I wanted something to wear on a European vacation -- something comfortable and sporty without looking too casual. These fit the bill perfectly -- casual but smart, comfortable enough for a full day of walking cobblestone streets or park paths. I wore them almost daily for 10 days.

Love my wool runner 2 shoes. i wanted a comfortable/stylish shoe as I knew i was going overseas soon and was going to be doing a ton of walking. These shoes more than held up. Averaged 8 miles a day for 3-4 days and no blisters or discomfort at all.

I wear a wide shoe, ordered a half-size up as recommended. These are a little too large, wish actual wide sizes were offered.

Really glad I finally purchased a pair - they are extremely comfortable. In the couple weeks that I've been wearing them to work, they seem well put together and will hopefully last a while. Living in the northeast, I think they are a perfect spring/fall shoe. They will probably be a touch too warm for me during the summer months, but are definitely still breathable. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that the packaging arrived in rough shape - the flaps on one side that keep the shoebox closed and one of the sides were almost completely ripped off. Luckily the shoes were undamaged. Pretty sure they shipped via FedEx and I think that is more on them than Allbirds, but hopefully Allbirds can come up with some improvements for more secure packaging while still balancing the sustainability aspect of things.TL/DR: Great, comfortable shoes; shipping leaves a little to be desired.

Definitely my favorite all birds show ever. Comfortable, able to handle daily walks to light exercise, and everything in between. I ended up going a half size bigger than the 12 I usually went with v1, and Im happy I did. Get it if you want your new favorite shoe.

This was the second pair of Allbird shoes that I bought. The first was the original Wool Runner which I love. I figured since version 2 indicated its wider, it would fit even better. I was so very wrong. It took me a little while to realize that the excruciating pain i was experiencing in my toes was due to these shoes. The pain happened every time I wore these shoes. I stopped wearing them and the pain went away. These were a waste of money for me.

Solid shoe, looks great. A little bigger of a shoe than I remembered trying on, and with so much bottom there's not a ton of room for your actual foot. If you have a taller arch like myself, the shoe is tight on the top of your foot.

The shoes are really comfy and cute! I feel good knowing Im supporting a company committed to sustainability. New fav pair!

Long time Allbirds customer with numerous pairs but the new Runner 2 is the literally the anti Allbird its the least comfortable shoe I known or have ever owned. Tongue constantly hurts my foot, heel hurts, just all around bad. PLEASE DONT MAKE THESE THE NEW RUNNER DESIGN FOR ALL LINES.

These were my eighth pair of wool runners since Ive begun wearing allbirds, and I was terribly disappointed to find that they were stiff and not anywhere near as comfortable as the originals. Change is not always a good thing and even though they may last longer, they have lost their joy.

As a person who spends most of my day on my feet, these shoes have been the perfect solution, especially during the cold winter months. It is no exaggeration to say that they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. My feet are warm and supported, my look stylish for my office.

These have a nice look to them. The logo on the back of the sole is a bit large, but not a deal breaker. For me though, these were nowhere close to the comfort of the original wool runners. Ive been through 5-6 pairs of originals and wear them almost year round. These made my legs sore every time I wore them. Could be a foot shape issue, could be a difference in the drop. I didnt keep them long enough to see if I could get to a day where they felt better. Nice shoe, but not for me.

I love this upgrade that we do not have yet in Europe.

Can't believe I didn't get these earlier. Have worn both them in winter in Western NY and down in Miami for the Bills game and they look right anywhere. Super comfortable, a bit warm because of the wool but the wool also means they don't get stinky despite my feet getting a little sweaty (compared to my tennis shoes which REAK). Easy to set up the laces to slip on or tighten them for a longer walk. Can wear barefoot but I'm not quite sure if I would since I don't really like doing that anyways.

Ive worn the original Wool Runner for years and was very excited for the update. Unfortunately Im not a fan. The shoes just arent as comfortable. The support underneath just isnt my cup of tea and the back heel has given me blisters twice. I changed my socks to help with the blisters but it hasnt been great still. On the plus side, my biggest problem with the previous version is the grip wore out quickly and it looks like these are much more defined and will last longer. While the shoe is okay it falls way below the original for me.

After reading the upgrades from the original Runner, I knew I'd enjoy wearing this Wool Runner 2. - The extra room in the toe box is game changing! The shape of the shoe fits very naturally and my toes are not crammed from the sides or top. - The cushioning in the sole is just right. Supportive yet soft. I always am in between sizes when it comes to finding a shoe that fits the length/width of my foot. These fit perfectly from the moment I tried them on. The only bit of feedback I have is that the shoe requires the laces to be fairly tight, otherwise I do experience some lift in the heel when walking. But this is not an issue because of the overall natural fit of the shoe.

Great fit, much more comfortable than the initial version. It does take a bit of time to break in, but once done, the level of support and cosiness is just amazing.
