel like shoes were inside. I was in for a treat upon revealing the package and tried them on immediately. IT WAS HEAVEN!!! No shoes ever supported my ankle well enough while simultaneously provided a generous toe box area until I tried and walked with the Glycerin Max. I absolutely love the color and think it's attractive. Please release more colors ASAP and I plan to purchase at least 4 more pairs to alternate between because I'm leaving the other shoes to collect dust while wearing these 90% of the time! I have wide feet with bunions on both and I purchased the 8.5. They were so comfortable without any pain whatsoever on the right bunion. So if someone is wondering if these are suitable for someone with bunions and/or slightly wider feet, you can rest assured they will work for you! I walked in these the first day at the mall and restaurant and by the time I went home and removed them, my right ankle did not hurt at all!! Generally by the end of the day, my right ankle would ache extensively. Today was my second time wearing it around campus and I used the stairs often and it was complete comfort as well!! These are the Holy Grail for my FEET for sure!! Thank you Glycerin Max!!

Walking on clouds From the moment I slipped on the Women's Brooks Glycerin Max, I knew I was in for a treat. The plush, cushioned feel is like nothing I've ever experienced before. As I took my first steps outside, I felt an immediate differenceevery stride felt soft, supportive, and perfectly balanced. Even walking to my vehicle, I felt like I was gliding over the pavement.

As someone who has endured three foot surgeries, countless pairs of shoes, and the relentless torment of plantar fasciitis, I thought my days of comfortable walking were long gone. After going through three pairs of Hoka Bondi 8s, which did the jobsort ofI was still hobbling by the end of the day. Enter: the Brooks Glycerin Max. Now, I'm not going to name the store (shhh, I may have gotten these a bit early), but let me tell youwow. From the moment I slipped these bad boys on, something wild happened. I wanted to run. Yes, you read that right. I, the self-proclaimed non-runner, felt compelled to take off like I had been training my whole life. It's like these shoes were whispering, "Come on, give it a try!" And shockingly, I didn't hate the idea. The cushioning? Heavenly. It's as if Brooks secretly engineered these shoes to neutralize pain. I've tried all the wide-width Hokas, but these fit like a dream in my regular size. They're sleek, stylish, and dare I sayfashionable enough to make you feel cool while getting fit. So, while I wish this was a sponsored review, it's not. I bought these with my own hard-earned money, and let me tell youthey are worth every penny. If you have feet that scream by the end of the day, I would try the Brooks Glycerin Max.

The Brooks Women's Glycerin Max running shoe is a standout running shoe, blending performance with style in a way that makes it versatile enough for both running and casual wear. Right out of the box, these shoes impress with their plush cushioning and sleek design, making them a strong contender for anyone seeking comfort and aesthetics in their athletic gear. I enjoyed opening the box and trying them on for the first time. One of the most remarkable features of the Glycerin Max is its comfort. Brooks has created an exceptionally soft and responsive ride. This cushioning seems to adapt to the shape of my foot and provides comfort and support that feels luxurious during runs. The shoe's cushioning also absorbs shock efficiently, reducing the impact on joints and allows for a smoother stride, which is especially beneficial for longer distances or daily runs. In terms of design, the Glycerin Max does not disappoint. The shoe sports a modern, stylish look that makes it a great choice for wearing outside of workout sessions. Its sleek silhouette and fashionable color options make it easy to pair with street clothes, allowing it to seamlessly transition from a gym session to casual outings. Whether you're dressing for a casual day out or just running errands, these shoes offer a stylish flair without sacrificing the functional aspects of a high-performance running shoe. Fit is another area where the Glycerin Max excels. The shoe tends to fit true to size, which is a significant advantage for those who prefer a reliable and consistent fit. The upper material is breathable and stretches comfortably, accommodating a range of foot shapes without feeling too snug or too loose. This ensures that your runs are not only comfortable but also free from the distraction of ill-fitting footwear. Overall, the Brooks Women's Glycerin Max is an excellent choice for those who prioritize comfort, style, and fit in their running shoes. Its advanced cushioning provides a plush and supportive feel, while its fashionable design makes it suitable for both athletic and everyday wear. With its true-to-size fit and versatile appeal, the Glycerin Max stands out as a top contender in the market, meeting the needs of both dedicated runners and those seeking a stylish, all-day wear option.

So comfortable!! I typically wear ghost's, but decided to give these a try based on reviews. I wear neutral/ cushion so took the risk. Feels like you're walking on air without too much bulk. It's great to add another running option. I'm glad I took the risk.

I've worn various Brooks Ghost iterations since 2013. The Brooks last fits my feet well, but the Ghost just doesn't have the cushion my 65-year-old feet need. After some research, I decided to try the Glycerin Max. Bottom line: these feel like you're walking in a bounce house. Extremely boingy. My feet feel great, but they take a little getting used to. They also seem to run a bit narrower than the Ghost. (As someone else noted, this may be due to the uppers being stiffer.) On the plus side, I may be able to retire my running socks that have metatarsal cushioning.

Due to a foot injury I haven't been able to run for months until this shoe! I have run 3 times this week without any foot pain. My only complaint and why I took off a star is because I need it to come in wide. Then I think it might be the perfect shoe for me!

Great support and cushion. Has helped with my knee pain. I find this style to run more narrow than my past Glycerins, especially in the toe area. I have a narrow foot. Wish I had purchased 1/2 size larger.

The perfect standing shoe, the perfect short to medium distance walking shoe. Not the best long distance walking shoe especially in high humidity. They fit perfectly but both sides of my feet got painful blisters and I still have the "scarring" from them after almost two months from my trip to Singapore. The day I started to limp was when we walked Sentosa Island for almost 25k steps. It was max humidity and heat and for the rest of the trip I had to be careful but still managed the 20k+ a day. You can't stop this photographer from sightseeing. I can't imagine what this would be like for runners or long distance walkers. I use these shoes for standing support and getting my daily steps in but I would not trust them again to carry me through another active vacation especially in the heat. I do trust these on ice though! They have great grip at home for an athletic shoe. I'll give em that. And thankful they finally came out in black. I have lower back pain and need to stay active. But standing too long causes really bad pain. Sitting too long also doesand walking too long alsoso I stay active. And I like these shoes for standing mostly.

These are great, but I need something with more support Its a total bummer that these arent available in a GTS version, especially because the Glycerin GTS 22 is so awful this year.

LOOOOOVE these shoes. I typically wear Brooks Ghost 15s for my indoor and tred runs, but wanting to get outside and run to train for a 15k, I didn't have much support for my joints and had so much pain after just a couple miles. I do have a torn ACL and torn meniscus and wear a knee brace so I've been looking for a shoe that will help with absorption while running on pavement and THIS IS IT! Don't let the bulky shoe scare you. It doesn't weigh as heavy as it looks and it feels like you're running on a soft, cushioned matt. The angled toe also helps propel my feet and keeps me running further. Definitely noticed a difference after an outdoor run with little to no pain in my knees. The only negative I have about the shoe is I wish there was a little more ankle and arch support, but that's being extremely critical.

I so wanted to like these!!! When I first put them on, I felt like I was walking on a cloud. But then I wore them to work, where Im on my feet for 12+ hours as a nurse. I felt like I was tripping over my own feet bc of the sole height. And by the 8th hour of my shift, I had the worst heel pain. A few days later even after not wearing them, and Im still sore. Im thinking if I was moving (running) these would be awesome. But standing in an ICU just wasnt it.

I'm new to Brooks shoes. These looked so comfortable I just had to try them. I have feet that hurt all the time. I walk and run a lot (at least try to) These felt great. Very cushy. My toes don't feel squeezed. I love them. I bought the Black ones. I want the while but I'm not crazy about the pink sole. But these are great.

Overall: love these shoes. I'm a nightshift nurse and work 12 hours and I think these are absolutely fantastic. I do feel like as I've worn them in they've gotten a little bigger but it's nothing a thicker pair of socks couldn't fix.

Initially I wanted to take it easy and ran only 10K with the Max. The toe cavity felt roomy on one foot and cramped on my right. So I loosened the right lace a little for my 15.5 miles run the second time. The toe cavity remained tight and the right and the big toe continuously got jammed to the front. I ended up with a red throbbing big toe at the end of the run. It was such a disappointment because I loved my Glycerin GTS 21 for my long distance days and was looking forward to the cushy ride described by the Max. So I just went back to the 21 and ordered 2 pairs instead. For the price of one Max.
