Finally some wide enough shoes. Excellent stability, no give in the heel when under load, and don't feel like I'm slipping forward in the shoe. Will be getting CXTs as I've had such a hard time finding athletic shoes that actually fit.

With the wide toe box and the flat base, this shoe is amazing for weight lifting. Don't use these shoes while warming up with a jog though, they are uncomfortable for anything besides a light walk. Consider bringing a second set of shoes to the gym if you like to warmup on the treadmill.

An overall great lifting shoe. With sizing definitely get a size bigger, or just take the insoles out for a better fit. I bought my actual shoe size (11) and with the insoles in not a lot of toe room.

These were my first pair of lifters and theyre fantastic. I have large and wide feet and they fit very well in them. I feel super supported and secure when lifting. They instantly helped my depth due to my not so great mobility. They do run a little bit small but i like the snug fit with the lifters.

The anatomical toe box is so great. Its amazing tgat it took so long for someone to come out with a lifting shoe with a wide toe box

They fit great, the heel takes a little getting used to after having the Reebok lifters.

I've been lifting in the L-1 Lifters for about a month now. This is my first pair of weightlifting shoes. I love them. They are stable and comfortable, and I feel like they provide a good base for pushing the floor away. I wear all wide toe box shoes, and I think the toe box is good on these. Very good shoe, and thanks to Squat University for the work in making these have anatomical toe box.

First new pair of lifters in years. Hadnt ever realized how much of a difference the wide toe box would make until I did a few sets. They feel very secure and great traction- I really feel like my full foot is planted when doing heavy squats.

I used to use Nike Romellos ( The very first version). My feet were far too wide and would get crammed. I had such bad foot pain after squating and like any normal twenty year old I just shrugged off the pain because I thought it was just something you had to put up with to train hard. Come to find out that is not the case, Some of us wide feet and need the extra space to perform optimally, Definitely worth the investment!

I recently bought the Tyr and a competing brand at the same time to test during a squat session and noticed comparable heel lift/firm to push from. However, the key difference was the toe box of the Tyr lifters. The other brand shoes were pinching my toes with their narrow toe box whereas the Tyr allowed enough space to push off the floor without worrying about my toes pinching together.
