Very satisfied for a new hiker! These were very comforting even the first time I wore them. No complaints, would buy again!

Wore them for the first time hiking a segment of the IAT in WI. They were pretty good. I did almost 6 miles but my little toe on one foot was sore and the other foot was a bit sore. Could be just breaking in time is needed.
Wore my other pair of Merrells in Spain doing 62 miles of the Camino, and after 3 years of hiking and that trip they were done. Which is why I bought some new ones. I could tell the difference right away, my new Merrells were quite cushioned and comfortable. I will wait and see if they do better. I'm hoping so as I plan to take them back to Spain next year to do more walking on the Camino de Santiago.

Great traction and fit. Ive hiked miles in these shoes over loose gravel, rocks, silt, mud and creeks. The shoes are stable and grip well. Stayed dry through creek crossings (not submerged). Mid height works for me. I liked my first pair so much, I bought another pair.

Great comfortable hiking shoes! Wore them 14 hours / 5 miles / 9,500 ft on the first day! Couldn't ask for better shoes!

The Moab 3s are not as good as the 2s, the support ( which is written the same) are not the same and they are tighter

These were tight in the toe-bed. Painless return, however.

My 4th pair in the Moab series, and just what Ive come to expect. Didnt even need a break in period, just put them on the first time and hiked the Hunt Trail to Katahdin. Fit like a glove!

Love these boots! They are very comfortable and definitely waterproof. Ive been wearing them to clear land with lots of poison ivy and sharp stones in the ground and they are amazing!

I went in late May to Spain to walk the El Camino pilgrimage from Sarria to Santiago de Computula. It was 40-45 the first half of the trip, raining most of the day and I was fine because my feet were dry, warm and supported by the boots. I saw many people in Hoka running shoes sinking in the muddy trail and others with other types of shoes at the cafe on the trial treating their feet from blisters---but not me. My feet were very comfortable and I was able to walk the varied terrain that is called a "trail" which means up and down hill, muddy ravines, stepping in stones to cross a stream and all were no problem!

This is my second pair of Moabs - first pair lasted 10+ years across many hikes. These new ones were comfortable right from the get go. Hoping they last an equally long time!

Great quality. I had plantar fasciitis and we were going on a hiking trip to Shenandoah. Needles to say i was anxious. I purchased these and my foot did not have pain for the 10 days hiking there. I'd definitely recommend and purchase again.

Lightweight and very durable. I've used these on some very rocky trails ocassionaly stubbing my toes, the boots held up great and my toes were uninjured. I'd give them 5 stars but they're NOT waterproof and not comfortable for off trail daily wear. My feet were soaked after walking across low cut grass covered with morning dew.

Always a perfect fit. This is my 4th pair of Merrell hikers and my 2nd pair of Moabs. As we live at 9,000 ft in the Rocky Mountains they are really put to the test and are amazingly durable. Excellent support and traction, I always feel confident in any terrain. Highly recommended them.

Hiked all day on a trail that was basically a combination of an ankle deep stream and mud and my feet stayed dry the entire time. This is the 3rd pair of these boots I have owned, love them!

Love these boots. Perfect for hiking mountain trails (which I did) every day. Great support for both my feet & ankles because those trails are not groomed.

I bought these a week before my hike in CO they came fast . These have honestly been the most comfortable hiking shoes Ive ever had. COMPLETELY water proof and the whole trial I was on was nothing but water and tons of mud they were out to the test and definitely showed up also true to size .

Good boots, well made, but not as wide as other "wide" fits and not waterproof even with the waterproofing spray. Fortunately neither really a big issue for me. Ready to go when you get them without any wearing in period which is good.

I've been wearing Meryls for a long time. I really love the color black and the blue. Can't wait to get them. I just Ordered the blue ones For the last 30 years, I've been having to go to The shoe fits store in middle place .he had to do it build up for me on any shoe I needed since I had the surgery. I'm finally in a normal pair of shoes again without a lift.

This is my second pair of this style of shoe from Merrell. Just as with the first pair, there is a breaking in period with the right shoe. It's probably the supination on the right side, but the top of the shoe rubs on my ankle bone and it hurts badly. I have to repeatedly adjust the shoelaces to get it right so that this doesn't happen.
I would recommend a more flexible shoe or one that isn't a high top to anyone who wants to do a lot of hiking right away, but they have this type of problem with boots.
Otherwise, I like these shoes in every way.
