I normally wear a barefoot shoe for lifting (leg day in particular) but I have always wanted a pair of these TYR lifting shoes as my anatomy and ankle mobility make it difficult to back squat below parallel. Well with these shoes its not a problem now! I love them and the color scheme is awesome! Highly recommend to the advanced gym goer.

I have been lifting for a couple years now and wanted to start doing some Olympic lifts. Researched into lifters and heard great things about TYR L-1. Ive used them a few times and have to say I am blown away with the performance so far, absolutely recommend them.

Great fit and comfortable.

I bought these a little skeptical but they have completely changed my mind. The toebox is so comfortable and they are the best weightlifting shoe I have ever owned.

Ive looked at these a lot and followed squat university so I seen the results from others. I have had these two days and let me tell you. I feel more balanced when Im squatting, I feel more power on the rise, my feet feel better and not so stressed when theyre smashed. I recommend this to any lifter; power, body building, strength. Its well worth the money.

As somebody who was put onto the idea of being able to sprawl your toes years ago, I feel it is only natural to add extra space in the toe box. These lifters are great. They allow you to sprawl your toes to maximize balance and do what lifters do. Awesome product. Would recommend!

Fits well

I have been coaching for over 25 years and spent some time competing in Weightlifting. Needless to say, a lot of Weightlifting shoes have been on my feet. The TYR L1 is at the top of my list. I have very narrow feet with toes that never splayed to begin with, so the wider toe box wasn't the selling point for me. After years of using Nike, Adidas, Velaassa, etc I wanted to give the "new shoe on the block" a go. The look of the shoe is what grabbed my attention first. The U.S.A. theme L1 is slick-looking. The performance exceeded all expectations. The shoe is firm and stable to the floor and fits very comfortably. It's the first one I've had that's true to size instead of dropping 1/2 a size down. What I appreciate the most though is the attention to detail with the lateral straps. The way they are constructed there is a piece of fabric that covers the bottom section of each strap. The laces don't get caught or snagged when lacing up. Having longer laces than other shoes this is a great convenience to quickly secure the laces to the upper & lower straps. It's the details that matter. Well done TYR!!!

Very stable and good value for money.

I love my lifters! I sized up half a size and they still feel tight - maybe they're supposed to? They are great shoes and I love having them.

Very comfy

Ive been using them for a couple weeks. Great shoe for lifting. I am usually an 11.5 I ordered a 12 and they fit great fit for my wide feet. I did try a 13 but it was way too big. Id suggest order a 1/2 size up from your normal shoe.

Love these lifters! They fit great- I went up a 1/2 size and they fit perfectly. And the purple is gorgeous!!

Amazing upgrade from my Nikes. I love the wider toe box for me. Did go up a half size and used the AI sizing chart, they are perfect. Have been helping with certain things in my lifts. Definitely recommend!!!

as expected great for a first lifting shoe I got 9's and I usually where 9, so they seem like an accurate size

Finally something that fits a wide Polynesian foot

This were my first pair of TYR and it did not disappoint!! I was worried because I have really wide and flat feet, so its always hard to find a good pair of shoes that dont hurt. These have exceeded my expectation! Theyre worth the price!

Ive been looking for a wide toe box lifting shoe for so long! I have always had to cram my feet into pointy lifting shoes and now I feel like my feet can widen out and stabilize so much better. Also, these are incredibly well-made and good build quality.

These shoes are worth every penny I spent on them. I feel so much more stable in my squats and it's easier for me to get parallel. My quads are also finally feeling the burn!! I normally wear a size 7.5-8 in women's and went for a 8.5 here...super glad I did, definitely size up.

Love these shoes. The elevated heel is a must with weightlifting. Then you add the wide toe box and these shoes become a 10/10. I'll never wear a different shoe again.
