My mother gifted me these shortly after we brought home a lab puppy, 4 years ago. I've worn these to walk her ever since. If you own a lab, you know just how long those walks are! I love how easy and quick they are to slip on and go. They are perfect for the PNW wet season (so, 9 months out of the year). They hold up in snow, puddles, and driving rain. I'm sensitive to how shoes fit because of back issues, but these are extremely comfortable. Now after almost 5 years, the sole on one of my shoes is starting to peel off from the front, so I'll be buying another pair soon. :)

I needed a pair of shoes that would hold up to sloppy weather, living on a farm and trips to work and the city. These fit the bill beautifully! They are true to size, comfortable and they grip the pavement or floor as needed and protect my feet from the inevitable slop and freezing cold at this time of the year. And they are stylish! I would recommend to anyone looking for practical, comfortable and waterproof shoes.

I have been buying Merrell mocs for almost 20 years to walk my dogs, at least 5 pairs. I had been very satisfied. The last pair did not stand up to normal use. They cracked letting in water well before the tread had been worn down. My previous pairs never cracked. Nevertheless, I went to buy my 6th pair but the tread advertised 2025 was a big disappointment. Definitely need aggressive tread in Utah mountains! So I purchased LL Bean Stormchasers. They fit well, nice and snug near ankle (an improvement on Merrell), the tread is deep and they fit my foot just like Merrell. I actually like the appearance better than Merrell or maybe I was just ready for a change. If they will last at least 2 years I will be a convert.

This is the pair I have purchased. My first pair I wore out because I use them everyday around a ranch. They are easy to slip into and keep my feet dry and they're not too heavy and bulky.

These waterproof shoes are easy to slip on before going out in the rain.

Great outdoor boot for walking the dog early in the morning on wet grass or feeding the cows later in the day.

Love the storm chaser shoes. I've had 2 pair of the clogs, and now a pair of the shoes. They seem to be as easy as the clogs to slip on. I'll be wearing a heavier sock with them

I've purchased two pair used and worn them out so i decided i need a new pair. I run a farm animal sanctuary and have an old leg injury so i can't wear heavy rubber boots anymore these are the only thing that's comfortable and sturdy all day every day! Waterproof is a necessity for me and not being hot and hard on my leg is a huge bonus. Just got my new pair and i love them. The shipping was fast as well

This is the shoe I have been wanting to find! The best feature is the lug sole, which grips the soil and gives a secure feeling while dancing here and there in the garden or trying to stay on the slope. I spent a lot of time searching on line, and nobody is making this lug sole for the garden shoe. And, get this, you can step right into these and be outside in a jiff! No lacing to fool with! Slightly pointed toe is not needed (we only need a round toe for this sporty shoe). Get a 1/2 size larger to give toes plenty of room. Thanks LL Bean for this great shoe!

Perfect for outside for yardwork, walking my dogs especially when it is rainy, muddy, and snowy outside. I live on a wooded lot and it is work to keep certain areas cleared. These work for me to keep my feet dry and comfortable.

These storm chasers are just what I was looking for. I love the color combination of navy, brown and grey. The inside is a pretty blue and the loop on the back is fuchsia. Very good looking. They are great for walking your dog on raining days. No more wet feet for me!

The shoes are great. Live on a ranch and they really come in handy when working outside. Slip on very nice.

These are great barn boots or garden boots. They are very supportive for my troublesome feet, very comfortable, and heavy duty. They seem to last forever, but I do replace them with the same thing every few years!! Hope they are never discontinued.

These are perfect. Comfortable with good support. Warm and dry. My main goal was walking the dog in wet weather. Yes they are a little hard to put on at first which is fixed with a shoe horn. Yes it gets easier.

These were what I needed to walk in yard with hilly spots after rain and ground is slick with standing water and wet leaves. They keep me from losing traction and falling.

These shoes are lightweight and easy to clean. My friend is 80 and wears them everywhere as she cares for horses everyday.

I love these storm chaser boots. These are my third pair. My first two pair were medium width in an 8 and 81/2. I struggled getting them on and hoped that ll Bean would bring them out in a wide. I went up again to a size 9 in wide and they slid on perfectly and they have enough room for thicker socks. Try going up a half size to make it easier to slide them on. I love the quality and feel secure walking in them in winter weather.
