This was the third pair I've ordered, so obviously I like them, but the design and materials have changed since I first ordered and I don't like them as much as the original pair. the sole is wider, wool material different and eyelets much more widely spaced.

This is my 3rd pair of Wool Runner. My 1st 2 pair were comfortable immediately.. This new pair have not been as comfortable. I'm hoping they will start to feel better in the next few weeks.

I tried on the shoes in the store and worked with an associate to determine the right size. I needed a shoe for walking in cooler weather in Northern Europe and the wool runner was recommended. They felt fine at the time. Hindsight, I should have walked around in them before taking them on the trip because on the fist day of wearing them and walking several miles, the shoes were clearly too small with toes crammed and very uncomfortable. Since I had worn them outside, I knew I could not return them. :-(

Very stylish! Looking for a simple pair of lace-ups for casual wear. I have bunions, so love the idea of the soft wool uppers and - important! - the fact that there's no stitching where it'll rub me wrong. I did find that in my regular size my toes were bumping the top edge, and that they were kinda crunched together side-to-side. I'm returning them and trying the wider-toe-box-looking Pipers, one size up. Very much hoping they'll work out better, because they're very very cute!

Loved everything about these except that the seam/piping around the tongue was thick and hard which dug into the top of my foot. Wore them around the house for an hour to see if I could live with it, but had huge indentations on my foot. I was bummed because I loved the look and everything else was really comfy.

very happy when I found them online, but sadly they hurt at the back.

This is a very comfortable shoe, the wool is marvelous feeling. The show however does not fit my foot well. I am a solid size 9 yet this shows is miles too big. Also, I have a high instep and found that part tight. I was constantly adjusting/loosening the laces. The fit is just odd for me. Customer service was gracious and made the return easy.

I love these shoes, but feel I need a half size bigger to fit best. They do stretch from wearing them around the house with socks, but feel I need just a bit more room in my big toe area. Have written company to ask if getting a men's size would accomplish this goal. Am hoping so! Have bought a couple other styles since this purchase and even a pair for my daughter. Really want this wool shoe to work out!

I love my Allbirds, but definitely doesn't feel as comfortable with walking long distance if your flat footed. My feet cramp up a bit, even though the shoes fit perfectly and comfortably. I don't think there's enough arch support in these shoes.

Comfy and nice, but I don't think at all good for hiking! No support. No tred.Mostly for casual wear.If All birds really cares about customers, they would offer half sizes.I am reserving final judgements to see how they wash and they perform over time. But I am hopeful.

Gave me blisters

The tread was too smooth and slippery for my liking. Also, the structure of the wool portion of the shoe is lacking. It's wool so it's soft and doesn't hold its shape. I prefer shoes with good traction and don't look like a wrinkled blanket.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but the heels are very stiff on the wool shoes. I tried wearing them multiple times to break them in (with socks) but got blisters each time from chafing. I ended up returning them for the tree runners, which have must softer heels and were exactly what I was looking for.

I have so many pairs of the Wool Runners. The most I have are unfortunately 2nd generation, some never worn and some maybe once. My toes feel so cramped in them. (I did learn about the different generations from an actual store manager.) So, I bought this third generation. My toes have more room. However, after a 3 mile walk with them on, my toes were practically numb. This makes me very sad because I do love these shoes so much and have in the past given them as gifts and recommended them to others. The first generation shoes I wore all over Europe and Egypt with NO problems. Why was the design changed? Guess I now need to find something else!

They are comfy and very cute

They looked amazing, fit great and were very comfortable. I'm pretty picky with my shoes since I usually only wear the one pair everyday. I didn't like how the thick sole pushed my foot to the roof of the shoe so you could almost see the outline of my foot. I have incredibly flat feet so it was a little suprising, but I had a very easy and smooth returns process and got my money back. I wish they would have worked for me, but maybe next time.

Runs small

They are tight fitting

Just a little tight and first few wears left heel blisters. Hoping they stretch out so I will be more comfortable wearing them for 12 hour shifts.

I bought these exact shoes about two years ago and absolutely loved them! I thought they were the most comfortable sneakers ever. Just purchased a replacement and I'm not sure if the material changed but they feel very different. Much more stiff, and they gave me terrible blisters on the back of my heels on the first day wearing them. I am still recovering but once the blisters are gone I'll try and break them in a bit to see if it helps. I do not remember having any issues the first time I purchased these shoes.

Not enough toe room.

These shoes are relatively comfortable but they run small. I never wear above a size 10, so I ordered a 10. They were small and the back on my heel was hard. Since there is no half sizes it makes it hard to get the right fit. After wearing for 2 weeks and a few blisters they have broken in.

AFTER GOING THROUGH TOE ON RIGHT OF TWO PAIRS, I ORDERED A SIZE UP. TOO BIG. I AM KEEPING THEM, BUT NOW AM HAVING TO FIND INSERTS TO ACCOMMODATE THE ROOMY BOX. LOVE MY ALLBIRDS BUT WISH THERE WAS A COMPROMISE FOR US HALF-SIZERS AND NARROW FOOTED WEARERS.

just ok. I though would be able to wear without socks but that is not the case. I did purchase a pair of your socks and like all other no see socks, they bunch up therefore have to readjust quite a bit. too hot to wear in warm weather but cooler weather is nice a warm. I was hoping to wear on walking vacation but they rub after wearing awhile and they are too hot for summer.
