The Ghost Max 2 are awesome walking shoes. I am a sometimes jogger, but mostly a walker. I walk 3-4 times a week for about 40 minutes each time. The Ghost Max 2 fit like a glove and are very comfortable. They didnt need a big break in period and I didnt get a hot spot or any weird rubbing. The design was okay, kind of clunky, but I felt supported while walking/jogging. The fabric was breathable and seemed to be able to wipe clean. I didnt love the overall look of the shoe, I sort of felt like I had clown shoes. However, the support and cushion the shoe provides will outweigh the cuteness factor. Overall I would recommend these to any walker/jogger looking for a comfortable, supportive shoe.

I loved the look of these shoes, and the initial feel. They have a good bounce to them, without feeling unstable. However, they are somewhat narrow in the heel area. The first run I went on, I realized I would get blisters if I continued to use them. I switched to my old shoes for running, and tried to break them in by walking. I also tried wearing thick socks and using a hair dryer to warm the heel up a bit, to no avail. I can wear them comfortably for shorter walks, but nothing more. I wish the heel part was just a little less snug, because I otherwise love the shoe! Looks nice, feels stable yet with a good spring, and isnt too warm of a fabric for the summer heat!

As a college athlete the most I had to run was 5k but now as a full time working mom of 2 I started to dabble in half marathon distance, and an preparing for my first race in September. I soon found that I have flat feet that roll off the outside sole of so many of the standard running shoes. I'm more of a heel striker and even moreso when running with a stroller. I boldly took the Brooks Ghost Max 2 on my first 10 mile training run and they are elite. I had no ankle, knee, or back pain afterwards and my feet felt great with total support on both the inside and outside edge of my foot. They don't have a huge toe drop which has been excellent for keeping a steady pace during my training runs. I'm currently averaging 25 miles per week and these have quickly become my go to for both the mid (4-5mi) and long (10+) distance runs. I've taken these on pavement and off road trails and will confidently say that these bad boys will support you on both. I regret to say that I flirted with a few other brands when beginning my longer distance adventure but these shoes have brought me back to team Brooks.

Super light weight, I thought they would be heavier because of all the cushion but they are like walking on clouds. I feel like I have slightly wide feet and I felt like these were perfect and the size was definitely true to size. I love how these were super trendy looking too. They werent too bulky, and they came up to a perfect spot below the ankle. The material wears definitely breathable yet they kept from getting super dirty inside and out when I run on dirt trails. These sneakers have definitely became some of my favorite and are now in my weekly rotation. I often even find myself wearing them when Im not working out and using them for casual use.

The Brooks Running Women's Ghost Max 2 Shoes are soft, smooth, and protective. These women's road-running shoes deliver maximum comfort for running or walking. Moreover, these shoes come with with lots of soft, lightweight cushioning, and have a rocker shape that actively helps me move from landing to toe-off, and a broad base for added stability, and keeps me always ready to roll.
These amazing shoes helps me with easy assisted transitions as it comes with max cushioning and also these shoes are suitable for both road running as well as walking. Moreover, the protective design of these awesome shoes always gives me a stable ride, giving me a smooth and floaty-feeling, as the plush cushioning design help me enjoy and savor your run.
I am totally impressed with these pair of shoes and have already recommended them to many of my friends and family and several of them have already purchased and have worn these shoes and they all love the soft, lightweight cushioning in these shoes, which always gives them a stable ride, as well as a smooth and floaty-feeling.

Ghost Max 2 Ebony/sweet/lavender/alloy are exceptional. I'm a hairdresser and these walk well throughout the day and have a good foundational support when I need it over long periods of time on a concrete floor. Ghost Max 2 are soft, lightweight, with max cushioning, protective design, a rocker shape that actively helps you move from landing to toe-off, and a broad base for added stability. DNA LOFT v2 cushioning works with the GlideRoll Rocker to decrease pressure underfoot for protective comfort. I have had plantar fasciitis. and I have lower back pain that runs down my leg. This shoes cushioning GlideRoll Rocker help with these problems. And many more. A broad base offers inherent stability for a secure feel that doesnt interfere with a neutral stride. I totally recommend Ghost Max 2 these are also good for wider feet.

The Brooks Ghost Max 2 will live up to your expectations for an excellent running shoe.
Upon opening the box, I was impressed with the quality and design. The sole provides a lot of support and the fabric is extremely breathable. They are perfect for running in hot weather conditions.
My foot is a little wide, and these shoes easily accommodated my with; however, I thought the length ran a little small. I usually wear a size 8.5 and wish I would have gotten a 9. They have stretched a little with use, and I still find them pretty comfortable. My typical use is for running outdoors on a paved path, but I even wore these to a theme park one day for 12 hours and it was like walking on air!
I would highly recommend the Brooks Gosht Max 2 to anyone looking for a stylish and comfy running shoe.

I have the Ghost 15 in blue and in black and have been waiting for an all-white version (neon or multi-colored trainers aren't for me). THANK YOU for making a white trainer! These are even more comfortable straight out of the box. The removable insole is great for custom-made orthotics. The amount of roll at the toe is EVERYTHING to me because a bone spur on top of my toe prevents a full range of motion. I especially love these for travel. I'm holding out for an "all-weather" Brooks sneaker someday. Water repellant spray won't prevent soaking in a downpour.

Im happy with the shoe as a whole. Lots of great cushion and comfort! There is just a little something along the outer edges that I feel as I run that doesnt allow me to give the shoe a 5 star rating. Im not sure if its built that way intentionally for those who pronate, but Im not one of those and dont need any outer edge built up so it feels little annoying.

For context, I am 130lbs and run 20-30 miles per week.
Unfortunately, I am sending mine back due to fit. I LOVE the Ghost Max 1 and I was super excited about these new color ways with the Ghost Max 2. I am bummed.
The Good:
New colorways are great
The nitrogen infused sole is an improvement over the Ghost Max 1
The Bad:
The new toe box is cramped. I wear an 8.5 regular in the Ghost Max 1 and I feel I need a 9 wide in these.
The upper on the Ebony (which is so beautiful) is very constrictive and not as breathable as the Ghost Max 1.
Suggestions to the Brooks design team: bring back the upper material and roominess of the Ghost Max 1 with the nitrogen sole and colorways of Ghost Max 2 for a perfect shoe.

Love them! I love my Max 1s, but they feel a little weird when walking in them to and from my run because the cushion is super spongy. I only use them for running, so Ive loved them. For the max 2s, the cushion definitely is lighter (weight wise) and more structured. GREAT RUN!

I adore my original Ghost Max so I decided to purchase the newest version. Overall, I am very impressed. Very comfortable straight out of the box. The GM2 is said to have more cushioning, but it doesn't feel squishy, which I like. I also feel like the new version has better arch support. They feel more secure on my feet than the original, providing a little bit of a tighter fit. The ebony/lavender/alloy combination is very eye catching. I am primarily a walker and these shoes will be perfect.

Overall I think this is a good everyday training shoe. Nothing significant that is negative. I have run in the original ghost max and really for me that is what I did my comparison. The shoes seem to have a little less cushion than the original. The shoe does seem to have a higher stack than the original I couldnt find the actual height. Also it does feel a bit more stable. All of things together doesnt make for a worse shoe, for some these will be improvements. For reference I took the shoe on a 5 mile interval session and a 11 mile run.

Unfortunately, I will be sending them back. The shoe just did not fit my foot well. The arch support is minimal, the shoe itself is very stiff.

I wore these for a couple of weeks until I suddenly developed an unexpected pain in my right foot. I tried wearing different shoes to get to the bottom of the source, and unfortunately whenever I put them on again I realized it was isolated to these sneakers! I had no intention of returning them, but was forced to as a result.

Reviews said order 1/2 size larger and glad I did. Still don’t like as much as former Brooks (discontinued) however these are nice. Also - color is yellowish-tan so not great hence 3 stars.

Bought these due to the rave reviews. Good looking shoes, but no match for the Hoka Bondi 8, which are so much more comfortable, to me.

I want to love it, but I can't. I was really hoping these would be the "ones". I already go a half-size up with Brooks, but the toe box on these is so cramped that I dread wearing them. I'm so disappointed. I'm on my feet all day, and since wearing these I've been experiencing leg cramping at night that I know is from the shoes. When I switch to my Adrenalines, Ghost 15s, Glycerins or Hyperions I'm not experiencing the cramping. I have at least 13 pairs of Brooks in my rotation. I'm not a runner, but I walk all day on concrete floors, so I can't tell you my experience other than this.

They're fine, but not my preferred shoe. I branched out from my usual (Adrenaline) to save some $ because these were on sale, and I wish I hadn't. There's almost too much padding, it's like being on platforms. The padding plus rounded toe makes you feel like you're being propelled forward even when you don't want to. I won't return these but also won't buy them again. They'd probably be good for someone who needs extreme cushion and support for walking.

At first these shoes were absolutely amazing. But overall I feel they have broken down a lot faster than my previous shoes I've owned. It's been a couple months and I may need a new pair because they aren't handling the miles I put on them when working or working out.
