These shoes get most of their ware from walking dogs and BIG dogs at that. they have the best grip and ankle support. They aren't too high but a little higher than the other models. LOVE.

I bought these for casual wear and they're pretty good for that because they look good. I've already gotten a few compliments on them after just about a week. Now the not so good. They were very tight across the top of my feetthe area just below the laces closest to my toes. It was tight enough to be painful, and the rest of the fit is great. I wore them a lot for three painful days in the hope that they would stretch out, but they didn't at all. I was torn between returning them or just cutting a little slice through that area to relieve some pressure. They looked good and were comfortable enough so I sliced them; just one small slice on each shoe. Now they are actually wearable. You can see the slices of course, but it looks fine. In terms of overall comfort they're not as cushy as I'd hoped. I kinda hoped for a cloud like feel based on the thick soles but they're just a regular amount of cushioning, which is fine. These are the dangers of buying online without an opportunity to try them on first. But fit is so personal, you may not have that issue. If not, you'll love them. Overall it's a good shoe and looks great.

Great shoe for the outdoor. It is very stylish and feels good after a few miles in the woods. It's not waterproof but it is water resistant. It looks like its gonna last long and the toe box is not too loose or too tight.

Nice shoes, cool color, and are great for work. Like most high tops they don't breath great but still one of my favorite pairs of vans.

After buying the Vans UltraRange Neo VR3 - which I consider one of the best pairs of sneakers I've ever owned - I was unfortunately very disappointed with the Vans MTE Crosspath Mid. I've never needed shoes designed for wider feet or a high instep; that's not usually an issue for me. But in this model, the stitched internal overlay right at the beginning of the instep puts noticeable pressure on the foot. Unfortunately, the discomfort doesn't appear right away - it starts after you've been walking for a while. As a result, wearing this pair regularly just isn't possible. After about an hour-long walk, the discomfort in the transverse arch of my foot lingers for a couple of days. Loosening the laces and even replacing the original round laces with flat ones didn't really help. Aside from that, the Vans MTE Crosspath Mid look well-made and durable, and so far they do keep water out. However, I'll probably never find out how long that lasts, because I simply can't wear them.

I own many pairs of Vans, ordered my regular size and they were too small. Had to return.

I tried two different sizes and both times the fit was much too narrow for my wider foot. I tried wearing them for a whole day but couldn't stand my aching feet. The MTEs and slip on vans fit my foot great, not sure what changed here.

I was very disappointed because they were very small and could not wear them. So I had to return them. And I really wanted to love these shoes.
