For the prices boot is extremely comfortable and a nice looking boot. I don't wear a lot of boots. However, I've found myself falling in love and wearing this boot every day.

My husband has wide feet, and one foot is slightly bigger than the other. He is the most difficult person to find shoes for - however, these boots fit him perfectly. He said that the were super comfortable and did not need to be broken in. Perfect boots!

Run large. They will stretch out once you break them. Great boot overall and really like mine. Fit well once broke in and look great.

I wear a 11.5 in Hokas. I bought a 10.5 in these after trying them on in the store. How thick of a sock you wear will matter, but I find these run quite large. They do seem very well crafted.

Nice boits not for wide feet individuals. Well made, looks great.

These boots are easy to wear without any foot slippage. I recommend to anyone needing a nice looking comfortable work or dress boot.

These boots need time to break in. Initially rather hard to pull on, they got easier to put on and take off after wearing. Very comfortable to wear. They feel better the more I wear them. These feel very substantial, like they will last a long time.

Loved the boot but regrettably I had to return due to size. I ordered the suggested 1 1/2 size smaller men's boot but for this style of boot it was still too large and there were no smaller size to consider. Tried to make boot smaller or my feet bigger but that didn't work so I had to return them. Really liked the style and look of it but just wouldn't fit.

Extremely comfortable boots. Great boots while walking in snow and stepping in deep puddles. And they look great while wearing jeans or khakis.

These boots are beautiful and fit true to size. Very comfortable.

Boots are stylish enough for some dress occasions (I perform as a singer or standing violinist,) but offer good support and a solid, water-resistant and non-slip sole. Only wish they came in narrow.

I find the Chelsea boots to be very comfortable, fits a little long so I returned my size 12 for a size 11.5. I plan to get another pair soon!

Great fit, I am very satisfied. the length and the width were true to size.

The craftmanship and material, and color, were excellent. The fit was off. The boots were a bit big for my feet, granted that I have trouble finding the ideal sneaker. My feet are long but narrow. I would, however, rather have boots too loose than too tight.

I wish they had a front pull tab or made the opening slightly wider. Very comfortable but on the heavy side.

I bought the Chelsea boot in size 11 for $159. I had a gift card for roughly $43 which brought the total down to $116. The boot was too big so I exchanged for 10 1/2. As always , LL Bean processed a quick return. However, they charged me $159 and not $116. They didn't apply the gift card. The gentleman told me that the gift card was like cash or debit card. I assumed I would be charged $116 at time of exchange . The price I originally paid. I don't quite understand. . I love LL Bean and bought my first pair of Duck Boots when I was in my teens, before computers. We would thumb thru a catalogue and call orders in on a rotary phone.I am just a little confused on this order. But it is what it is. As for the Chelsea boot. They look nice and will be better when they become broken in. They are roomy and recommend ordering exact size. A good versatile boot.

Sized very large - I will be exchanging. Leather and sole are high quality and I am looking forward to replacements

I bought my normal size, and these were both too narrow for my standard width foot as well as too long. Strangely, they also shipped it in a shoe box that was too small for the boots and bulged out on the sides, being held together with packing tape. Not a great presentation. Anyway, it's a nice looking boot, but I returned due to the awkward fit. Never used to have problems like this with L.L. Bean footwear.

althought i like the look of these boots, the sole has separated. The tread on the soles is barely worn. Are they made in China?

The store page for these boots say to order your normal shoe size. Did that, and they were WAY too big. Went a full size down and they were still large. Another half size and my feet are still swimming in them. Each return is costing me $6. The boots seem very comfortable, but they run HUGE. Kind of ready to give up on these.
