Nice looking sneaker but narrow in the toe box. I'd recommend going either one size up or wider

I'd order again, just wish they lasted longer. Can only get three months out of them.

Good, comfortable shoe for general use. Bought a second pair so I have them at home and in the gym bag. Appreciate the fact that they are available in wide widths.

Great combination of cushioning and bounce. One of the best daily trainers, never disappoints.

These are my everyday, on my feet working, sometimes in the gym. Super lightweight, comfortable but not as cushy as other models. It also lacks breathability but it's still better than other options at the same price point.

Wave riders used to last 400-450 miles. I can get 300 out of one pair these days. Much improved from the 26/27

Knees don't allow me to run, but I put on quite a few miles each week. Many reviewers said the shoes run small. I agree. they do fit a little more snug than past Wave Riders, but for my feet, they're just fine.

I bought this shoe through the Mizuno USA website. I was excited to buy it but after wearing it for a little bit, I didn't feel right. Turns out that Japanese and American sizes might say the same sizes, but they're not. Something is a little different between the two countries. The American size 10 was smaller in length to the Japanese size 10. So, I contacted Mizuno USA and was told what to do to receive a refund. The process to return was straight forward. I'll try to buy another pair of Mizuno Waverider soon enough.

Have been a 'wave' runner for 10+ years and always enjoyed the shoe line. The new 28s seem to have made some serious changes in light weight and a spring-ear sole. The downsides are the toe guard area kinda falls onto your toes while running, the shoe materials are cheap feeling and my soles made it through one light summer of running. Fast shoe, yes; just be prepared to replace quickly

Ran a full size (or more) smaller than comparable brands like Brooks, ASICS, and Nike. It was hard to gauge anything else about the shoe because of the sizing issue.

I've worn this brand/model for years. Same normal side to side/heel/toe box fit as before, but as I run, I feel like my toes are falling over the edge. It's almost like there's less cushion/sole on front of shoe compared to previous years. Hoping that a longer break in fixes the issue.

I am a near daily runner, running about 20 miles a week. I have wide feet, and the 2E width is plenty wide for me, easily as wide as New Balance 4E sizing. From the moment I tried them on my local running shoe store, I knew they were the best fitting shoe I had ever had. I liked them so much I went searching for more on the Mizuno site and found some of last year's model. I'm just as happy with the 28s as 29s.

Love running in Mizuno Wave Riders. I have been running in the Mizuno brands for 7 or 8 years. The quality of the shoes are excellent for me and fit and wear well.

I use these shoes to run or walk up to 10 miles/day. They are by far their most comfortable out-of-the-box Wave Rider yet.

I use my Mizuno sneakers primarily for power walking, as well as for casual wear. While I do not have any sizing nor arch support issues, I do need a sneaker with good support. The Wave plate in Mizuno sneakers provides the support I need. Most other sneaker brands use varying degrees of nitrogen-infused (synthetic) rubber compounds, which lack support. Thank you, Mizuno, for what you do and for the high quality product. P.S. - My wife just purchased her first pair of Mizuno running sneakers, and she loves them!
