So glad to see the return of the Mountain Classic Fleece after its absence of many years!! I bought both the purple and the teal. The fleece is soft and thick enough for spring/fall, or for layering during the winter. The cut is different than the old ones- longer and slightly shaped. Im 57 and 137 lbs - size small fit me beautifully with room to wear a cashmere sweater underneath comfortably. I hated that Bean put an obnoxious logo on the chest rather than the matching thread one that used to be on the bottom hem. That said, the logo label was easily removed with a sharp set of nail scissors (see picture). Im confident that no one will even notice that. I also removed the cords on the pulls of the three zippers (they looked like bits of boot lace) for a slightly dressier look. A few minutes work in all, but as a result I am very pleased!! PS- the colors are true to the ones online, rather than those in my photo.

Love this jacket- I use it for work, walk or just stay warm. Low maintenance and so practical!

Horrible cut.. not sure whats up w/the box frump cut trending so heavily but Id love to see classic fit not too long, not too short, or wide, fitted come back (yes! Im a gen-x!) I was also hopeful of a more substantial weight fleece and please lose the blatant chest logo and the weird zip pulls.

This is my second of these cozy jackets. I like that they are made of 60+% recycled material. The two colors I have are very pretty. They fit well, loose enough to put over a shirt or light sweater, but still look semi-fitted. And, the sleeves are long enough for me, even though I often wear a tall size. I pair them with a 1/4 zip, thumb loop shirt and an outer layer, for early morning walks or cool weather bike rides and they keep me cozy warm. Also wear them as a jacket when it isn't so cold.

Can the LL BEAN PATCH BE REMOVED? It spoils the jacket design. Or can it be embroidered very very small?

The jacket is fine EXCEPT it is a woman's jacket with a zipper for a man's jacket! I would have returned it if we had not been enduring the pandemic. I would suggest you telephone before ordering to determine if the jacket will have a zipper for a woman's jacket. I have purchased other zipper jackets from L.L. Bean and they always had the correct zipper. Very disappointed!

This jacket feels warm and comfy now that I have the right size. I had to size up one.

I am very pleased with my new fleece jacket. It is ever so slightly fitted and gives it a little shape, which is great! It is perfect for a little warmth or for layering.

I am so glad you brought back the regular LLBean fleece jacket. I have been waiting for it. Would sure love to see the brown color again.

It is of good quality and the fit is perfect. It suddenly became very cold in northern Iowa, so will become an indoor item for sitting and reading.

Thick, soft, warm. Only I thing dont like is the logo on the chest. If you have to have it, move it to a less prominent spot. Or better yet get rid of the outside logo labels please!

I love the Mountain Fleece jackets, and have 5 of them! They are expensive, but worth it for fall. They look nice with jeans or dress pants. I really like the adjustable bottom. Med regular.. Im 53 and 135 lb.

Great jacket, got it in charcoal grey color. Very soft and warmer than I expected. Love the drawstrings on the bottom to adjust for a closer fit. Im 52 and 126 lbs - the small fit perfect. May get one in another color some day - would like to see more color options.

The mountain classic fleece medium fit me well with enough room for a heavy shirt or sweater underneath. It kept me comfortably warm on our trip to the Smokies with lows in the low 40s to 65 later in the day. The zip pockets were deep enough for my iPhone, gloves and Kleenex. I loved the grey color which was a charcoal grey. I feel I will get lots of use out of this jacket. I am 52 130 lbs.

Great fleece jacket! It's thick and warm, with a slightly fitted look to it. It's very comfy and attractive for a leisurely jacket. It has zippered pockets and a drawstring to tighten it along the bottom. The pull tabs on the zippers are a nice touch.

Color is beautiful. Warm and toasty. Love the monogramming with my name, artfully done.

material seems less plush than what I expect from a good fleece and the size is a bit big.

I was a bit disappointed in the texture and the thinness of the jacket.compared to other fleece jackets I own. I am hoping it is good in the cold.
