Primary day to day shoe as well as gym shoe. Sole was great to start with but for the price the sole wore out and now the shoes are just trash

The Rincon 1 was a great shoe. Light, a bit wider in the tow, not an overwhelming stack height, the sole was good for a road to trail unfortunately with every iteration the shoe became more narrow, and added more and more cushion. The 4s crossed the line and I can't run in these shoes anymore. Seems like shoe companies just need to keep pushing this stuff to the extreme! Soon we'll be running on foam stilts! I was a dedicated Rincon customer - sadly now I'll have to find something else.

These shoes feel like walking and running on a cloud. The color is also nice. However, shortly after the 3 month mark and only walking or running approximately 130 miles on paved roads, the bottom of these shoes is wearing terribly. Unfortunately, the bulk of the tread is gone and a hole has been worn in the top where it comes into contact with the achilles heel. I've contacted Hoka and it does not appear they are going to honor any kind of warranty on these shoes, as the 3rd party they employ to do the warranty, has claimed this is normal wear and tear. I would love to recommend these but at 3 months, and in this price point, I expect more durability and longevity. From all I've read, these shoes should last an average of 300-500 miles. I personally don't recommend purchasing these.

literally the 3 is the best running on the planet. is it durable and long lasting - no. but 9 pairs in i wouldnt change a thing. run 250-300 miles and reload a new pair. like everyone is saying . please just admit mistake , listen to thousands of runners and bring back the 3

Less bulky shoe, looks better, but lack cushioning that the Rincon has been famous for.

I recently purchased my 4th, maybe 5th, pair of Hoka shoes. Ordered the same size as I always do men's 13D. For some reason this pair is too small. I plan to return them but concerned if I reorder in my size this will only happen again.

There was excessive room above toes and my toe nails broke because of movement when I walked.

I like that these have a snug fit compared to the Rincon 3s. Traction is slippery compared to the 3s because the 4s no longer have the vibram-like inserts on the sole.

This shoe has a narrow feeling even when ordering it in 2EE. It is lightweight good for every day running/walking but doesn't feel like it has much cushioning which I like in a shoe for my needs. I did buy the bondi 9 and for me they were the right shoes for my feet.

The rincon 3 was the best running shoe I've owned. These feel nothing like them. Much tighter and less flexible around the toes- I could see this causing a lot of discomfort down the road. Exchanged for the Cliftons which are fine but I still miss my rincon 3s unfortunately might have to move on to non hokas next time

These are not black/grayish. They are lavender/purple. Make sure you see them in person.

I thought they looked great out of the box and for the first few weeks of wearing them. My feet angle out a bit, and I noticed after about a month the shoes were REALLY turning on their side. I have a dog that I walk twice a day so by the time I noticed that the shoes didn’t support me the way I need, it was too late to return. I’ll keep wearing them until either they break or they hurt. Won’t buy again.

please bring back the Rincon 3. the 4 pronates too much and if you have any ankle issues, this is a problem. the Rincon 3 was a better, more stable shoe. why change...it was a great shoe. the Mayo Clinic recommended it for me when I had an ankle issue.

Hi. These do not feel as wide as the other Hoka purchases. Sorry - because I like the style.

I have owned multiple pairs of HOKA and thought these would be good for walking the neighborhood with the dog. They are tight on top and in the toe area. They are also stiff and hurt the top of my toes. Not the best pair of shoes I have owed

The changes and updates to the Rincon 4 are overall disappointing. The Rincon 4 felt more narrow, more firm and less fast than the previous Rincon 3. I normally purchase wide Hokas and I purchased a wide Rincon 4 and still felt like it was a bit narrow and tight. I also hate the lack of color options for these right now. While this shoe is still a viable daily trainer, I like many other reviewers, thought the Rincon 3 was perfect. If you offered me the ability to purchase 50 more pairs of the Rincon 3 so I could use them forever, I would. Sorry Hoka, this change was not needed. This shoe needed to be called something else while you continued to produce Rincon 3. For context, I run about 1200 miles annually and run marathons. I have been wearing Hoka's since 2017 as my daily trainers (Clifton or Rincons). I have purchased 17 Rincon 3's and I am dreading the day my last few pairs wear out and I need to find a new daily trainer. I buy Hoka's for their wide options and superior cushioning and comfort for daily runs. I will be moving away from the Rincon 4 to something else.

Purchased this shoe about four months ago and it's hardly been worn still looks brand new. I sent to do a return about three weeks ago or may be longer and have never heard anything back for the price of these shoes. They should be lasting longer.

While comfortable, this shoe lacks any rubber on the sole which is an issue for grip/durability and they seem cheaply made. I have owned all three previous models and this is not an improvement on any of them. Whatever foam they use, in lieu of rubber, is not durable, wears quickly and picks up little sharp stones.

I have used Hokas as my "daily wear" shoe for years, and consistently get a full year of wear out of them. Not this time!! Just over a month of wear, at a job where I'm sitting or teaching most of the time (Garmin tells me I average 2 miles a day), and the tread has significant wear and the backs are ripping. Very dissatisfied with this shoe.

I love hoka shoes and purchase a new pair every 3 months. These are by far the worst Hoka's I've had. After 150 miles on these the sole is completely worn out. Ive owned a few pairs of the previous iteration, hoka rincon 3's, and loved them. The rincon 3's lasted me a little over 300miles each before I replaced them and with the exception of the sole wear you couldn't tell i'd put them through that. These rincon 4 however are junk. They are lacking the durable rubber lugs the rincon 3s had and the sole wears away with every footstep. The cushioning and support is still there however after 150 miles the sole of the shoe is completely worn bald and looks like a ski. Any uneven terrain or wet surfaces can be a real problem now and I spend more time looking at where I'm placing my feet than actual running. Hoka go back to your previous design and don't mess with something that isn't broken.
