I've now worn these for several runs, walks, and two twelve hour hospital shifts. In a nutshell: they were perfect for all of the above. I've suffered low back pain as long as I can remember, and had none when wearing these. The contour to my foot is perfection. I bought these in my usual running shoe size and the fit is great. Initially I received these for free to sample and provide a review. However, after using these in multiple capacities I've already ordered another pair to have specifically for work. 10/10 recommend for running, walking, or just spending a lot of hours up and on your feet.

The fit is perfect for easy recovery days. My new go-to shoe.

Stable and supportive like my Paradigms, but much lighter and springieralmost like a racing stability shoe?! I love these and will buy more if they stand up on long runs too.

I love Altra shoes. However the color is never accurate. My black paradigms are dark green and these supposedly gray shoes are more of a light aqua. I will keep them because they were on sale. I love Altra shoes.

I love how wide the toe box is, the color, and how the Altra Experience Form looks on. In fact they are super comfortable in every way except the toe box wasn't quite tall/high enough and the top pressed lightly on the tops of my toe nails when just standing. Lightly is still too much when I'm getting them to put 40k-60k steps in a weekend. I'd either wear holes in the tops, end up losing my toenails, or both, so they're going back. My toes were not at the end of the shoe so they're the right size, and my nails are neatly trimmed so the issues is just that the toe box isn't high enough

I love the comfort of this shoe even with the high stack, unfortunately the 4mm drop caused knee pain as I am use to a zero drop. I thought maybe I would hang in there with it, but then re-thought that anatomical misallignment and returned it with reluctantly.

The low heel to toe drop takes some getting used to, but the extra toe room is worth the effort. The sole is too soft and squishy for me, so I added some fairly stiff insoles and that's working ok. So far, I'm satisfied.

I use these shoes for crosstraining (weights, rower, erg skier) and walking. The think I like the most is the way the heel of the shoe contours to my foot - so it doesn't slip around or cause blisters.

I love Altra's guide rail feature which is why I chose these. I was surprised by a couple of things - the color is much more purple in person and the laces should be longer. The laces are too short for a basic heel lock pattern, so I'll be swapping them out. My previous shoe is the Paradigm 6 and that's what I wish I could buy over and over again!

These Experience Forms are my second pair of Altras. My toes are happy with the space they have in these shoes . While they are specifically suggested as shoes for walking, I walk in them and wear them all day long because of their comfort, and they easily fit my orthotics. I have two concerns: 1) My most critical concern is keeping them looking clean; advice for cleaning would be immensely appreciated! I would like to be able to toss them into the washing machine. 2) A few of the combinations of colors are tastefully eye catching. I like best high-contrast shoes with darker soles. The ones with muted colors that were offered a very short time ago are absolutely unappealing! These shoes are comfortable every day shoes and I have recommended them to friends. I'd love to see your designers create strong city designs that are easy to keep clean.

For anyone ordering the taupe shoe thinking it's a taupe black and gold shoe it's not, it's purple, lilac, and an orange color. Disappointed about the color, but it's still a great shoe.

I've been in love with the Paradigm since the Paradigm 3. This was the shoe that gave me my love for running because my knees and back no longer hurt. I have been running in the 6 for 2 years now. I have 7 pairs. I thought I'd try this Experience Form because I read that heavier, heel strikers might benefit from a small drop. I have to say this is a pretty good shoe! Very nice padding (think squishmallow) around the heel makes for a comfy fit. The biggest difference I notice is how this shoe has some stability but not as strict as the Paradigm. I've noticed my heel is still able to sink in slightly on the inside when I land, whereas the Paradigm really makes you land on the outside of your heel. I feel this is a good thing for me, as I'm not a super underpronator, and I feel like I'm landing more evenly now not solely on the outside of my heel. I've also enjoyed that this shoe is lighter. My feet don't feel so heavy and I've actually been clocking 15-20seconds less per mile for the past 5 runs with the Experience Form. I have to get a 9.5 in the Paradigm for the shoe to fit my foot properly and with that, my second toes hit the top of the shoe and basically I have no toenail left on those two toes. I ordered a size 10 in the Experience and it fits and does not hit my toes so maybe with continued wear I'll get my toenails back! These shoes did not come with elastic laces so I switched them out for Caterpy laces.

I received the Altra women's Experience Form sneaker for free in exchange for trying out and reviewing the product. I put the shoes on the day I got them and went for my run with no break-in period. They were comfortable and cushioned right from the start. I used them for several days and the only drawback was the felt a bit tight in the front of the sneaker, like I may have needed a half size larger. I simply wore thinner socks and it worked out well but I would need a larger size if I were to use these regularly in place of my usual running shoes. But overall they were roomy everywhere else and very lightweight and comfortable.

They fit perfectly but not enough arch support. Also, I walked through wet grass once and now they squeak even after completely being dry. Not sure if I'll buy again. I have to admit the toe room is amazing.

The spelling of Altra on the sole was a fail for the black shoes with white sole. The lettering and how it was formed on the sole consistently makes the shoe look dirty and pick up dirt easily. Runs / size small.

I had to return . Not enough toe box room. I have purchased from you last year. just can't get that same fit like before.

The toe box is a perfect width but the hight of the toe box is not deep enough which causes the shoe to put pressure on the top of the first and second toe. Uncomfortable fit.

All of the Aaltras i have bought have had a wider footbed. This is not the case with this shoe.

I was really hoping they would be the cure for my plantar fasciitis. I am a 6.5 and at first they felt comfortable. After wearing them for an hour, I started to notice how tight it was in the front (toe area). It's too small and uncomfortable for extended daily wear. They cost a lot of money so I'm not happy with the purchase.
