The width was a bit to tight and unfortunately it's not available in wide. The sneaker is super nice looking otherwise.

I had surgery in both my feet for bunions and 2nd toe correction, and I was suggested I try Brooks sneakers because of their many sizing and widths options available. This particular style looks great, feels pretty good except that I'm going to try a wider size as I feel I need the little extra room towards the front of the foot. Love the look & design and does seem like a very comfortable fit.

These sneakers are comfortable except for the toe area. I would prefer all material instead of the hard plastic across the front. Would be so much better if they were all material on top.I have 2 pairs and both are not comfortable for long walks.

I love my Brooks Ghost 16 shoes but I got these for frosty winter runs. The sole on these have great grip but are a bit stiff in the center front under the ball of the foot, so I get numb toes after a long run. I dont have that issue with the ghosts.

They initially fit great and had really grippy soles. But when I wore them to walk, about halfway into my 3 miles, my ball of my feet started burning and I was in pain. The burning lasted about an hour or so once o arrived home.

This shoe checks all the boxes for my narrow, flat feet: good support, cushioning, and traction.

I really like the versatility of the Divide as so many of my local trails are paved but have some fun off shoots thru the woods where I appreciate the better traction.

Great trail shoe! I bought these to replace my old Divide 5s which had Gore-tex water proofing. My new Divides do not have Gore-tex (which was my fault for not paying attention) and I really miss it! This shoe feels springy and light, fits nicely with my foot shape, and gives me that forward assist that I prefer with running/walking shoes. I use these for trail hiking and walking in adverse Michigan weather. I will really miss the Gore-tex in the spring! However, I am keeping the shoes because I like the fit, colorway, and performance in drier conditions. Also, no break in period needed (which I can't say for the Gore-tex version!).

I usually love all my Brooks sneakers but these are the worst Ive bought. Shotty material, hurts my pinky toes. I always wear the same size/width but these are very uncomfortable.

I really wanted to love these. The tread and the cushion were very nice but they gave me really bad foot pain each run. I gave them a few tries and ended up with terrible foot and toe blisters. Possibly because they were too narrow. I would have loved to exchange and try out a wide size because Brooks are typically the best but they are very selective on the shoes they offer wide sizes. Unfortunately the other types of shoes are not ideal for my foot as well as all terrain like I need. Brooks please start offering wider sizes in all of your shoes, it will make a world of difference for a lot of people.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are lightweight, flexible, and can go the distance. They are wide enough, but I like to size up a half size for trail running so on the downhill they have wiggle room. I am normally an 8 and sized up to 8.5 for the sake of trail running. They are breathable, and have great arch support. I find I dont pronate as much as I usually do in other shoes. Great traction too!

My first impression when opening the box was I loved the color combination and they looked hearty so I was worried about the weight of them. To my surprise, they are SO lightweight while still being supportive. Lately I've been wearing them when walking, running, lifting in our garage and keeping up with the kids. I'm surprised at how durable they are despite being super light. My feet are recovering from cracked heels from living in sandals, so this has been extremely healing for them to wear these sneakers instead. Also, my kids are into a lot of water play right now and the sneakers are super breathable giving them the ability to get wet, but dry-out quickly.... a totally bonus for my lifestyle!

I really enjoy these shoes! This is my first pair of trail runners and I appreciate that they have all the support and reinforcement I was looking for while still being responsive and breathable. Some trail shoes that I tried felt more like cleats than joggers, and I wanted a shoe that could flex into whatever I happened to be doing that day. These were the perfect middle ground. I even wore them to a HIIT class and they felt pretty good, and definitely gave me some extra traction for sled pushes.

I have trouble finding shoes that fit me so I am glad I came across these Brooks to continue purchasing them as a workout, running, and casual shoe. I am not normally one to wear running shoes out and about as I am running errands or at work. However, these were so comfortable and cute enough to wear with more casual outfits. The fit and feel were perfect for me. They seemed to fit just right. I have a smaller foot, so I'm not certain that I am the best judge. The feel of the shoe is super cushioned and comfy. I feel like my foot is very supported all around and I have yet to experience and pain even when walking long distances around town. Overall, I think these shoes have a great design with durable fabric and are extra comfortable and supportive. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a running or workout shoe.

The Divide 5 is perfect for trail running or even casual hiking. I do some off road running and they provided much better traction for my run. I am running cautiously after a torn meniscus so they help with the stability needed on uneven ground. I will be using for short hikes this summer too, because they are comfortable and good for short excursions. They are a bit overkill for the gym or sidewalks/road running. I'd prefer something with less grip, but perfect for gravel, rocks, uneven dirt, etc.
