I replaced my waterproof Moab 2's with this Waterproof Moab 3. I normally wear a 10 but have found that in this model I need a 10.5. They feel so solid and my feet feel really supported and protected while at the same time being lightweight. They have been comfortable from the get-go, no break-in period. Sometimes I do wish I had gotten the ankle boots because things seem to still get between the shoe and the sock even with the mid model. Highly recommended!

I bought these a week before my hike in CO they came fast . These have honestly been the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever had. COMPLETELY water proof and the whole trial I was on was nothing but water and tons of mud they were out to the test and definitely showed up also true to size .

I love them from a moment I put them on. Got 7.5, my regular shoes size is 7. I am traveling in Arizona and did not have solid hiking shoes with me. Once I put them on I knew that is it.

These are the most unwaterproof boots I have ever gotten. I hike for a living and it's been wet, but even damp morning grass on a sunny day has been soaking my feet within minutes.

I love these boots, I need an Extra Wide width and they fit perfectly. They are also light weight and don't make my feet look real big

My daughter bought me these boots for Christmas and while at our cabin this past weekend after a rainy snowy weekend, my kids and I took a hike along a stream and my foot slipped off a rock and was completely submerged in over a foot of ice cold water. My pant leg was soaked but my foot felt dry so we finished our hike and an hour later back at the cabin I took my boots off and not a drop of water on my socks or inside my boot! Both were as dry as ever! I was shocked and surprised because I've never been able to find a true waterproof boot. Merrell saved the day and now my kids are looking to buy a pair. That one slip into the water would have ruined our hike but the boots staying dry was a game changer! Thank you Merrell. I highly recommend. Also very comfortable and easy to clean off the mud.

The best fitting boot that I have found. I have medium wide feet with a high arch and narrow ankle.

Merrell moab(s) were the first and only hikers that I have ever purchased. I've tried on others but couldn't get the fit I wanted. These feel 'just right' straight out of the box, with or without orthotics. As for performance and wear, this is my third pair in 30 years, worn for light hiking early Spring to late Autumn in Northwestern Ontario.

I bought these boots for a trip to the Arctic and they did not disappoint. They are comfortable, kept my feet warm and endured a lot of hiking. Best of all I love the color, they made me feel quite stylish ;)

Makes farty noises with my orthotic insoles, but otherwise excellent! Would love to see the speed hooks at the top developed with some kind of flip closure so they can't catch the lace of the other boot mid-stride when left undone or when the lace untucks from the boot. Maybe on a future iteration. Otherwise, I've had zero issues, even with my wide feet and bunions! Feels very secure and comfy, fits true to size. Worth every penny!

These boots are like my favorite old comfortable hiking boots right out of the box! I had never had a pair of these before and I'm so glad I purchased them. I can literally walk for hours in them without any discomfort. Merrell nailed it with this one!

Bought this pair after my little sister "borrowed" and "misplaced" my last pair of hiking boots. Took these on our trip to Wales and they were the perfect all purpose walking shoe, from walking up mountains to a casual walk through the woods. They were pretty true to size: I'm normally a size 5-6 in most shoes (e.g. women's 6 in Converse), and a 6 fit perfectly.

Super comfy and kept my feet dry even when I walked through streams that covered the laces! I have never really liked boots but these are great!

I was worried about getting into hiking since I had reconstructive surgery on my foot. Getting these have saved my life and has made me be able to hike like I used to! They are comfortable and reliable. I have walked through creeks and been to several waterfalls. My feet stayed dry the entire time. I will be continuing to by Merrell for hiking boots now on.

It is extremely comfortable and truly waterproof. I took it on my trip to Iceland, where it faced snow, waterfalls, and sand, and it held up perfectly. It's lightweight, making it easy to wear all day, and feels as comfortable as wearing my favorite sneakers.

Comfortable from the first step, I ordered these for an upcoming trip, but thought I would need to break these in. Not at all. I put these on first thing in the morning, went to a meeting, then we did a 2 mile hike, followed by a trip to the garden center and a few hours of yardwork. Perfect all day long. I own many pairs of Merrell's this pair is the best yet!

Great hiking boots. I wore these to Yosemite and Sequoia a week after purchasing them. They were comfortable and did not give me blisters. The only thing is they did leave the back of my legs red. i did not feel it both days of my hike, a family member pointed it out.

Excellent. These are the 3rd pair of Merrells I have owned and they are amazing. If you are looking for ankle support and comfort, buy these shoes.

Super comfortable and supportive. Handles rocks on the trail well. First worn in Joshua Tree National Park--fantastic! True to size, my foot requires a slightly wider shoe, 8 1/2 was perfect.
