I replaced my Rincon 3 with the Rincon 4. I like the lightweight and durability of the shoe. One negative was that my prior pair on Rincon 3 was a 10.5 D. In all of my many shoes I either wear a 10D or 10.5 D. I ordered my Rincon 4 the same size as my Rincon 3 - 10D. These, however, were too tight. I sent them back and exchaged it for an 11D, which fit well. There is thus something wrong with the sizing of this sneaker. As I mentioned, I have never worn an 11D in my entire life.

I use my Rincon as everyday footwear. They are light and stable while providing the cushioning support that my aging feet need. These are now my daily favorites! Hooyah Hoka One One!

Let me preface this by saying I'm a woman, and I bought the men's version of this shoe. I tried the women's version on at the store and loved them, but they didn't have the color I wanted. So I thought I could get the men's and call it good. Unfortunately, this didn't work for me. Maybe because the width was a little too big? I just found these didn't give the same support as the ones I tried on at the store- such to the effect that my feet were actually turning in/overpronating when I walked. It was odd. I have other men's shoes in smaller sizes that fit just fine and don't do this. This was going to be my first Hoka, but I ended up going back to my tried and true Brooks Adrenaline GTS instead.

It's a great shoe but they run a little small. I had to break them in and wear a thinner pair of socks. Now I know to go up a 1/2 size

I like the padded tongue and a little more room in the toe box. What I don't like is the material over the top front puckers. It is not smooth like previous models.

Love the color; cushions foot falls nicely. Tread seems to be wearing unevenly, and faster than I would have expected (& I'm "easy" on my shoes - they usually last a long time.)

Narrower than I would like for my wide foot, but I'm hoping it stretches with use, without failing.

I'm a casual runner - I run for fitness, not goals. 3-6 miles 3x a week. I appreciated the Rincon 3 for being inexpensive, moderate stack, protective, flexible and lightweight - like a stripped down Clifton. The Rincon 4 is still all those things. The new foam and outsole feels denser and firmer, and I miss the lightly cushioned feel of the Rincon 3 - this is an inexpensive shoe and I don't need it to last forever, lightness & comfort are more important. I find the R4 still true to size - yes it's a snugger fit but I find it to be better overall; the R3 seemed a touch long and roomy in the toebox, and the bucket seemed narrower. That said I'm a C width, so a slightly narrow fit suits me. I think if Hoka makes this a bit softer and a touch roomier in the next version, it will be great.

These are so light and comfortable, and awesome to do a 10-mile run in, but the sole sure does seem to wear out quickly. I've had mine less than six months, with many of my runs coming on a treadmill, and there are flat spots that really shouldn't be there. If you know going in that these aren't a long-term option, and maybe that's why the price is lower than other Hokas, then these are a decent value. It's a shame because they're as comfortable as anything Hoka has made.

I followed HOKA's advice and sized up a size when I purchased these. Now my feet slide around in them. They would be very comfortable otherwise.

Bought this model for my husband. He's a size 16.... not so easy to find shoes in his size and not all Hoka's come in 16. To boot his foot is narrow. This shoes works for him to reaps all the benefits a Hoka offers. However, due to his narrow foot the shoe bunches a bit when tightening the laces.
