Very comfortable for my long walks and also works well when I walk in wet grass keeping my feet dry. They are just what I wanted. These were recommended to me by customer service at Brooks after trying the Ghost 16 GTX which gave me terrific hip and back pain. None of that with these. Thanks.

Definitely waterproof. Like all, they get sweaty and stinky because they dont breathe. Comfortable after about 5 mile break in. The biggest problem is the traction feels slippery on concrete/tile when wet. I bought them for wet city walking so that doesnt work- Ill be returning them.

So I was looking for shoes to take on a trip to Tennessee in the cold weather and snow. These shoes have been nothing but great during my trip. They are truly waterproof and held up very well on a trail walk. They are also very comfortable.

Just bought these yesterday. The toe area is a little narrow and the sole of the shoe is uncomfortable. Granted I don't wear brooks to run in most of the time but they are generally comfortable in any situation. Mostly bought for the waterproof aspect but will probably replace with a different shoe

Versatile - great for working in cold storage, walking through puddles and snow. Might be a bit too warm for warm weather but great for cool/cold.

These are my 4th pair of Brooks and by far my least favorite. They run about a 1/2 size larger than my other Brooks, which may be why after 3 weeks my feet still hurt. I'm a delivery driver and I'm running all day I bought these because they are waterproof but I wished I would have stayed with the Walker. The shoes are good quality, but my feet hurt after work, I will continue to buy Brooks products just not this one.

First things first. The shoes are highly comfortable, and I love them. Below, my evaluations are provided for both great stuff and somethings things I find could be better. Fit and Feel: These shoes tend to run slightly small (only slightly, on the right leg, with toe- that's just it. otherwise, fit well), but overall, they fit well once adjusted. During runs, I occasionally felt my right toe touching the inside layer, which required some attention to ensure comfort. The cushioning is excellent, providing great support especially when lifting weights. They felt fantastic during gym sessions, and the cushioning made running on the treadmill and walking on hard surfaces much more comfortable. Design: The design is appealing, although they appear bulkier than they actually feel. The shoes are well-designed for aeration, allowing for good airflow to keep your feet cool during intense workouts. Fabric: The fabric used is generally satisfactory. However, I wasn't particularly fond of the shoelacesthey have a plastic-like feel when tying, which detracts from the overall comfort. What I Liked Most & What I Would Change: The standout feature for me is the cushioning; it genuinely made walking and exercising easier on my ankles, hindfoot/heel, and joints. If I could make improvements, I would opt for better-quality laces and incorporate more reflective material to enhance safety during nighttime runs or walks. Overall Impression: These shoes offer excellent comfort and support, making them a great choice for both gym workouts and everyday activities. With minor tweaks to the laces and added reflectivity, they would be nearly perfect for fitness enthusiasts.

Great running shoes, as always from Brooks. My first day out I stepped in a couple big puddles. The waterproofing works. Good fit, good service, good company. I recently began my 49th year as a runner and my third year as a Brooks Running Company customer. I'm her for life.

It has been a very wet summer where I am, and normally this would mean that trail runs are miserable and end up with wet feet. These shoes are amazing for it! It keep my feet dry and comfortable, even when running through puddles of water. I didnt have to slow down to navigate around and waste precious time on my run. I will continue to wear these and look forward to trying them when its cold outside!

I thought the fit and feel of the Divide 5 GTX running shows were spot on because after wearing them and using them in my running regimen, the shoes were gripping onto whatever platform I was running on, be it grass, concrete, or even mountainous terrain. I thought the thick rubber exterior soles also protected against rainy or slippery conditions and helped me to gain traction better without feeling like they were boots. I thought the design of the Divide 5 GTX was rather aerodynamic, almost like they were designed to work either with or against the wind. It's sleek and sporty, but doesn't detract from the comfortable aspects of the shoes. The fabric of these shoes are rugged feeling on the exterior, but rather plush and molded to fit the size of my feet. I usually wear a size 9.5 M (male) so after wearing them, it wicked away the interior moisture and keeping my feet dry and able to circulate air around them as well. I liked the comfortable aspect the most while wearing these shoes because they didn't feel like any special running type of shoes and that's what enabled me to enjoy using this pair of running shoes. If I could change one thing about these shoes, it would be to have deeper grooves both around and on the bottom exterior soles so to better grip whatever terrain an individual were using them on. But I won't detract any star ratings because the manufacturer of these shoes has done a stellar job at trying to balance sporty, comfort, style, and moisture wick technology all into one fine pair of running shoes. I have no qualms about recommending these shoes to anyone because they definitely make you feel comfortable and in style! I have a feeling that these shoes will continue to feel and work even better the more I use them and I'm looking forward to running, jogging, or even walking with them as they are my new "go-to" shoes for being out and about!

The Divide 5 GTX Brooks running shoe is a fantastic addition to my gear. The sleek black design is both stylish and versatile. They fit perfectly true to size, offering excellent comfort right out of the box. Additionally, they're incredibly lightweight, making my runs feel effortless. These have quickly become my new favorite shoes for both their performance and aesthetic. Highly recommend!

I recently received my Divide 5 GTX shoes and I have been wearing them everyday since I got them. Even brand new these shoes fit my feet like a glove. My feet do not move from side to side when I run, nor do they move up and down. My foot stays supported and cushioned through my entire run. I love the material of this shoe, if I have to run of course into a gravel or dirt round I feel confident that I will not loose traction or roll an ankle. I have been training to run a 30K race and these shoes have been amazing. I figured with a new shoe I might get a couple blisters or need to break them in but these have been comfortable since day one. If you are on the hunt for a good running shoe I highly recommend this one. I have several different running shoes from this brand but so far this shoe is the my go to. 5/5. I highly recommend it.

I love these shoes I have bought two past pairs of the same brand and they hold up really well for running, walking, gardening/yard work, chasing and playing with my young kids and being on my feet all day working in all conditions. Theyre great for indoor and outdoor use. Theyre extremely supportive and comfortable, and I know the quality holds up to an active lifestyle. My feet are wide so I prefer their wide fit.

I have really enjoyed these shoes for the past few weeks! I have been wearing black Divide 5 GTX size 9.5 and I feel like they run true to size. My feet run wider and my shoes usually run in the range of 9.5-10.5 depending on the manufacturer. Considering these are running shoes I chose the lower end of the spectrum at 9.5 and I probably should have chosen a half size larger due to the narrower toe box for wider feet. I would suggest if you have wider feet, choose a half size larger than your wider toe box shoes to give your feet more room to expand. I have run in these shoes and walked in wet conditions and the Goretex seems to perform very well. I would absolutely recommend these shoes. They are durable and I really like that the black color keeps dirt and debris less visible and keeps them looking cleaner for longer!

I use this shoe for absolutely everything. Its my daily shoe and I make sure to even wear them at work because theyre that good. Ive never had a good shoe like this one. Everything has been just basic, but this one is special. I do have a little wider foot as well as a lower arch which requires me to need more cushion. I felt this acclimated to me perfectly. Fit: The fit of the shoe takes a little bit of time to adjust, but once it does it feels perfect. The cushion and fabric used make for a very comfortable shoe overall. Design: The design isnt apparent on the black shoe model which I dont mind. It looks like any other work shoe which I need for my work. Which is a huge plus because I can use it for hiking, walking, running and work! Fabric: The fabric is amazing against the ankles or portions that arent covered by a short sock. I dont find myself irritating my skin. The best feature to me were the shoelaces. This feature is lacking in many other shoes where they often come undone. However, this shoe fabric used makes it so difficult for it to come apart. Some improvements: I would change the tongue length. It was just a bit too short for my liking, but I got over that relatively quickly. Nonetheless this is an exceptional shoe. It is definitely worth to have in rotation as it wears many hats. Im appreciative of the comfortability.
