Overall, I’m okay with the snugger for than the Rincon 3s. The outer soles seem durable but are slippery compared to the R3s which had the grippy rubber cutouts along the forefoot and heel of the sole.

Seems to be not as comfortable as your other shoes, little narrow for my foot even though I had order wide. Run slightly smaller than the other models.

I've run in Rincons for years. The Rincon 4 seems better for walking. It is not a competitive running shoe. It lacks bounce. I'll have to look elsewhere. Rincon 4s are not good.

Rincon generation 1 was probably one of my all time favorites. Not sure what changed since the 3+. Feels stiffer, less supportive, sizing off, cheaper foam

The sides of these shoes started to come unglued after only a few wears. Very disappointing quality, especially for something that should last much longer.

Earlier version of the Ricon was much better. In fact I'll go back to using my older pair

Great for walking. Heels started to come apart around 120 miles. Didn't happen with my challenger 8s.

I used to love the Rincon, but the narrowing of the toe box has changed my opinion. It is now too tight and uncomfortable for my runs and I won't be buying this again unless the toe box goes back to the size it was.

My shoes wore well but quickly wore out. Ive almost slipped and fallen a few times. I submitted a warranty claim and it took 10+ days to tell me they didn't get all the pictures. I fell like the warranty team is just making it difficult so I don't give up...about to just go buy some brooks.

Primary day to day shoe as well as gym shoe. Sole was great to start with but for the price the sole wore out and now the shoes are just trash

The Rincon 1 was a great shoe. Light, a bit wider in the tow, not an overwhelming stack height, the sole was good for a road to trail unfortunately with every iteration the shoe became more narrow, and added more and more cushion. The 4s crossed the line and I can't run in these shoes anymore. Seems like shoe companies just need to keep pushing this stuff to the extreme! Soon we'll be running on foam stilts! I was a dedicated Rincon customer - sadly now I'll have to find something else.

These shoes feel like walking and running on a cloud. The color is also nice. However, shortly after the 3 month mark and only walking or running approximately 130 miles on paved roads, the bottom of these shoes is wearing terribly. Unfortunately, the bulk of the tread is gone and a hole has been worn in the top where it comes into contact with the achilles heel. I've contacted Hoka and it does not appear they are going to honor any kind of warranty on these shoes, as the 3rd party they employ to do the warranty, has claimed this is normal wear and tear. I would love to recommend these but at 3 months, and in this price point, I expect more durability and longevity. From all I've read, these shoes should last an average of 300-500 miles. I personally don't recommend purchasing these.

literally the 3 is the best running on the planet. is it durable and long lasting - no. but 9 pairs in i wouldnt change a thing. run 250-300 miles and reload a new pair. like everyone is saying . please just admit mistake , listen to thousands of runners and bring back the 3

Less bulky shoe, looks better, but lack cushioning that the Rincon has been famous for.

I recently purchased my 4th, maybe 5th, pair of Hoka shoes. Ordered the same size as I always do men's 13D. For some reason this pair is too small. I plan to return them but concerned if I reorder in my size this will only happen again.

There was excessive room above toes and my toe nails broke because of movement when I walked.

I like that these have a snug fit compared to the Rincon 3s. Traction is slippery compared to the 3s because the 4s no longer have the vibram-like inserts on the sole.

This shoe has a narrow feeling even when ordering it in 2EE. It is lightweight good for every day running/walking but doesn't feel like it has much cushioning which I like in a shoe for my needs. I did buy the bondi 9 and for me they were the right shoes for my feet.

The rincon 3 was the best running shoe I've owned. These feel nothing like them. Much tighter and less flexible around the toes- I could see this causing a lot of discomfort down the road. Exchanged for the Cliftons which are fine but I still miss my rincon 3s unfortunately might have to move on to non hokas next time

These are not black/grayish. They are lavender/purple. Make sure you see them in person.
