I'm writing to share my concern regarding a recent purchase of the Hoka Rincon 4 shoes, which I bought on July 26, 2025, for my 16-year-old son. He's been using them for light daily walkingapproximately 2 miles per dayand as of today, August 26, 2025, the wear on the soles is surprisingly excessive. The tread is barely noticeable, which is quite unexpected given that the shoes have only seen around 60 miles of use. We chose Hoka for its reputation for quality and durability, so this level of wear is disappointing. I would appreciate it if you could advise on whether this level of wear is typical for the Rincon 4 model, and if not, what steps we might take to resolve the issue. I'm happy to provide photos or any additional information you may need. Thank you for your time and attentionI look forward to hearing from you.

I wore these shoes 4 times and they developed a large hole on the top portion of the shoe.

I found the Rincon 3 at an Ironman event in June of 22 and have been running in them as daily trainers, in marathons and in Ironman events. They were the best running shoes on the market. The Rincon 4 is garbage. It's not a redesign, it's a completely different shoe. The sad thing is, there isn't another Hoka that fits or feels like the Rincon 3.

It's just because I'm used to more support around the heel but I returned these because my heel was practically falling out of it when running.

Nice looking shoe. The shoe was uncomfortable. It didn't have much cushion like the Bondi 9.

We have been loyal Hoka customers for years now, but the rincon 4s are complete garbage. Both myself and husband hate them and they hurt our feet. Why change what was good? Go back to the 3s as there was nothing wrong with those. The 4s have completely missed the mark and it is extremely disappointing.

Ever since I found the rincon line of shoes years ago I've been running in them. Newest version seems like a completely different show. Will be looking for a new brand.

This pair of shoes arrived with no insole in the right shoe. Literally, no insole. It is unwearable as is. Very cheaply made and delivered in an unusable condition. I will never order HOKA shoes again.

The new HOKA model is a significant visual upgrade over the Rincon 3s, with a sleeker design, lighter feel, and sturdier upper near the tongue. However, it falls short where it matters mostcomfort. The narrower fit causes discomfort for those with wide feet, and the firmer foam reduces the cushioning that made the Rincon 3s so enjoyable. As a loyal fan of the brand, I'm disappointed to see such a step back in comfort.

I tried out these shoes on the treadmill and got a blister on the bottom of my foot after only a few miles. Otherwise, the shoes would be great but I obviously cannot get past the blister. I tried the regular and the wide and got a blister both times

I loved the Rincon 3s. Unfortunately, the Rincon 4s are nothing like the 3s. This is not an upgrade, it's a total redesign, and a poor one at that. Not sure why they call them Rincons. They're uncomfortable in almost every way so I had to return the pair I bought. I understand you won't please everyone, it's just strange to completely redesign a popular shoe. Very disappointing. Now I have to find another brand. I only liked the Hoka Rincons, the other models were not really comfortable for me. Even the Rincon 3s had issues like rapid tread wear but they worked well, were light weight, and fit great. I really wish they would make another shoe like the Rincon 3.

WHEN I WAS RUNNING ON THE ROAD OR IN TREADMILL, THE FRONT PORTION OF MY SHOES GETS STRUCK/GRIPPED OFTEN AND I FELL ONCE , LUCKILY THERE WAS NO CAR IN FRONT OF ME. I AM AVID RUNNER ON THE ROAD, RAN SEVERAL MARATHONS, FOR THE FIRST TIME I TRIED THIS BRAND, THERE IS A FLAW IN THEIR DESIGN OF FOOT WARE, BROOKS RUNNING SHOES NEVER HAD THESE PROBLEMS FOR ME. MAY BE MY RUNNING STYLE DOES NOT SUITS THIS BRAND.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I absolutely love HOKA. I am an avid runner. I buy 2-3 pairs a year. I wanted to share my love of HOKA with a family member in another country. I paid extra for expedited delivery, but they arrived late. We couldn't bring them on our flight. So I had to ask for a refund. However, HOKA refuses to refund my shipping costs, insisting it was within their allowable order fulfillment window. That is NOT what their website promised. It gave a date and I paid for that. More OFF PUTTING. Having customer service staff continue with their cutesy phrases after me telling them about my experience and them refusing to make it right. Such a WEIRD DISCONNECT. Please stop with the act. It's disingenuous and off-putting. To top it off, when I asked to have it elevated so I could talk to someone to give my feedback that your website shouldn't promise dates. No one ever did. It was not a HOKA-licious experience! (Staying in form with the weirdness of your call center.)
