I work outside on concrete 10-12 hours 3 days a week. These shoes are so comfortable , I have no more pain in my feet or legs. BEST SHOES EVER !!!

I love my Ghost Max shoes, so I was eager to try Ghost Max 2. The new version is definitely smaller and more cramped. I held one up to my older version, and the hew GhostMax 2 is shorter in length. Will be returning as soon as I can print out return label.

After doing a lot of research on sneakers that I will need for a long pilgrimage walk, and also for needing wide width, I chose the Ghost Max. They felt good as soon as I put them on and I am breaking them in now. However, I am disappointed that now Brooks sends me a 20% discount coupon on another pair??? I would have appreciated that $30 discount when I bought them.

I was concerned that I wouldn't actually like these shoes, I've never worn a max cushion shoe before. But now I'm a convert! I generally run ~5k at 8:30 pace on roads every morning and have been thoroughly enjoying the comfort and springyness. Usually I switch off shoes each run, but I've been wearing these ones every time instead. They do run a hair small, I bought my normal size and initially thought I'd have to return them for a size up, but they ended up being just barely long enough.

Awesome cushioning!!! As a person who has had multiple foot surgeries, it is my new go to!!!

Ive been wearing the Ghost Max 2 running shoes for a few weeks now, and they have become my new favorite running shoes! The comfort level of these shoes is superb! They fit my feet perfectly and provide a soft, comfortable foot bed. I love how light they feel, while still providing excellent support. The style is very nice and looks great with most everything I wear with them. Im so happy with these running shoes and their performance!

I never do reviews but these shoes are the most comfortable ones I have purchased to date. I am an extreme supinator and these are perfect

Best shoe I have ever bought new and new right away; these are amazing !!! Love how they feel walking (even 4.5 miles). I do have a different stride; can feel different muscles in my legs being used. That is a good thing. The top of the shoe is caving in at the toe (divet like) ; the transcends did too... maybe a bigger size is needed? I had good stability and control with these as well. Fit is standard with normal size I wear of 11.5 (could be a smidge smaller and has some extra room in the width). Over all; these are good.

The Ghost Max 2 definitely give you maximum comfort! The minute you put on the shoe you feel a bounce in your step, and feel energized. The shoe is sturdy but not rigid. You have a wide range of motion while wearing them. In my experience with Brooks shoes, I always go up a half size. I would recommend doing that in the Ghost Max 2 as well. The design of the shoe is made for someone looking for a comfortable walking or all day shoe. It would also be a great shoe for a short distance run. Unfortunately, I would not recommend it for speed running workouts, or long distance running. The design of the shoe makes it a little heavier than one would want for those workouts. The fabric of the shoe was breathable, flexible, and high quality. Brooks always uses the best products and they continued that trend on the Ghost Max 2. My favorite feature of the Ghost Max 2 was how comfortable it was. My feet felt great after wearing them all day, and after short distance runs. The only thing I would change is trying to make them lighter so runners could have both comfort and a light weight shoe. Overall, The Ghost Max 2 is a high quality shoe that functions the way it is supposed too. Brooks has once again created something great!

The Ghost Max 2 might be the most comfortable pair of running shoes Ive ever put on my feet. I am a true size 7 foot, so I had to size up to a 7.5 in these shoes. They feel so lightweight on your feet and the toe box is super spacious. The extra cushion makes it such a great road running shoe. The fabric is super breathable and my feet stay cool even in the heat and humidity where I run. I normally run 3 miles a couple times a week and these shoes didnt even need a break in period. They feel great on a run or a walk and I never get hot spots or places that rub my feet. They are truly like running on a cloud! Get these shoes you will not regret it!!

I have mixed feelings on the fit and feel of these shoes. The feel is incredible, these shoes are so incredibly cushy and soft. It is like walking on a cloud. My mixed feelings are that while I can power walk in these for miles, the shoes are really short on the ankle. There is little to no ankle support at all. This has made it impossible for me to wear them for a run because I like support in the ankle. For someone who doesnt- these would be a great choice. I do which that they had continued the fabric down lower because esthetically they look like platform shoes from the 90s. Definitely not the cutest look but for the comfort they provide when you need to be on your feet all day- the looks of them I could get over.

The new Ghost Max 2 shoes have a very puffy long tongue on the shoe and it hurt both of my ankles to the point that I had to return them.

I ordered two pairs of the Ghost Max 2 as I was so excited for the new version. Let me start of by saying I absolutely LOVE Ghost Max 1 tennis shoes. I have so many pairs of them but I am NOT loving the new version. I am going to have to return the pair I ordered a 6 1/2 wide in as they are just too snug. I am going to have to try the pair I ordered the 7 in and see how they compare. I really need wide but the color I bought the size 7 in does not come in wide. Also, the support and cloud like feeling you get in the first version is nothing like the new version. The Ghost Max 2 fits smaller, snugger, and the overall feeling is no where as comfortable as the Ghost Max 1. I really wanted to buy another pair of the Ghost Max 1 but noticed they are marked down and I can't get my Ambassador discount so the old version actually is more expensive for me than the new version. Like I said Ghost Max 1 is so much better in my opinion. Will be returning at least one pair if not both. Sorry, but I hope the feedback helps.

Love that Brooks is now carrying womens size 11.5! I am trying to work with this shoe. I have very sensitive feet:( Its not as comfortable as the original Ghost Max, feels firmer and the underfoot feels bumpy and annoying under my foot. Brooks runs small for me, some brands I can wear an 11, but in Brooks I definitely need an 11.5 I tried a mens 10 in the original but I have a narrow heal so the heel slipped. The Glycerin 21 is the most comfortable shoe I own, fits me perfectly but the 10mm drop starts to hurt my forefoot if I wear it for too long. I was pretty excited when I saw there will be a Glycerin Max, but sadly it looks like its got a really high stack:( Too much for me. Im hoping the Ghost Max 2 will break in and soften up.

This is my first pair of Ghost Max. Im a regular ghost person normally, but was encouraged to try them for work. I work in a hospital and am on my feet most of the day. Lets just say they were great! Even wore them for my daily walk ( sorry not a runner) and was impressed. I seemed to bounce forward and my walking pace was increased. I did return them for a half size bigger. My normal size seemed a little short. The bigger size was just right. I recommend for those on their feet all day and for the non-runner.

Upon first sight, the Ghost Max 2 shoes looked sleek but also intriguing with the lifted heel. As soon as I put the shoes on, I immediately knew they were something special. The cloud like support is unlike any other shoe support Ive experienced before. Upon my first wear, I never felt as if the shoes needed to be broken in, as they were comfortable the entire duration of wear and felt like my new go to shoe.

It just wasnt my shoe. I run 20-30 miles a week and have had foot issues so that maybe the problem. After running about a half a mile I felt my medial ankle and knee starting to hurt and I shut it down. Cushion was great with walking. Sent them back

At first, I wasnt sure what I thought about the thickness of the soles but as I wore them more and more I started to love them. Theyre really comfy, bouncy and by the end of wearing them I have no knee pain from running or being on my feet all day. I like the design, theyre not boring but also not super loud with the colors. I can wear these with almost anything I have. The fabric seems like itll hold up well and is durable. I have been able to wipe off mud/dirt easily so far. Overall, I like how bouncy they feel. Theyre true to size, I just feel like I had to wear them a few times to wear them in width wise.

The Ghost Max 2 running shoes by Brooks are beautifully designed and lightweight. I love the way they look on. They arent chunky but have loads of cushioning and support. I can go an an extended run without any discomfort at all. I have been wearing them daily on my morning walks. The fabric lets my feet breathe, especially in this extremely hot and humid weather. I suggest to go up a half size. These running shoes are a bit on the snug size. Overall they are super cute and comfortable and will now be my go to!

Ghost Max 2 is my first experience with the Brooks brand of athletic shoes. I am very particular when it comes to walking/running shoes and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved these shoes. From a design perspective, I thought the color scheme makes them extremely versatile and will not show wear and tear as easily as lighter colors. I love that the laces are stretchy and don't come untied easily. The arch support was firm but comfortable and I have ample room in the toe box which is especially important to me to prevent calluses. Another aspect I loved was the oversized tongue - it covers more of the top of my heel area and the length ensures it doesn't shift or get lost inside the shoe during activity. Last but not least, the slight curve to the bottom of the shoe encouraged natural and smooth motion. The ridges on the soles enhanced traction whether I was exercising on a treadmill or outdoors.

The Ghost Max 2 sneakers are very comfortable and give a lot of arch support especially for extended periods of time. I work 12.5 hour shifts - three nights a week - and I have worn these sneakers every shift since getting them a few weeks ago. My feet never ache by the morning and I walk about 7,000 steps in one shift. Aesthetically, I dont care for the platform. While I realize its designed for extra cushion, it looks a bit aged. The fabric, however, is great - very breathable, easy to wipe clean, and looks sleek. Overall, I would recommend these shoes for anyone who is looking for comfortable and dependable footwear.

I love this shoe. For background, I was a very active young woman - I ran 5 kilometers per day and kept a swimsuit, sunscreen, bug spray, active wear, and my favorite running shoes in my trunk in case of an impromptu trip to the beach or I stumbled upon a new spot perfect for a run or hike. Investing in a good pair of shoes to take care of my running feet was always priority for me. I suddenly fell ill with a number of autoimmune illnesses at once, and I then had to prioritize a good pair of shoes to be the pair that would cause the least amount of distress in my need to walk to the car every day and would make me suffer the least amount of pain at work. I stayed as active as possible whenever I could, and a bit more than a decade later, my rheumatologist granted me his blessing to begin running again. It's been so amazing to be back at it, even at an additional 150 lbs of weight (which means I need a REALLY good shoe to support all of me). I've found a number of shoes along the way since then, and The Ghost Max 2 is the best shoe I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. I had previously tried it's predecessor, thinking there's no way I could find a better option. Enter the Ghost Max 2. I live with significant pain daily and just putting my foot in the shoe gave some relief. The fit is true to size and the stability in the sole was just as I'd hoped - solid. The stability is not only perfect, but it allows for movement in any direction - something I've found to be a challenging find in the past. The materials are so responsive and resilient that I am able to switch directions on a dime, and though I bought these for running, I use them for my squats, lunges, and more or just for chasing my teen and toddler through all manner of wild and wacky yard games they come up with. I have worn them just about everywhere for over two weeks and have yet to see any noticeable wear. I love the aesthetic of this shoe and feel comfortable wearing it anywhere. It looks sporty enough to get excited for the run and yet relaxed and casual enough to not look wildly out of place at my friend's outdoor birthday party. Not to mention, my stamina to be on my feet is immensely extended by these supportive kicks and the breathable fabric keeps my feet from getting too warm, making these all that more comfortable. They also clean up pretty well if you get a wet cloth to them quickly. These shoes are a tremendous support in my journey, bringing me closer every single day to my once very active lifestyle - and for that, they are priceless to me. I honestly can't think of a way this shoe can be improved, but I've said those words before and Brooks found a way to do so with the Ghost Max 2.

Shoe runs small. Ive always worn an 8.5, but had to size up to 9 in these shoes. I even tried a different color to be sure. I like that the rocker isnt as aggressive. I dont like it for runs. It just doesnt do much for me in that way, but I like it for walking and day to day things.
