I just got the Divide 5 sneakers and they are great! The cushioning, especially in the heel makes me feel like Im walking on air. So far, Ive only had the chance to use them indoors during regular daily life, running after littles, but I am excited to try them out soon on some walking trails.
The fabric is a little tight but breathable, definitely important in the hot summer days. They are a little bulky as far as sneakers go but overall, solid, comfortable, and pretty too!

Overall, these are fantastic versatile shoes. Not only are they easily adaptable from jogging on a rocky trail to a paved path, but I love the fun color option. I am all about a functional running shoe that makes a statement! Aside from that, I am also a busy toddler mom on the go. I am constantly running around on grass, to mulch, to rocks you name it. I love that these shoes work well for a "me time" run but also offer me support on my daily activities. One important side note is that I normally wear a size 10, but wish I would have gotten a 10.5 as they are a bit snug.

These shoes unfortunately do not fit me well and are too tight. I am a true 9 and they fit too small. I own a few pairs of brooks and the other styles fit me perfect so I think it could possibly be this specific style. They do have an amazing amount of cushion when I step. The tread is PERFECT for trail walking and some light jogging. The style and design is cute I love the bright pink soles. The fabric feels light and airy. I wish I could use them but the fit is too small for me. What I like most about this shoe would be the color I like the navy blue so they wont show as much dirt and can pair with any outfit. If I could change one thing it would be to make them a little roomier.

Fit and Feel:
The Brooks Divide 5 offers a snug and comfortable fit. The cushioning is ample, along with a lot of arch support.
Design:
The design of the Brooks Divide 5 is both functional and stylish. It has a rugged aesthetic appropriate for trail running, with a sleek silhouette that can transition well to casual wear. The shoe's outsole pattern enhances traction.
Fabric:
The fabric used is a mix of breathable mesh and durable. The fabrics offers good ventilation to keep feet cool while maintaining durability. The fabric also dries quickly, which is beneficial for wet or muddy conditions.
What I Liked Most:
The standout feature of the Brooks Divide 5 is its excellent traction and stability on various terrains. The grippy outsole and balanced cushioning is great for trails and uneven surfaces.
What I Would Change:
One potential area for improvement is the availability of wider sizing options. Offering a wide version of the Brooks Divide 5 would cater to runners with wider feet, enhancing comfort and reducing the risk of blisters or discomfort on long runs.
Overall, the Brooks Divide 5 is a well-rounded trail running shoe that offers a good balance of comfort, protection, and traction, making it a solid choice for running and everyday wear.

The Brooks Divide 5 has style for regular road running but also offers enough grip for trail runs. You can tell the shoe is sturdy and well-made.
The insole is average; it's comfortable and provides enough cushion for support. The midsole offered sufficient shock absorbency during my neighborhood run on the pavement and did not feel heavy. It also performed well on a light trail run through the woods on my property, which has light gravel and packed clay dirt. I did not experience any slipping due to a lack of traction. However, its probably not a shoe for heavy trail running.
The toe box is average but could be a little bigger in my opinion, or the shoe could possibly be made with a wide option. My toes felt okay for the most part, but I don't think I can handle prolonged periods in this shoe because it would cause friction from being a little small.
The tip reinforcement is excellent, with a good, thick, protective covering in case you bump or scrape any sides during your run. You wont have to worry about the fabric tearing since there is good reinforcement protection.
Overall, the Brooks Divide 5 is the best of both worlds for pavement and light trails. The shoe is probably better suited for a neutral stride runner.

The Brooks Divide 5 women's shoe offers an incredible fit that feels like it was made just for your foot. The support and cushioning are spot-on, providing comfort for both short jogs and long-distance runs. The heel and arch support stand out, giving you the stability you need and reducing tiredness during those longer sessions. The fit is true to size, with plenty of room in the toe box to avoid any pinching or rubbing.
Design-wise, these shoes hit the mark with a sleek, modern look and vibrant color options that cater to various tastes. The reflective elements are a thoughtful addition, enhancing visibility for those early morning or late evening runs. The outsole's tread pattern is perfect for gripping different surfaces, making these shoes versatile for both road and trail running.
The fabric is another strong point. It's breathable and lightweight, keeping your feet cool and dry even during intense workouts. The durable upper mesh material resists wear and tear, ensuring the shoes last. Plus, it provides a snug fit without feeling too tight, allowing natural movement and flexibility.
What I liked most about the Brooks Divide 5 is the overall comfort and support. The cushioning system is excellent at absorbing impact, making each step feel light and smooth. The breathable fabric and stylish design are definite bonuses that enhance the overall experience. However, I would suggest an improvement for the laces, as they tend to come undone more easily than expected, which can be a bit annoying during runs. A slight tweak to the lace design or material could fix this minor issue.
Overall, the Brooks Divide 5 women's shoe is a fantastic choice for runners looking for comfort, support, and style. It performs well in various running environments and looks great too. With a few minor adjustments, it could be even better, but it's already an excellent investment for any runner.

Love the look of this shoe! The pink really pops. It fits super snug and is breathable. It gives me that kind of rocking back and forth feeling that makes it nice for running, but also day to day makes me feel like Im doing something more than just walking around.
The biggest issue is the back did give me blisters so I have been breaking them in while wearing taller socks and/or bandaids.

My husband has been a Brooks running shoe user for a while, though this has been my first pair to see if I'll like them as much as he does. So far, I really do. As I put them on the first time and moved around, I could feel a firm support in all the right areas, to take pressure off my feet. I have been testing them out running along the paved road and nature trails around our neighborhood. I was surprised at how breathable they feel, even in the humidity. They wick the moisture away particularly well. With the cushioned support, my feet definitely feel less fatigued from hitting the trail after I'm done, and I am encouraged to push a bit farther for an enhanced workout. I've had a very positive experience, and hope these will last a long while. Plus, they just look great on me!

These have to be one of my favorite athletic shoes to date! They fit just perfect, not too snug not too loose. They are truly perfect for all kinds of training, although I use these primarily for all terrain training, I would just as easily take these to the gym. They have a nice thick sole but are light, they dont feel heavy or chunky at all. They feel nice and have a grippy bottoms without feeling unstable. I would definitely recommend these for all kinds of activities, from going to the park with kids, to running terrain, to hiking an easy trail!

Had hoped they would be wider but it's not Brooks' fault. I just need to stick with models that come in wide width. Returning was easy peasy.

Nice shoe, but it didn't work for me. I started having Knee issues. If it had a little support it might have worked.

Sadly, I believe I will be returning these. I had thought a hybrid runner would be appropriate for an upcoming trip that includes walking on the Camino de Santiago. Good support and a lightly lugged sole for the trail. I have been wearing these around town and out on walks for a few weeks and just can not like them. And I really think I would be miserable wearing these on the Camino. Maybe I'm too used to the soft cushiness of my Ghost Max. Or maybe I should consider another brand. I plan a trip to my local running store later this week to see.

I love my Brooks Ghost 16 shoes but I got these for frosty winter runs. The sole on these have great grip but are a bit stiff in the center front under the ball of the foot, so I get numb toes after a long run. I don't have that issue with the ghosts.

Been wearing Divides hiking for years since Divide 2. Wore this pair on a short hikes and it felt fine. Then did a longer hike and my left heel started to rub. When I took them off- the back of the shoe where the heel is rubbing feels like it has an extra piece of plastic in it and the material was already started to wear down. Unfortunately, my heel blistered and was rubbed raw (even through Darn Tough socks). Very disappointed. Hoping it was just a fluke with this pair. I am returning for refund. Appreciate that the return policy will cover me in this instance. Made me sad because I love the shoe and coloring.
