This is my first pair of Brooks. I'm not a runner, but this brand was recommended to me by my physical therapist for back issues. Seeing my new shoes next to my older pair of sneakers, I'm struck by the wide base on the Brooks, but not surprised, as they feel so _stabilizing _. There is a nice wide toe box with no uncomfortable rubbing. I've had a chance to wear them for "all day" walking and standing and feel an amazing difference to similar situations with most any other brands I've tried - Vionic coming the closest. Very expensive, though! I will watch for sales. Thanks Zappos, for letting me try on different shoes first.
I'd also recommend:

I don’t know if my feet are growing, or Brooks’ sizes are shrinking. I normally wear a size 8, but had to size up to 8.5 in these. I have flat feet and a narrow heel and these were perfect right out of the box!

I’m so disappointed these didn’t work for me. Tried my size and a larger size and it didn’t work.

They stay dry, wonderful support as usual but they do run small, I ordered a half size up and wish I did a whole size up.

I worked in Podiatry for many years and have to say these are some of the best sneakers out there. The arch support is right on and the fact that they are so light make these an excellent choice.

I purchased these to compare them to the New GTS 24 Regular AND Weatherized shoes. GTS GTX 23 hurt my toes, heels and soles because they don't have enough cushion throughout my walking goal. The GTS 24 versions are better for comfort. I'm trying to force myself to use the 23 version up to at least 300 miles of walking. I walk 7-9 miles per day 6 days a week.

I have worn Brooks shoes for years and LOVE them. This was my first purchase of the Adrenaline though. I was reading through reviews where many stated these are a half size smaller than the normal Brooks they wear. I am a true 9, sometimes I can go down to an 8 1/2 but not up. I decided to go ahead and purchase my 9 and they fit perfect. The blue and pink on them is eye catching. The arch support is heavenly. My first Adrenalines, but not my last.

I bought these sneakers to have waterproof shoes for a vacation. They stayed dry in a rain storm. The padded area are in the ankle held the most water, but overall these were great. They do run small, I had to go up a half size.

I've been wearing Brooks for years, both for workouts and in general. I like the wider toe box as I have bunions. I like the supported, bouncy feel of the cushioning. No complaints.

as a heavier person trying desperately to regain my life, I found that regular tennis shoes were not helping. I was beginning to get heel problems pretty quickly. Guess what happens when you get hurt? You quit. So instead I decided to invest in better shoes! Game changer! It helps to keep me going. I just wish I would have ordered a half size bigger because when my feet swell, they get tight around the toes. Lesson learned. Thank you for making such a great product!

Absolutely love this shoe. I bought it because the last two versions of Ghosts did not work for me at all. This shoe has great support, hugs the foot and great cushioning. It may just be the replacement for Ghosts until Brooks comes up with another Ghost version that works for me.

I have worn Brooks Andrenaline shoes for over 20 years, now.. I always order a size 9, medium width- 1 size larger than my non-athletic shoes- so there is room for thick, winter socks and/or plenty for my toes to spread out as much as is comfortable- and health- for any exericise/activity. I usually rotate between regular Adrenalines during the 6 warmer months of the year, and the Goretex lined Adrenalines during the wintry/snowy months. Highly recommended..

This does fit a little tighter - probably because of the Gortex, but if you live in wet climates, it's a game-changer!

Love these shoes. I'm so grateful to have found a jogging/working out/living shoe for the winter that keeps my toes warm and dry. I went up half a size like the other reviews suggested and they fit great. What I love most about these and my other Adrenalines is how long the soles last. I wear these ten to twelve miles a day most days of the week and it was a solid ten months before my first pair wore down. My Nike's never last more than three months and even my Hoka's are toast after four or five months. The staying power of these alone makes them worth it. My one suggestion? The winter is drab enough - let's hit these with the neon stick! I want some bright green/yellow/orange/aqua for the grey days - all the way from the soles to the laces.
