My shoes came within a few days. I love the shoes, but I am a size 8 and a half and a nine is pretty loose. The buckles are very stiff also. But I have wanted these shoes for a long time and overall I really like them.

I've wanted these for awhile (rocking the funky suburban mom look), but when I broke my ankle and I needed something to accommodate my ankle brace, these were perfect -- supportive, comfortable, and adorable, which is something my sneakers are not. Plus, my 4 year old and I match when she wears her English sandals.

I had to purchase these shoes for my daughter as it is the required uniform shoe of her school. They are very durable and she tells me they are very comfortable. She has been wearing daily for a month and says they are the most comfortable shoes she owns. Zappos shipped and delivered these to me quickly. I had them in less than one week.

I have been wearing Dr Martens 8065 for about eight years. These are really comfortable shoes. I also have the Dr Martens 3AO4 shoes which are slightly different than the 8065s These they do not make any them any more. They are lighter than the 8065s.

I got these for my wife and she loves them. There's a short break-in period that comes along with any pair of Dr. Martens but after that, they'll last forever! I have several pair myself and I'm trying to convince her to get some boots, too!

These shoes are really adorable and I get a lot of compliments when I wear them. The wear well and are roomy enough to accommodate a thicker sock. I am able to wear them to work, where I am on my feet moving around eight hours a day, and still find them comfortable at the end of the day. These are truly a great shoe!

The shoe is great. Very comfortable. Does run on larger sizing. I usually wear an eight and a half to nine. I purchased the size eights and the fit was perfect. Quick delivery. I am very happy with my purchase.

I just acquired a vintage pair of this excellent style. I totally wanted a pair of these in high school in the late 90's, but never could afford them! My shoe size is between 6 1/2 and 7 US. In the 1990's English-made Docs, I always wore a UK5. The pair I just got is the same size, and it's a little too big, while UK4 English-made Docs are definitely too small. In the new Asian-made Docs, of which the pictured shoe is an example, I easily fit into the UK4. So if you're looking to replace your 1990's favorite maryjanes, you should probably go down a size from what you used to wear. Any Dr. Martens shoe is so comfy once broken in, it's worth suffering a bit for a few days!

These are timeless shoes, I\'ve been wearing this style for 10 years, comfortable, durable, classic. I only had to replace them as the sole wore down or the back of the shoe got smushed in because I was too lazy to unbuckle it. I\'ll probably keep wearing them for life because they are so timeless and comfy!

These are the best shoes if you have bad knees! The soles make walking a dream even if you do not have trouble. They are stylish, comfortable and very good quality leather. I get many compliments. They also slip right on with a shoe horn; no need to unbuckle each time.Also getting a pair in brown. I love these shoes they are going to be great for walking in Europe. Be sure to wear at home the first few days, but really felt great right on.

I'm a 9.5/10 in shoes. Size 9 fit me perfect. I adore these shoes. You can never go wrong with Mary Janes. I primary bought these for work. I work in a business casual environment. I can’t do regular flats, I need something to arch support, and these are awesome in support. I had a pair of these years ago but were lost in transit when I flew across the country, thus I bought a brand spankin' new pair. :)

I have purchased Dr. Martens for 10 - 12 years. I have owned at least 4 pair of these particular shoes and loved each pair. They do need to be broken in a little, but are then very comfortable and give good support. I stand on my feet all day so I need a well built shoe. I ordered these shoes at 4:30 PM on a Tuesday and they were at my front door the next morning, with no delivery charge. Can't beat the service!

I\'ve had these shoes for about 7 years now and I still love them. They\'re cute, comfy and go great with jeans on the weekend or slacks at the office. I wear a size US 8, and these fit me in the UK 6.

I bought these shoes in 1995, and had it not been for the birth of my son and the growth of my feet, I'd still be wearing them today! These shoes were hard to buy as a poor college student, took a chunk of my paycheck, but have proven to be worth EVERY PENNY!! They have held up so well, stood by me during my pregnancy, but didn't grow with my feet afterward! My favorite shoe of all time!

These are fabulous after the break-in period. After a summer of Birkenstock sandals, my feet were very resistant to "enclosed" shoes. I needed something with good stability, cute, and professional so I could wear them to work. These fit the bill! I had to order two different sizes to try, as they run in whole sizes only, and I ended up sizing down rather than up. There is some break-in required, but I didn't have any real blister issues, just some stiffness in the shoe for a while. They are comfortable for walking, and I recently had to walk across my old college campus in them without any issues at all. Since they are Docs, I know they will last forever and take good care of my feet! Oh, the buckles are very hard to do and undo, so I leave the top one alone.

We need more styles and vendors for these great shoes! This red pair rocks! They are true to size and a little bit wider, for us "big-footed" people. Zappos did have the best deal; I know this because I shopped around.

I am an 8.5 in dress shoes usually so based on all the reviews I went down one size to US 7 and it did seem a half size small then what I needed them to be.
My toes were right at the edge but I just needed a half size more to be comfortable and these are only whole sizes. So I bought a shoe stretcher from Amazon and stretched them a bit. Now they are perfect and now feel more comfortable overall because it also softened the leather by doing that. If I had bought a US 8 that would have been too big. I also have narrow low arch feet if that helps. I've been coveting these for awhile so happy I got them!

This is my 2nd pair of these. I had a pair for about six years prior.
They do last a while.
I realized that I’d been wearing them all wrong, which is why they didn’t feel all the way comfortable. The buckles used to squeeze my high insteps the last time I wore them in.
Tights or lighter weight socks are always the way to go with these. They now feel EXACTLY like my 1460 boots, complete with the bouncy footbed.

I was very surprised at the fit. I'm usually a 6 1/2 so I typically go with a 7 because I wear thick socks. But wow these were big big. I went down to a 6 and there was still room even with my thick socks. The shoe was moving on my heel and I knew if I wore them like that all day I would end up with a blister. I have to send these back (I'm so sad ) they are super cute. I would suggest going into a store and trying them on!
