I had these boots for past 15 years!! I finally broke down and was thrilled to find them again. Yes they are tight to put on. Give it a few times and it will get easier. True fit.

Nice look and great fit. When I first put them on I thought the top was too snug. I was wrong because after wearing them once... they seemed to mold around my ankle so perfect. Then I'm an older person and was concerned that the treads would trip me up as I walk.... well, that turned out to be the best thing about these short boots. Not even once have they tripped me up. Just total traction. I ordered the wide so that I could put thick socks on. They are so perfect. And comfortable. I wore them as is... no socks... this morning as if they were a pair of slippers... as I made coffee and took the dog out in the yard. I'm so glad I bought them!

I love these boots and put a lot of miles on them fall, winter, and spring. My orthotics fit nicely inside, the opening around the ankle fits snugly and doesn't allow for sock slips. My feet stay warm and dry, and the heavy treads on the soles give me confident footing in the snow and ice.

I love these boots. We've had a tough winter recently in Northeast Ohio; , and even today, in heavy snow and -8 temperature and -20 wind chill this morning, I was safe on all surfaces, warm, and comfortable, wearing them while walking my dog.

I love the Storm Chaser slip on rubber boots. I use them while gardening and they keep my feet warm and dry. They are well made.

They are perfect for this snow and ice. They're perfect for just rain also.

These slip-ons are true to Bean's quality. Very solid, sturdy shoe. They have great grips and feel comfortable and warm.

These are FANTASTIC! ! ! They were a little snug at first, but they stretched to fit my shoe size.

Looking for a winter shoe that didn't look like I just came in from the barn (I already have too many of those!) and these are perfect fit, style and comfort. I wear a medium width and needed a secure fit which these provide. I needed a shoe that provided safe traction to either walk down to the mailbox or out among the dogs, and could stand up to mud, rain, ice and snow. I also wanted a heel that didn't interfere with my knee joints and lower back; again, these shoes accommodated all these issues. Finally, I require good arch support, and the footbed does not aggravate my plantar fasciitis. I added alpaca wool felt foot liners for warmth, and there is enough room in the toe box and heel to allow for the inserts. I did not have any difficulty with slipping the shoes on nor off, however, you may wish to purchase a shoe horn to make it easier to slip your heel inside the footbed if you have mobility issues. The secure fit around the ankle protects the footbed from snow or ice entering the shoe. I consider it a marvel in design and function! LL Bean never disappoints when it comes to footwear!

I love these Storm Chaser boots. I like the ones with the rounded toe. Not a fan of the newer version with narrow toe box.

I received these this week and have already put many miles on them. First, let me explain that I have bunions on both feet, so my toe box has to be a bit wider without having to order wide sizes. They can be too sloppy. These fit me perfectly. I walk to work and home, approximately a 3 mile round trip, and wanted something with serious tread and waterproof for North Eastern Oregon winters. So, the first time I wore them, it was for the work-walk and they were comfortable. I also wear them in my barn with the horses, and they are perfect, and will be until I'm slogging through a few feet of snow.

This is my third pair of Storm Chasers. They aren't meant to be fashion boots, as one reviewer seemed to think, they are for working in inclement weather. I wear these boots for barn chores. They work for most seasons in the horse barn, keeping my feet dry and warm, while also giving me great footing. Each pair has give me years of service.

These boots are great for doing lawn work. Also when it's raining outside. Very comfortable. Both my husband and I love these boots. This is my second pair.

Appropriate sizing, comfortable, sturdy and meets my needs for working in in a variety of outdoor settings, providing good foot support, water proofing. I would recommend.
