Im a Kickstarter backer and have owned dozens of pairs of the original Wool runners over the years. These are not as comfortable.

These are a gift, but so far so good. My wife ordered a 10.5 because my toes wore through the tip of my Tree Runners, which were size 10. They are a little tight across the top of my foot, but Im hoping that will improve with wear.

Doesnt work like the previous pairs. The instep isnt high enough.. Very tight under the laces..

Mostly great. Only complaint is the top back part is stiff and rubs against the achilles. So for now I can't wear with no-show socks. Hopefully that changes as I break it in

They are nice and warm and fit snugly. A bit tight putting them on, but I like them.

They are very good. I wish they had a little more room in the toe area

After having a really wonderful discussion on the phone with Karen at Allbirds, I was convinced to roll the dice and try the new Wool Runner 2s As promised by Karen, these have a much lower lift or rise of only about 5mm, which for me, makes a HUGE difference, as the early Wool Runners felt like I was tilting forward a little, which as it turns out, I was! Also, the larger toe box is much more comfortable, and the additional cushioning is much more comfortable as well! All in all, a great redesign and a welcome update to a shoe that I was already in love with Now, Im ready to be in a relationship with them LOL! Congrats, Allbirds You knocked it outta the ballpark.

So far, so good. The thicker sole and wider toebox add comfort and bounce to my walks. My only complaint is the paucity of more colors!

Think the new Wool Runner is a great improvement to original one. Nice to wear, better support and like the look.

In store, the newly designed shoes felt great. Once I started wearing them, the back of the heel started tearing into my Achilles. I bought these for an abroad trip over 30 days and will probably end up throwing them away.

This is my first pair of Allbirds. These shoes are so comfortable and the arch support is amazing. I walked around 40,000 steps the first few days of having them on and my feet feel great, no soreness at all that I would have with some other brands.

Unlike the original Wool Runners, the tab at the heel on this version rubs enough to pull no-show socks down and cause minor irritation on the back of the heel. I assume this will self-resolve as the shoes break in and my feet acclimate to the shoes, but it's disappointing nonetheless considering how perfectly comfortable the originals were right out of the box.

This is 4th pair of All Birds I have purchased. The Wool Runner 2 was advertised to have a roomier toe box which was the main selling point for me; however, to my feet the toe box had no more room than previous versions. The shoe itself is reasonably comfortable, when walking with the exception of pressure on the toes.

I wear size 10 but this product obvious is way bigger than other size ten shoes I own

The inner toebox material has fixed the issue of toes poking through the liner, but otherwise I don't think these are an improvement in any way compared to the old version. The tongue is a weird shape, there is a lot of excess padding around the top that makes them feel like they're never quite all the way on your foot, and the lines on the sole make them look even larger than the originals, which was something that took some getting used to at the time. I wish I had bought a pair of the original version instead.

These were my eighth pair of wool runners since I've begun wearing allbirds, and I was terribly disappointed to find that they were stiff and not anywhere near as comfortable as the originals. Change is not always a good thing and even though they may last longer, they have lost their joy.

These have a nice look to them. The logo on the back of the sole is a bit large, but not a deal breaker. For me though, these were nowhere close to the comfort of the original wool runners. I've been through 5-6 pairs of originals and wear them almost year round. These made my legs sore every time I wore them. Could be a foot shape issue, could be a difference in the drop. I didn't keep them long enough to see if I could get to a day where they felt better. Nice shoe, but not for me.

Often billed as the most comfortable shoe, I didn't find them that way. The sides are too low, and don't come up high enough over my feet, which causes the laces to be wide across the top of my feet. I like the cushioning and support, but taking a while to get used to short sides.

I love the shoes, mostly. I was a bit disappointed that they are not closer to Zero Drop. The previous version of the Wool Runner seemed closer. These seem to follow the standard pattern of really high heel-to-toe ratio. That is disappointing, even for shoes I got for free, due to my support of the original campaign. On the plus side, they are super light and comfortable. Also, the fit is outstanding, with the lacing hitting me in my sweet spot.

FITTING A BIT TIGHT, BEEN WEARING SAME SIZE, BOTH THESE AND THE BLUE PAIR ARE EVEN TIGHTER. HOPE THEY STRETCHH OUT A BIT. AS A PHARMACIST OF 42 YEARS IVE LOVED ALLBIRDS SINCE I FOUND OUT ABOUR THEM

Purchased the Men's wool runner 2 in person at A brick and mortar at a local mall about 1 mo. the ago . The fit was ok and thought I just needed to break them in .The biggest issue with the shoe is the new design causes irritation to the top of the foot. This irritation is too much for me and won't purchase again. I didn't have this issue with the wool runner 1, which I thought it was an upgrade excellent shoe. I am A size 13 and I am a nurse who's on their feet constantly.

New style is a disappointment. Stick with the original Wool Runners.
