This is a classic fleece vest, well tailored and well made, with good details. I had to exchange my original order, and Bean delivered. Time elapsed between when I dropped off the original at UPS and when the replacement arrived at my door was a total of ten days. Impressive product and impressive turnaround.

I love my mountain fleece vest. It's very comfortable and cozy. Perfect with a long sleeve shirt. It is very warm and lightweight. I bought an XL and it fits like it was made for me. (I'm 5ft,160 lbs.). It washes well. It's worth the price.

This is a very comfortable, warm vest. The color is beautiful, fabric is soft and breathable, washes well, lovely in all aspects. I purchased another one in the navy blue. Very happy with both vests.

I bought this vest in a Medium-Petite for our August trip to Canada, and I wore it all of the time. It was the perfect weight to layer for the cool days and evenings. I will also layer it as we go into fall in the midwest. I want another, but I'd like a neutral off white to go with more tops. Could you offer it in a neutral color?

This is a lovely vest. Very well made and it's nice looking. However it is not the one I am looking for so I will be returning it.

I was very thankful to see LLBean return to carrying a fleece vest like this!!! Well made, nice sporty styling but not too much so, Detail stitching and cord pulls add a unique touch and the brown pulls make even a navy vest go with brown tones! I am perfectly happy to have the LLB patch on it as I don't wear it for "dress up." I am delighted with this vest and wear it almost every day. It washes perfectly! Hope LLB never stops making fleece vests of this type again in more color choices (ex. cream, Khaki, Chambray blue) NOW, if only they would return to making REAL BAYSIDE CORDUROY PANTS!!!! (Classic cut straight leg please! :). Thank you LLBean for my new fleece vest!

I needed a layer that was casual (I work in an elementary school) but not to warm (jackets and cardigans make me sweat). This was perfect. The color was true, the fit was perfect (I did return a large first because it was too small I'm an awkward size!) and I loved wearing it so much I bought another. Living in cold New England climate with drafty old buildings makes this kind of layer a must. Love this and will probably buy more in different colors.

I love this vest! It is very plush fleece, warm, great navy blue color. The medium is slightly loose in the waist. The zipper is heavy duty and zips up easily. The collar is a little stiff and naturally stands up, but will also lay down. The only thing I would change is the logo! I prefer an understated LLBean monogram at the hem.

It is soft and comfy, I wish it had a zipper pocket for my phone but otherwise, I am enjoying it.

Perfect spring, fall and winter vest. I especially liked that this isn't a bulky puffer vest and that the fabric is a smooth fleece. Fits well under jackets or worn alone. I got the black and my only complaint is the bright orange zipper pulls but they are easily removed and can be replaced with another cord of your choice.

Given that I live in Tucson, I really didn't expect to use it till next fall, but it really fills the bill on chilly mornings. Very versatile, and much easier on and off than fleece jackets, which stick to your clothes!

This vest is made with durable material. One can wear it in the coldest weather and it will keep one warm. Like the tags on the zipper and pockets, makes it easy to open the vest and pockets.

Cozy warm mid weight fleece. I gave it a 4 only because the black is not pure black. Well made.

Nice weight fleece. 5 stars if you had included a zip chest pocket on the outside or a zip pocket on the inside. Also, I am not a fan of the big green logo patch right on the front of this vest. Otherwise, what I was looking for as an extra layer for every day casual activities. Wish you had not changed the old llbean vests to such thin fleece material. I have bought several of these over the years, but the thin material is not worth it now.

Blue color is a dark blue that is pretty neutral in tone. Fleece is medium weight, and fabric moves well. Useful for when you want a touch of warmth. Or an additional set of pockets. Functional more than pretty.

I ordered the vest for a land trip to Alaska. Somehow the post office didn't get it here till i was on my trip. Looks good and i'll keep it.

Like this vest but wish it was three inches longer

Good for wearing to keep me warm but easy to remove when no longer need it.

Like the fit of the vest, but felt the material was too hefty. I took the gold zipper pulls off, because they were too gaudy.

Fits as expected. It is made of recycled material which is environmentally sound and felt harsh on first wearing. However, it soon softened and feels similar to one I purchased 10 years ago. It has a slightly felted appearance but I'm willing to accept that for the benefit of recycling.

This vest appeared to be of good quality. I liked the fabric and its appearance. However, like some other reviewers, I found that the fit was not quite right for me as there were unsightly gaps at the armholes. I am returning my order.

A comfortable vest. Provides warmth. There's nothing wrong with it. I'd just like something with a boost in color or design
