This is my second pair. I love these boots. No break-in period and very comfortable. Roomy enough for 2 pairs of socks for my cold feet!

Very comfortable hiking boot. I bought them for a hunting trip in New Mexico and they were great!

Shoes fit well from the moment I put them on. Am in Iceland wearing them through lots of rain and feet are warm and dry.

My Merrell Moab 3 shoes are my everyday shoes. I wear them for everything my day has to offer. From day to day to do items or going to the ranch and feeding and working with the animals. We even find time to go for a hike.

Great shoe, true to size. Very comfy! Made my hiking day!

Great hiking boots. Fit great. No issues climbing to 10k feet on rocky trails. Feet were not sore at all after hiking all day.

LOVE! Ive never owned hiking boots before and had a trip to Iceland in September I needed boots for. I did the unthinkable and didnt break these in before but I returned from 8 days in Iceland with no blisters, and my feet stayed warm and dry. These are my new favorite shoes. I am normally an 8.5/9 and ordered a 9. My foot isnt wide, but Im 511 so theyre not dainty feet; pretty normal and there was no pinching. Most impressively, I have haglunds deformity so Im more prone to tearing up my heels in shoes and these felt like clouds the whole week. 11/10 recommend!

Absolutely love these. My fav hiking boots. So comfortable and supportive! Even with me still recovering from a broken ankle less than a year ago.

Very comfortable shoe, especially on rocky, uneven trails. This is the second pair I have owned, the first pair lasted 5 years of day hikes.

I tried out these new hiking boots last week on my ranch. They were supportive, comfortable and perfect. I didnt even have to break them in. I have been using Merrill hiking boots since 2014 and am confident in their quality and support.

My favorite hiking boots ripped had seen better days and I needed a new pair before a trip. I had the Moab low hiking shoe (not waterproof) that I wore on damp days. I decided to upgrade to a "waterproof" boot In April to be worn when walking the dog and hiking in inclement weather. Unfortunately the Moab 3 Mid waterproof did not fit the bill. While the boots are ok for dry days, two events involving rain have changed my mind. -- walking through a field a short distance, left my socks and boots soaking wet. -- after a rain, walking a soggy hiking trail left my socks wet. Definitely can't wear for walking the dog in sloppy snow weather. Disappointed I opted for this boot. Back to carrying extra shoes and socks when hiking and rainbows for walking the dog.

Loved them! Truly water proof and very comfortable, I didnt even get blisters breaking them in on my first few hikes!

I wore these everyday on my two week trip to Scotland. Through rain and drizzle these boots kept my feet dry and comfortable. I purchased a half size up ( 6 regular) to allow for thicker socks. I highly recommend them. These are my second pair of Merrels. I bought this pair as I needed a bit of ankle support.

These shoes were really great! Wore them around Iceland for a week and they were super comfortable and sturdy. Felt totally worth it to finally have a solid pair of hiking shoes.

Comfortable right out of the box, stood up to tromping through varied geography in Iceland and stayed warm and dry.

I purchased these boots for a trip to Iceland. I was recovering from broken foot and i needed a light weight, stable waterproof boot for my hiking excursions. These boots rocked. My feet stayed dry crossing small streams, stable for uphill climbing and light weight so I wasnt exhausted.

I took these boot on a hike for the first time in Norway and they worked great! It was raining most of the time and tough terrain, but they kept me warm. I would definitely recommend them.

Wore for first time hiking in Zion. They were cool in 115 degrees, great traction, dried quickly, sand and gravel fell right out of the sandal and no blisters.

I have some Merrell sandals that are more than 10 years old and still going, so I thought I would try the Moab 3. I love them!! They feel so great I felt like skipping down the trail! No break-in required. And they are very attractive to boot! Definitely a great purchase. I've tried other more expensive brands and these are far superior. I live in Idaho and hike a lot of rocky, muddy and wet trails. My feet are also very sensitive to getting blisters. I did ten miles on these first time out and they worked perfectly! Thank you Merrell for your great products.

Good grip but not very waterproof. After just a couple hours of hiking, avoiding water as I could, the boots were still soaked by the end of the hike. The grip on the bottom was great. I would recommend these to anyone in a dry hiking area.

I immediately took the Moab 3 Mid Waterproof boots on a 6 mile hike to "break them in." They were amazing! Supportive enough for the ankles without restricting movement, cushioned in all the right spots, no blisters from them. These will be my go-to hiking boots from now on!

I took my new Merrells to camp with 150 3rd through 6th grade boys and girls! The shoes and my 66 year old self survived!

Moabs have been my go to hiking boot for several years now and they hardly ever disappoint! Overall, these have been no exception although I did notice that this version (Moab 3 waterproof) seems to run about a half size smaller so I had to exchange my original order for a half size up. These boots kept my feet perfectly dry and warm while on a 4 day backpacking trip in the Great Smoky Mountains in pretty constant rain/wet conditions including walking through some pretty big puddles. They continue to require very little to no break in either, my feet felt perfectly fine on an 8 mile hike wearing these straight out of the box (once I got the correct size).

I love my hiking boots. I am not a hiker but I needed the right shoes to hike some trails with my husband. I am so glad I got them. They were comfortable and gave me a good foot support and zero blisters. One of our hikes was 4.5 hours (which thats a lot for me) and my feet didnt suffer (and it was just my second day of wearing them). I am a size 7 and thats what I got. I wore regular hiking socks with them and worked perfect. My boots did 17 miles in 3 days and I had no problemas.
