These have been the first base-layer glove to keep my hands moderately warm even while wet. Especially when paired with another layer of glove, my hands were able to stay warm. With my Reynauds in my fingers, it is so difficult to find a good solution. Thanks Smartwool!

These fit great and come off your hands easily. You don't have to pull one finger at a time to take them off. Great as a liner but warm by themselves too.
Worth the $, you should buy these!

Nice for driving or under larger mittens. I like the longer length for cross country skiing.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
i like the simplicity of the style and the material is comfortable. but the new pair i received has some broken stitching with a small hole along the thumb which will easily become a larger hole after wearing, so i will be returning and reordering. hope the next pair has all seams intact.

I like to have small light pair of gloves that fit in my pockets without bulk, these gloves are perfect for that. They are warm too.

I use these gloves when I remove my snowboard gloves to stay warm, but more importantly dry! If you're hands are wet from sweating, they will get cold, but SmartWool products prevent that by not only wicking away unwanted moisture but they achieve this quickly and warmly!

Good for everyday wear, from texting to shoveling. They are also thin enough to layer under other gloves, for which I've used SW gloves for years.
and thank you for making blue and not just black like so many technical gloves.
I have a similar pair of Smartwool gloves with the wool lining and a smoother wind-resistant outer layer that I like even better.

I'm a cyclist. It's winter in the mountains. Bought them to pair with my winter gloves. They are do'n the job. Biked in 7 weather and my hands were warm last night. Love that they are longer too. I can pull my other gloves off for a quick check in with friends with our then coming off too.

I was pleasantly surprised at how warm they are even though they are very thin.

It's unfortunate that there are so many reviews of these gloves not being durable... they are built of 100% wool- not rip-stop nylon. Some people think that they can use these gloves under prolonged periods of duress like holding a leash for walking a dog or riding a bicycle, and then they complain that they get worn or torn and leave a less-than-stellar review. Let me tell you: these gloves are ultra warm for their weight ratio and I highly recommend them for everyday use like grocery shopping, driving a car, errands, etc. If you need to use them for high-tension activities, then they double as great glove liners inside of cheap, snow gloves that you can buy at any discount store. Bottom line: they're great. Put them inside of other gloves if you intend to abuse them.

This is my second pair of these gloves. I love them stand alone, or a a liner to my ski gloves. The floral print is sweet and colorful. The cell-phone tab on the finger works reasonably. My one suggestion would be to have a way to hook the gloves together for drawer storage. I've resorted to binder clips to keep thme together so I'm not searching my gear tub for and errant glove.

Base layer silky merino gloves of elegant perfection. Long cut, so wrists are covered completely. I want to wear them indoors like a diva.

I wear when driving or under other mittens. They're a nice base layer glove. Not super warm but aren't meant to be.

I use these as a thermal layer under my patrol gloves on colder days. They are so handy to keep my hands warm as I'm outside working the trails and need dexterity. Highly recommend

These gloves are an easy reach! Nice and light, thin, comfortable, soft and still warm. I've been wearing in moderately cold weather (-2-5 celsius) for runs with my merino base layers and they've been great!

I loved these gives when they finally came in and the color was perfect. I made a mistake and ordered the wrong size. The fingers were much too long. I will reorder.

The thermal merino glove is a wonderful lightweight glove that provides perfect warmth and protection. My hands get cold fast, so I toss a pair in my purse, and I always have something warm and elegant looking with me in the autumn and winter.
