It has been a very wet summer where I am, and normally this would mean that trail runs are miserable and end up with wet feet. These shoes are amazing for it! It keep my feet dry and comfortable, even when running through puddles of water. I didnt have to slow down to navigate around and waste precious time on my run. I will continue to wear these and look forward to trying them when its cold outside!

I thought the fit and feel of the Divide 5 GTX running shows were spot on because after wearing them and using them in my running regimen, the shoes were gripping onto whatever platform I was running on, be it grass, concrete, or even mountainous terrain. I thought the thick rubber exterior soles also protected against rainy or slippery conditions and helped me to gain traction better without feeling like they were boots. I thought the design of the Divide 5 GTX was rather aerodynamic, almost like they were designed to work either with or against the wind. It's sleek and sporty, but doesn't detract from the comfortable aspects of the shoes. The fabric of these shoes are rugged feeling on the exterior, but rather plush and molded to fit the size of my feet. I usually wear a size 9.5 M (male) so after wearing them, it wicked away the interior moisture and keeping my feet dry and able to circulate air around them as well.
I liked the comfortable aspect the most while wearing these shoes because they didn't feel like any special running type of shoes and that's what enabled me to enjoy using this pair of running shoes. If I could change one thing about these shoes, it would be to have deeper grooves both around and on the bottom exterior soles so to better grip whatever terrain an individual were using them on. But I won't detract any star ratings because the manufacturer of these shoes has done a stellar job at trying to balance sporty, comfort, style, and moisture wick technology all into one fine pair of running shoes. I have no qualms about recommending these shoes to anyone because they definitely make you feel comfortable and in style! I have a feeling that these shoes will continue to feel and work even better the more I use them and I'm looking forward to running, jogging, or even walking with them as they are my new "go-to" shoes for being out and about!

The Divide 5 GTX Brooks running shoe is a fantastic addition to my gear. The sleek black design is both stylish and versatile. They fit perfectly true to size, offering excellent comfort right out of the box. Additionally, they're incredibly lightweight, making my runs feel effortless. These have quickly become my new favorite shoes for both their performance and aesthetic. Highly recommend!

I recently received my Divide 5 GTX shoes and I have been wearing them everyday since I got them. Even brand new these shoes fit my feet like a glove. My feet do not move from side to side when I run, nor do they move up and down. My foot stays supported and cushioned through my entire run. I love the material of this shoe, if I have to run of course into a gravel or dirt round I feel confident that I will not loose traction or roll an ankle. I have been training to run a 30K race and these shoes have been amazing. I figured with a new shoe I might get a couple blisters or need to break them in but these have been comfortable since day one. If you are on the hunt for a good running shoe I highly recommend this one. I have several different running shoes from this brand but so far this shoe is the my go to. 5/5. I highly recommend it.

I love these shoes I have bought two past pairs of the same brand and they hold up really well for running, walking, gardening/yard work, chasing and playing with my young kids and being on my feet all day working in all conditions. Theyre great for indoor and outdoor use. Theyre extremely supportive and comfortable, and I know the quality holds up to an active lifestyle. My feet are wide so I prefer their wide fit.

I have really enjoyed these shoes for the past few weeks! I have been wearing black Divide 5 GTX size 9.5 and I feel like they run true to size. My feet run wider and my shoes usually run in the range of 9.5-10.5 depending on the manufacturer. Considering these are running shoes I chose the lower end of the spectrum at 9.5 and I probably should have chosen a half size larger due to the narrower toe box for wider feet.
I would suggest if you have wider feet, choose a half size larger than your wider toe box shoes to give your feet more room to expand.
I have run in these shoes and walked in wet conditions and the Goretex seems to perform very well.
I would absolutely recommend these shoes. They are durable and I really like that the black color keeps dirt and debris less visible and keeps them looking cleaner for longer!

I use this shoe for absolutely everything. Its my daily shoe and I make sure to even wear them at work because theyre that good. Ive never had a good shoe like this one. Everything has been just basic, but this one is special. I do have a little wider foot as well as a lower arch which requires me to need more cushion. I felt this acclimated to me perfectly.
Fit: The fit of the shoe takes a little bit of time to adjust, but once it does it feels perfect. The cushion and fabric used make for a very comfortable shoe overall.
Design: The design isnt apparent on the black shoe model which I dont mind. It looks like any other work shoe which I need for my work. Which is a huge plus because I can use it for hiking, walking, running and work!
Fabric: The fabric is amazing against the ankles or portions that arent covered by a short sock. I dont find myself irritating my skin.
The best feature to me were the shoelaces. This feature is lacking in many other shoes where they often come undone. However, this shoe fabric used makes it so difficult for it to come apart.
Some improvements: I would change the tongue length. It was just a bit too short for my liking, but I got over that relatively quickly.
Nonetheless this is an exceptional shoe. It is definitely worth to have in rotation as it wears many hats. Im appreciative of the comfortability.

The Divide 5 GTX by Brooks is an exceptional choice for trail running. The GORE-TEX upper effectively keeps feet dry in wet conditions while allowing for breathability. The midsole provides adaptive cushioning that makes running on varied terrains more comfortable, reducing impact on the joints.
The TrailTack rubber outsole offers excellent traction on both dry and wet surfaces, and the shoes rock plate provides protection against sharp objects and debris. Despite its robust features, the Divide 5 GTX is relatively lightweight, maintaining agility and speed on the trails.
The fit of the shoe is secure and snug without being overly tight, accommodating different foot shapes comfortably. The padded tongue and collar enhance comfort, reducing the risk of blisters and irritation during longer runs.
Overall, the Divide 5 GTX is a reliable and versatile option for trail runners seeking a balance of protection, comfort, and performance. Its durable construction and thoughtful design make it a worthwhile investment for trail running in various weather conditions.

Ive taken these out on a few runs and have enjoyed them. There is plenty of cushion and support and would feel good about taking these on longer runs. My only issue, which may not end up being an issue if the run is longer, is that the toe box feels a little large and my foot could move around a bit. This may not be an issue if the run is longer and your feet begin to swell, so may actually be an advantage. My heel did feel like it was locked into place so no concerns there. Overall, its a solid shoe that can handle a multitude of terrain over varying distances.

The Divide 5 GTX fit true to size and I would say, very versatile too! They fit just right and I have been pleased with the comfort I experienced with my time with them. The shoes foamy and comfortable sole provide a ton of support and cushioning. The outsole provides ample traction and I felt secure on all the outdoor trails I went to. I also love the breathable material they used which provides a nice sensation when Im out and about. I believe these shoes shine in each department and they are a safe secure option for those looking for an all-rounded shoe.

This shoes works well on all terrain yet comfy. I chose these shoes in black color for easy cleaning and the design of divide 5 gtx was kept simple and convenient. The sole has a good grip. The shoelaces are standard. The shoe is fabricated with a mix of mesh and leather making it breathable. The most I liked about Brooks divide 5 gtx was the color and how light and comfortable it is. Overall, I recommend.

These shoes are great! I love to go on hikes and these shoes fit snug and I do not slip on going up or going down the trails. Laces tightened nicely and heel/sole cushioned well. The heel and sole were not too wide or too narrow. They were very comfortable and I didnt have any issues using them right from the start.
In regards to the design, I didnt love the full black color. I liked how they looked overall, I just wish they had more details in different colors versus solid black for each detail. I would definitely want a different color if I ever bought another pair.
The Gore-Tex fabric is top-notch especially for hiking shoes. I strongly recommend these shoes and appreciated the comfort during my hikes. They are very durable and I will definitely be using these for all of my hikes from now on.
My favorite part about the shoes are the Gore-Tex fabric and cushioned heel. I was worried my first hike in them would hurt my heels/feet, but they didnt. I was very pleased with the seamless transition to these versus my old shoes. They worked out great and I highly recommend these for hiking!
The biggest change I would have is giving more vibrant colors options, I would definitely purchase a different color next time.

Definitely waterproof. Like all, they get sweaty and stinky because they don't breathe. Comfortable after about 5 mile break in. The biggest problem is the traction feels slippery on concrete/tile when wet. I bought them for wet city walking so that doesn't work- I'll be returning them.
