I am a 60+ year old female runner. I like the feel of the Mach 6 vs the Mach 5. However, I run 2.5 miles twice a week and then walk another 2.5 miles.. I use other sneakers for other days of walking and fitness activities. This shoe wore out in 8 weeks.

I am so sad that HOKA re-made the MACH's. My MACH 5's are my favorites but this new one is just awful. I previously ordered my regular size 7 and they were so narrow and short that I returned them disgusted. I thought I would try the 7 WIDE thinking they would be roomier b/c I just love the MACH 5's but they were just as snug and short as the regular 7. I used to recommend HOKA's to everyone and now I just cannot.

The Mach 6 is too different of a shoe for fans of the Mach 5. Really disappointed in this revamp as it ruined my favorite shoe. I would liken the Mach 6 to the feel of a pair of Oofos flip flops. Please bring back the Mach 5! Until then, I'll be searching other brands for a new favorite and I've been a Hoka wearer for over ten years. PS - they run a half size smaller than the old one.

I never received this shipment. I was pretty bummed because I really liked the color and I love the other pair I purchased.

I bought these shoes in May, I have used them very little, and the sole has already worn out. They are too comfortable for jogging and I fell in love with these shoes but I am disappointed because in less than 3 months and with very little use the sole wore out. I have had other brands of jogging shoes and this has never happened to me. In fact, I have had the shoes for years and they are practically new.

Used the Mach 5 for my past 2 marathons-best shoe I've ever worn so was excited to try the Mach 6! SO horrible. There is no stability. It's like they forgot to put the support in the shoe. They are flimsy and overall the worst running shoe I've had. My heels hurt after wearing them and my toes got blisters. I want my Mach 5s back. First time returning a shoe-cmon Hoka, you can do better.

I don't like the fit, not comfortable

Not happy, this was my 4 pair of Hoka and has been the worst, can't return it, loved my Rincon, Match 5 but match 6 made my feet hurt ,swelling and doesn't feel comfortable. I use the for work because Im of my feet all day long, thank goodness don't have to run with them.

I used to wear Brooks but I had major surgery and they did not work for me post-op. I got fitted at a local store and the Mach 5 was my first pair of Hokas. I have bought about 6 pairs of them because I had difficulty walking in anything else after my surgery. They were the ideal shoe for me - no foot pain, able to wear them to the gym or casually if need be. The Mach 6 kills my feet. There is too much cushion under the heel - it feels nice initially but it makes walking awkward. I had never had ankle pain until I wore the Mach 6 to the gym. I am beyond disappointed that the style changed so much. The 6 runs smaller, the tongue is weird and does not stay in place and again, they are too cushioned in heel area. I don't even understand how this is considered the same model as the 5. Hoka should have renamed it and left the 5 alone for those of us who were happy with them. Not sure what I am going to do when I can no longer find the 5 on the internet. I have stocked up as much as I can. May end up having to wear another brand.

Was super disappointed after purchasing this shoe. I experienced soreness like I never have. Feels more like a Clifton. I wore Mach's for years and unfortunately going to have to switch to a new brand before can't find anything that feels close to the Mach 5.

Initially, I was very excited to purchase the Mach 6 for the summer. After just a few times wearing the shoes teaching summer school PE the left shoe was already coming apart from the bottom seam on the right side. I contacted a representative and they stated I would have to send the shoes back, wait ten days for them to evaluate said shoe to then determine my exchange/return. I have only had the shoes for two weeks yet this process was gonna cause me work and time to wait to determine an exchange or refund. I felt this was inappropriate based on the time frame I purchased the shoes as well as the other great reviews I've read. Due to this scenario, it has deterred my desire for future purchases and regret with this one.

The Mach is now basically a lighter Clifton. The toe box is also very narrow now and no longer wide. I usually get an 8.5 and would need at least a 9.5 for it to fit. Disappointed they changed the shoe :(

I am very disappointed with these shoes. I ordered Regular size, but Wide was sent to me.

The Mach 5 is my go to and so I tried the Mach 6. The moment I put them before I even took a step I was in pain. The Mach 6 distributes your weight all to the outside of the ankle so much so that the toes lift up and don't even rest on the ground when standing. It's nice that the pressure is off the big toe but all of that weight on the ankle isn't fun. Going to have to stuck up on the Mach 5, pelase keep those in stock Hoka!

Slippery when running on a track

First of all, I own about 15 pairs of Hoka shoes and this one by far fis the most uncomfortable pair of shoes that I have purchased from anyone. I purchased the wide since these seem more comfortable for me. First day I wore these, I was literally limping from pain by the end of the day. The shoe left purple bruises on my right toe. I tried adjusting my laces and nothing helped. I tried wearing them a week later and same thing happened. I love my other Hokas but these shoes are a huge disappointment.

I have four pairs of Hokas and they're great. This pair is not like the others. Tongue is thin and made of non breathable material. Less padding.

These shoes for me were horrible, They maybe great for some but for me they killed my feet and back.. My other shoes do not, thats how I know it's the shoe that caused my pain

Going to return. Its very narrow and compressing my toes.

I've tried forgive me if I miss spell Bondi, Clifton, Mach 6, Arahi 7, and another one but I can't remember. These are not Arahi 6. After trying the Mach 6's and some pairs of KURU shoes, I scoured the internet for Arahi 6s and bought all I could find. When you're ready to make those again, please let me know.

I truly wanted to love this shoe, but it was impossible. I'm a Hoka customer and I have relatively wide foot, so this brand has been just what I need. Obviously every shoe/model is different, so I've had to order some on wide, some regular. Anyway, I ordered this pair on 7, they immediately felt smaller than my other 7 size pairs. I still went for a run. Got a blister on a 5 mile run, I've only ever got blisters while doing ultras. I did an exchange for the wide; on a different note, since they've been stealing packages at my building, I've been choosing pick up points instead. First delivery was made through UPS and delivered perfectly (apart from the sizing not being great for me). The exchange for some reason was made through FedEx, they delivered it somewhere else, so I had to once again do a new order, with the help of a representative of Hoka through the phone. She was amazing. Today I finally received my Mach 6, size 7 wide. Totally disappointed, this are probably the tightest shoes I own and doing a night treadmill run was beyond uncomfortable. I guess for the fourth time, I'll need to place an order and exchange this pair for a different model, because I just don't see myself ever running comfortable with them. Disappointed from the shoe and from the hassle that receiving them has been. Definitely run smaller than every other Hoka shoes that I've ever had.

As a physical therapist, walking in these with a mobile foot causes the metatarsal bones to shift over the nerves too much. All of my toes were numb walking in 1/4 mile. I like Hoka, but it's frustrating to have to order online and return. If you are running and on the ball of your foot the whole time, maybe.
