The tongue on one shoe is longer than the other, cutting into the skin during movement and chafing the skin. This is unacceptable for a shoe in this price range. Also, the shoe seems to not provide adequate support and hurts the feet during movementt.

This was my first time ordering Hokas so I ordered several different styles and I decided to keep the Mach 6s because they seemed to be the best fit. I tried running in them several times, but they are uncomfortable and I kept tripping. Even just walking they are bulky and I feel like I'm wearing the box they came in. They also get extremely dirty quickly and don't come clean. These sit in the back of my closet - sadly, I'd rather use an old pair of sneakers than these.

I had three pairs of Clifton 8's and loved them all. Discontinued by HOKA. Ordered a pair of Mach 6 and a pair of Clifton 9's. The Clifton 9's were returned immediately. I've been wearing the Mach 6's for about 3 weeks now and my feet ache by the end of each day. I could wear my Clifton 8's forever without a problem. So disappointed. Back to the drawing board for comfortable shoes.

Dislike the Mach 6. Mach 5 was a lighter and more responsive daily trainee. Mach 6 is heavier, narrower and has more side to side movement which has irritated my hamstring. Would not recommend! Might work as a walking shoe but would definitely not recommend to runners.

I have lots of problems with my feet and have tried several brands of running shoes. I tried the Hoka Mach 5 and for the first time I have zero foot pain while running (I run 8-15 mi per week). Since Mach 5 is no longer being made, I was hoping that Mach 6 would be similar. They are nothing like the Mach 5. They feel cheap and plastic which is why I switched from Brooks. I am currently scouring the internet for every possible Mach 5 I can find but I hope Hoka has a style that is similar if not the same as the Mach 5.

I love love love the Mach 5. These feel nothing like them. These are narrower and the cushioning is not the same. I rotate 3 pairs of Mach 5's and one pair has 400 miles on them and are the pair I ran a 50k in. It took awhile to find a shoe that works for me and now they have been replaced with a totally different product. Please bring back the Mach 5's!!

Hoka is the worst running company at the rate they are going and their product continue to deteriorate in quality. They used to be amazing, and now, their customer service falls so far from appropriate and I would never recommend anyone to purchase a single product from them. I have order these exact shoes for years, and have loved them. I noticed recently they were not lasting as long as they used to, and my running habits have remained unchanged. I recently ordered a new pair and they first sent me a faulty pair. They then took my money and refused to send me another pair of shoes in a timely manner to get me running again after a UPS hiccup when sending the replacement. I now have no shoes, and "waiting on a refund" and have been out of running shoes for two weeks unexpectedly. I guess it is finally time go back to asics or try a brand that does* take care of their loyal customers.

I am a 60+ year old female runner. I like the feel of the Mach 6 vs the Mach 5. However, I run 2.5 miles twice a week and then walk another 2.5 miles.. I use other sneakers for other days of walking and fitness activities. This shoe wore out in 8 weeks.

I am so sad that HOKA re-made the MACH's. My MACH 5's are my favorites but this new one is just awful. I previously ordered my regular size 7 and they were so narrow and short that I returned them disgusted. I thought I would try the 7 WIDE thinking they would be roomier b/c I just love the MACH 5's but they were just as snug and short as the regular 7. I used to recommend HOKA's to everyone and now I just cannot.

The Mach 6 is too different of a shoe for fans of the Mach 5. Really disappointed in this revamp as it ruined my favorite shoe. I would liken the Mach 6 to the feel of a pair of Oofos flip flops. Please bring back the Mach 5! Until then, I'll be searching other brands for a new favorite and I've been a Hoka wearer for over ten years. PS - they run a half size smaller than the old one.

I never received this shipment. I was pretty bummed because I really liked the color and I love the other pair I purchased.

I bought these shoes in May, I have used them very little, and the sole has already worn out. They are too comfortable for jogging and I fell in love with these shoes but I am disappointed because in less than 3 months and with very little use the sole wore out. I have had other brands of jogging shoes and this has never happened to me. In fact, I have had the shoes for years and they are practically new.

Used the Mach 5 for my past 2 marathons-best shoe I've ever worn so was excited to try the Mach 6! SO horrible. There is no stability. It's like they forgot to put the support in the shoe. They are flimsy and overall the worst running shoe I've had. My heels hurt after wearing them and my toes got blisters. I want my Mach 5s back. First time returning a shoe-cmon Hoka, you can do better.

Not happy, this was my 4 pair of Hoka and has been the worst, can't return it, loved my Rincon, Match 5 but match 6 made my feet hurt ,swelling and doesn't feel comfortable. I use the for work because Im of my feet all day long, thank goodness don't have to run with them.

I used to wear Brooks but I had major surgery and they did not work for me post-op. I got fitted at a local store and the Mach 5 was my first pair of Hokas. I have bought about 6 pairs of them because I had difficulty walking in anything else after my surgery. They were the ideal shoe for me - no foot pain, able to wear them to the gym or casually if need be. The Mach 6 kills my feet. There is too much cushion under the heel - it feels nice initially but it makes walking awkward. I had never had ankle pain until I wore the Mach 6 to the gym. I am beyond disappointed that the style changed so much. The 6 runs smaller, the tongue is weird and does not stay in place and again, they are too cushioned in heel area. I don't even understand how this is considered the same model as the 5. Hoka should have renamed it and left the 5 alone for those of us who were happy with them. Not sure what I am going to do when I can no longer find the 5 on the internet. I have stocked up as much as I can. May end up having to wear another brand.

Was super disappointed after purchasing this shoe. I experienced soreness like I never have. Feels more like a Clifton. I wore Mach's for years and unfortunately going to have to switch to a new brand before can't find anything that feels close to the Mach 5.

Initially, I was very excited to purchase the Mach 6 for the summer. After just a few times wearing the shoes teaching summer school PE the left shoe was already coming apart from the bottom seam on the right side. I contacted a representative and they stated I would have to send the shoes back, wait ten days for them to evaluate said shoe to then determine my exchange/return. I have only had the shoes for two weeks yet this process was gonna cause me work and time to wait to determine an exchange or refund. I felt this was inappropriate based on the time frame I purchased the shoes as well as the other great reviews I've read. Due to this scenario, it has deterred my desire for future purchases and regret with this one.

The Mach is now basically a lighter Clifton. The toe box is also very narrow now and no longer wide. I usually get an 8.5 and would need at least a 9.5 for it to fit. Disappointed they changed the shoe :(

The Mach 5 is my go to and so I tried the Mach 6. The moment I put them before I even took a step I was in pain. The Mach 6 distributes your weight all to the outside of the ankle so much so that the toes lift up and don't even rest on the ground when standing. It's nice that the pressure is off the big toe but all of that weight on the ankle isn't fun. Going to have to stuck up on the Mach 5, pelase keep those in stock Hoka!
