As I get older it is important for me to get daily exercise and I do this by walking five miles a day. The Keen WK 400's are comfortable and give me the support to walk efficiently and with proper form. The shoes keep my feet secure and give my toes plenty of breathing room. Comfort, support and affordability all in one!

Well made shoe for walking. I walk five to eight miles a day and they feel great. I especially like the way the shoe makes me walk heal to toe. I have had SI joint problems (recently corrected by a new surgical procedure) and began to shuffle. These shoes help to remind me to lift my feet and not to shuffle.

These shoes by Keen are beyond comfortable. This is the first time Ive worn shoes like this that have the rolling feeling, and its been a very unique and positive experience wearing them. The shoes have excellent underfoot comfort and are true to size. They are breathable and I like the feeling of forward momentum while walking. I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a good walking shoe or a shoe to wear on a daily basis, as they are comfortable, supportive, and look nice as well.

These are some good walking shoes - definitely an adjustment the first few times you wear them. They propel you forward into a walking motion as you rock from heel to toe. Definitely not for running/jogging, and feel a bit weird if you're just standing around. I put them on for walking the dog and that seems to be my ideal use. They smell pretty strong first out of the box, let them air out a bit first.

The WK400 is the perfect walking shoe in any terrain. They are flexible with a forward movement that seems to go beyond the normal distance. Wide tread helps with stability. The side lacing also makes it easier to move on.

I've been a bit of a gym rat lately, but mostly on weights. These were my first pair of true running shoes and I must say that running is significantly nicer with these as opposed to the normal ratty sneakers that I had been trying. I run mainly on a treadmill and have a tendency to run hard (i.e., stomp the treadmill - what can I say, my calves are shredded?). Regardless, running is so much more comfortable in these shoes than anything I had been using. Well worth the investment IMO.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Men's WK400 sneakers by Keen, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. These shoes have quickly become my go-to pair for any casual occasion. First and foremost, the comfort level of the WK400 sneakers is exceptional. From the moment I slipped them on, I felt a noticeable difference in the support and cushioning they provide. Whether I'm strolling around the city or going for a long walk, my feet feel pampered and well-supported throughout the day. The shoe's design incorporates thoughtful features that enhance comfort, such as the padded collar and tongue, which add an extra layer of coziness. The WK400 sneakers also boast an attractive and versatile design. The sleek and modern aesthetic makes them suitable for various settings, from casual outings to more laid-back office environments. The neutral color options available allow for easy pairing with different outfits, adding a touch of sophistication to my overall look. One of the standout features of these sneakers is their durability. The high-quality materials used in their construction ensure that they can withstand the rigors of daily wear. Even after several weeks of use, the shoes still look and feel as good as new, showing no signs of wear and tear. This longevity is a testament to the brand's commitment to producing long-lasting and reliable footwear. Furthermore, the WK400 sneakers offer excellent traction and grip, making them ideal for outdoor activities. Whether I'm navigating slippery sidewalks or tackling uneven terrain, I feel confident in the shoe's ability to keep me steady on my feet. The reliable traction gives me peace of mind, especially during wet or unpredictable weather conditions. Overall, I highly recommend the Men's WK400 sneakers by Keen. They combine exceptional comfort, durability, and style to create a shoe that exceeds expectations. Whether you're exploring the city streets or embarking on an outdoor adventure, these sneakers are sure to provide the comfort and reliability you need, all while looking effortlessly stylish.

I highly recommend these shoes. I suggest putting these on at home and wearing them a few days prior to working with no them. The shape of the sole does take a little adjusting to but it's well worth it!

My husband really likes these shoes. He normally has trouble finding shoes that dont rub on the bone that sticks out on the side of your ankle. These dont rub at all! He also said they are very comfortable and feel like he is walking on cushions.

Even though these shoes may look a little weird but I have to admit they are super comfortable and actually make walking a bit more enjoyable. The curved soles add a little bounce to your step reducing the impact on your feet and knees. The shoes have a breathable mesh lining to keep your feet comfortable and dry.

These shoes are extremally comfortable, and stylish too. They have great support both in arches, and a nice cushion on the soles. The laces are easy to lace up, and the breathable material is very beautiful and allows the shoe to breathe and helps cushion your toes.. I love the finger loops that help you pull them on too. Very great walking, working and even exercising shoe..

I have been walking in these shoes exclusively, several miles at a time, for the last few days. And I like them a lot, they certainly met my expectations as a fan of Keen hiking boots. But they do have a couple of funny quirks. First of all, right out of the box these are durable, heavy duty shoes. I got them in size 10.5 which is my normal walking/running shoes size, at first they were a bit hard to put on which made me worry that I picked a size too small, but after only a short walk they loosened up quite a bit, and now they slip on and fit perfectly. These are true to size but do take a couple of miles to get to that point. They're easily the heaviest shoes I own, which is both a good and a bad thing. They feel built to last, but at the same time it is a little off to wear non-boots that weigh as much as they do. There's a bit of a learning curve. Speaking of learning curve, the design of these shoes in general. I absolutely love how it feels to walk in there - they're shaped in a way that creates a rolling sensation right in the middle of the foot. It makes me want to keep walking, and it makes my walks feel faster and more comfortable than I've ever experienced before. These shoes are also super comfortable for my heels, there's so much padding, my heels feel protected but there's more than enough wiggle room for my toes. I can comfortably walk in these for miles and I feel significantly less fatigued afterwards compared to when I use my normal walking sneakers. But now I have to point out a few unfortunate kinks. First of all these shows have a VERY strong "new show" smell that will not go away - it's decreased but I still smell it after a few days which I don't like. I hope it fully disappears but for now, it's a pretty big annoyance. Also, while they're super comfortable to walk in, the shape of these shoes does make it a bit awkward to do anything other than walking - light jogging (like in order to get through a yellow light) and especially walking up and down stairs both feel very awkward, I'm getting more used to them but I just feel slightly off-balance while performing these actions. Similarly, it feels kind of awkward to simply stand in these shoes, since they feel like they're trying to propel me forward! So for things like waiting at red lights or in lines at stores, it's a little odd of a feeling. Lastly I want to talk about the design of these shoes. I like the design a lot, they're very sporty and I'm a fan of how big and chunky they are, but I'm not the biggest fan of the placement of the shoelaces (which are at a slight diagonal as opposed to going down vertically) and I especially don't love the placement of the KEEN logo/the big WK400 on the tongues. The WK400 isn't so bad, I just think they stand out a bit too much. But the big KEEN logo right at the toe of each shoe looks really lousy, it really looks like they stamped the logo in the most obnoxious, most noticeable location imaginable. I don't understand why they couldn't simply put the logo on the sides or the back like any other shoe. All of these little nitpicks, but especially the comfort aspects while standing/jogging/going up stairs, are enough for me to lower the overall score to 4 stars. Again these are fantastic overall, and I think they will last for a very long time, but if Keen can find a way to iron out these few kinks these could really be a special pair of shoes.

These are built from a last that is different from other Keen shoes, so they're not nearly as wide in the toes as other Keen models. I bought my usual size that I get when I buy Keens, and find I need to use a shoehorn to get them on. BUT once they are on, they are quite comfortable and a pleasure to walk in. The fact that they fit so snugly may be part of the reason they are comfortable while walking. But you might want to consider ordering a half size larger than your usual Keen orders.

Have worn only Keens for years, but after ankle fusion surgery needed a rocker bottom. Was happy to see this new design, and am delighted with them. The elastic over the instep is a slight challenge with less flexibility in my foot, but the effect of the sole when walking is worth it.
