Very comfortable cushioned shoe. I like that the inside has no rough or scratchy seams. I have worn them without socks and had no issues. I have to swap out the insoles for my own inserts. Therefore my heel slips just slightly. Not an issue at all. I do not run in these shoes. I wear them for work as a nurse. I like that the extra toe height but maybe a little less. A bit bulbous looking. I have the dark grey and purple. Pleasantly surprised that the purple is brighter and prettier in person than picture on website

I use these daily. Love the roomy toe box but mid fit a bit small and my heel slips. Its better when using the heel slip lacing but sometimes it hurts the top of my foot doing that. Oh I got these in the purple color and it very pretty. I wish they made more options with darker soles. I like white but they get dirty roo quickly for my liking.

I use my topos mostly for lifting and some walking. I used to get something else with a zero drop not made anymore so sad! Please make these in plain black and plain white! I like this level of cushioning with the zero drop. I live in these shoes, but I just want a plain color. Topos saved my feet with the amazing toe box and zero drop options.

I bought these shoes on the recommendation of "hiking guy" from the intenet for climbing half dome. i was not disappointed. they are the most comfortable shoes i have ever owned and perfect for long hikes. only minus is that on both mine and my partners, the fabric frayed around the top edge on one spot early on. but i still wear them nearly every day.

I wanted to love these. I had a pair of the original Pursuit a couple years ago and loved them. I also wear the Magnifly and LOVE them - just enough cushion, but also really flexible, and lovely toe box space (but secure for my narrow heel). Unfortunately, the Pursuit 2 just didn't do it for me, so they'll go back. I found these to be narrower/shorter in the toe box compared to my original Pursuit, as well as my current Magnifly 5's. If I pull out the insoles to compare to my Magnifly, they're about 1/10 inch shorter and narrower. I did the same comparison with a pair of Altra Lone Peak 8's, and found the same. I could obviously remedy this by sizing up, but they also just felt overall more stiff compared to my original Pursuit and Magnifly 5's. If Topo could make a straight up trail version of the Magnifly, I would wear them exclusively for trails and hikes. Until then, I'll have to keep wearing my Lone Peaks... Also, I second the person who requested more earthy tones/neutrals for trail runners. Topo's have been great for my feet, but they could take a page from Brooks (or even Altra) with color ways. Comfort first, but hey, give us awesome looking shoes, too!

These are so comfortable upon first wear! Unfortunately there isn't enough cushion in the toes for a toe runner like me, and they are too pliable which mess with the arthritis in my foot. I love the big rock plate and the extra grippy lugs. I wanted to 100% love them but I can't with the toe cushion and bend.

I bought the mint/grey in a 7.5. I loved the color combo, even though I hadn't expected to like it, not really being into grey colored shoes. The fit seem a bit better for me than the older pursuit which was a bit looser, but I eventually stopped wearing them because there was an uncomfortable cutting pressure in area where the laces are located and at and just above my upper toe joints. This might be because I have high arches. I wanted to loosen the laces, but they were at their loosest. . Otherwise the shoes seemed well made and the wide toe box is great.

This shoe felt fine until I put a mile or two on it. then it is definitely tighter in the heel box and mid foot. The toe box seems a little short too. Not a sock issue. Same socks in all shoes. Maybe just a one off for this shoe. Great overall look and lugs.

Trail. Felt great but too stiff for my foot. I returned but they were really nice shoes I stuck with MT5 a little more flex but not as much stability

I so wanted the 'Topo Athletic Pursuit 2' to work out - but after testing the shoe inside/on carpet - sadly it is going to have to be returned. I thought since it is 'zero differential' the insole that was 'level'. Despite being 'zero differential', the shoe has a very pronounced arch area, making it quite uncomfortable. The shoe felt shorter and more narrow than other same size shoes in the brand. Perhaps for some people the insole that is going to be comfortable -- it is referenced as an 'FKT Insole'. The insole has 'little raised bumps' all over the insole. For me that was very uncomfortable. (Other Topo shoes I have used have a smooth insole which has been comfortable.) I could have decided to separately purchase alternative smooth insoles to replace the 'bumpy' ones, but with the price of the shoe, it seemed rather economically impractical to need to purchase another set of insoles that would have added to the cost of the shoe. Sadly I will need to return the shoe --- but the Zappo return process makes it easy to return if needed.

I have the Pursuit (vs the Pursuit 2). The wide toe box and the zero drop are great, although the shoes are a tad loose for me at the widest part of my foot, so they weren't that great for really rough terrain (too much slippage). I'm still wearing them over a year later, but am looking to replace them. I may purchase the Pursuit 2, but I'm hoping that the company will add additional colors. I love the blue color of my current (older version) Pursuits.

I needed a new pair of trail shoes and have several pairs of Topo's, which I love for my D width small foot so I gave the Pursuit 2 a try. I ordered these and the Terraventure 4 to compare. My feet are happiest in a zero drop or 3mm drop shoe. The Pursuit 2 was perfect in every way except the volume of this shoe in the forefoot was noticeably less than the Terraventure 4, so I decided to return. If the Pursuit had a bit more volume, I would have kept it over the Terraventure as it had a bit more cushion and I preferred the feel of the footbed and zero drop. I have a bunion on my right foot, so the tighter fit was a deal breaker.

This is a well made shoe and I loved the color but they were too big for me. I wear an 11 in Hoka but should have had a 10.5 in Topo Pursuit. Otherwise, the fit would have been great. I could feel the lugs or whatever you call them (on the bottom of the shoes) when I walked in the house on the carpet, so they will not work for me to wear as a daylong shoe. I'm returning the shoes.

I walk the beach with my dog every day, climbing over rocks, seaweed, logs, etc. The tie box for 2025 does not feel or look as round as in 2023. It feels a bit more angled across the toes, which is why I left Altra and went to Topo. I would like to see the toe box go back to the 2023 roundness. I would also like to see some darker colors for options; black, dark grey, navy, etc. I would also prefer a dark edge instead of white.

I bought the magnifly and they're so comfortable unfortunately I returned them because I needed 11.5 . The half sizes stop at 10.5. My toes kept bumping into the rubber thing inside the toe box. This actually gave me immediate relief in my heel. Please make half sizes for all the shoes

Used it for gym workouts, it was nice until the rubber parts on the soles of shoes started to lift and come off. I almost tripped several times due to it coming apart

I like the wide toe box very much but the base (sole) of this style was not comfortable for me.

The pros - love the zero drop, the general comfort and fit, vibrum sole, and new ortholite insoles. The cons - really hate the new upper. I think they tried to make it more breathable, but the mesh lets in so much fine sand and dirt. The upper ripped in spots where the two colors/ materials combined. I went to grab them for a run and saw the whole side blew out. I had 3 pairs of the previous model and still wear a pair for lighter activity. The new upper is really disappointing.

After hiking 65 miles on the Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT) in a competitor shoe, I had to get off trail to purchase new shoes with more cushion. I was recommended the Pursuit 2, the first 32 miles hiking in these I loved them but then quickly found that they are too narrow in the toebox, arch and the heel insole was too cupped around my heels causing rubbing and blisters. I really wish these shoes could have worked for me, the cushion was great but I did not like how my foot in the arch area would overhang the sole and the claimed wide toe box was not enough for me. Wish I could return but bought them from a retailer.

I love these, especially for trails and comfort but these were worn out in 4 months (and I’m on a running break), so I’m walking in these only. The material is just crumbling.

I got a pair of the pursuit twos in the gray color in late February and had to exchange them because the eyelet popped off. The second pair I got in mid-march had an eyelet come loose. I just glued that back, which has held. These are not my everyday shoes but I wear them often. They have started ripping from the sole. I can put my finger through the mesh. The heel of the shoe is also coming apart and hurting my ankle. I don't recommend these. Waste of money to only have them this long.

I walk a lot, and the Magnifly 4's were perfect - zero heal drop, high stack height... I wore through three pairs. The Magnifly 5 is not an upgrade. They don't fit as well around the opening of the shoe; even tightened to the point of discomfort it feels like I'm walking out of them so my gait adjusts to keep them on, which is causing pain. They aren't too big; if I sized down my toes would be crushed. These shoes aren't terrible but they do not live up to their predecessors.
