i bought these shoes a few months ago for work since im a doctor and work 24h shifts. i did a lot of research before deciding on a shoe cause i have a narrow foot and i wanted to make sure it fit me well. so, these are amazing so far, im a size 8 and i think they run a little larger but because theres so much cushion it doesnt really bother me at all. the only downside i could say is that on wet floors theyre kinda slippery but besides from that im very happy with them !!

Excellent padding. Adjusting to the different stability than my other shoes. No complaints.

I like my ghost max 2 running shoes . When I was told about these its the best for me. Glad I was told about the shoe .

Ghost max 2 are very cushiony. I love that due to working on concrete for 8+hours and walking for most of them. The only thing I have bad to say is that after 5 years of wearing Brooks shoes, this is the 1st that runs a bit smaller in size. You may want to order up a half size or even a whole size.

Absolutely love Brookes shoes and went out of my way to get this specific color because I am obsessed! They are so comfortable with the extra cushion and I absolutely love them. Great for street runners with high arched feet. I recommend going a half size larger than you normally would as they run a light small, especially around the toes. I normally am a 8.5 but had to purchase a 9 so there was enough room in the toe bank. Only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because the extra cushion at the bottom makes these shoes a little bit heavier than a normal pair so I find myself needing to lift my legs up a bit more than normal otherwise I'm dragging my feet. Great workout, but kind of annoying.

I have had many, many Ghosts before, love them, and decided to try the Ghost Max for more cushion/support I was a bit worried when I first wore them as I had some random toe pain pop up that I have never had before. It took a few walks to break them in and now there are no issues. I was very close to returning them and exchanging for the OG Ghosts, but they maybe needed more time to break in? They are definitely more cushy than the Ghost, and do notice the "rocker" motion from the soles. I really like my pair now. Not sure if I'll get them again due to what happened at first, but will enjoy this pair now that they are broken in.

I have been buying brooks for many years.I tried this ghost max to the newer version.I don't find it as comfortable as the ghost max, there's not much support in the heel, nor in the toe, okay, good morning

Great shoe, love the cushioning and the rocker helps me not keep my knees locked which is a plus. Just wish it had a biiiitttt more ankle support but other than that satisfied overall.

ordered the Ghost Max 1 last year and l loved them, except they were torn up within the year (pictures attached). I ordered the Ghost Max 2 because I needed a new pair and while I did love them, I'd hoped the bottom of the shoe had changed texture because that's what it looked like in the pic. I guess I should have read into the material but whatever. They came and were exactly the same which was great since I loved the way they felt and looked, but became worried that they'd tear up again as quickly as the last pair. I just can't be paying this price for she's every single year that don't hold up. For context, I don't run, but I power walk on the road. I occasionally wear them on the treadmill and I wear them as my everyday shoe often. Very disappointed that I had to order a new pair so soon, but still 4 stars because of Brooks as a brand and that I had toe surgery a few years ago and they were highly recommended by my podiatrist and for good reason.

Helped my knee pain/shin splints. I don't have a wide foot but shoe was a bit narrow and small.

I really like these runners. The offer lots of support for my whole foot. Although I will definitely consider purchasing them again, the shoe itself is overly clunky. I actually took a tumble the second time I went out for a run when my two feet knocked together. My usual cadence did not account for the large outer sole.

I have bunions, moderate over pronation and low arches. I have tried many shoes from other manufacturers. The Ghost Max 2 is fantastic for the bunions and low arches. I use an orthotic insert for the pronation. It is the only shoe that has given me bunion relief. I would like to see the shoe become lighter and the top be a softer mesh. Sometimes I alternate with the adrenaline gts but it is not as easy on the bunions. Overall this is a very good shoe for my needs.

Comfortable but a little firmer than I was expecting, I prefer the glycerin for cushion. These offer great supports to work in all day and my feet do not fatigue. I wish they didn't look as bulky as they do and there were some more color options. I will keep these, but go back to the glycerin for my next pair.

I love the color Ebony sweet lavender alloy. I bought a pair that fits great if I'm not walking in them. At the same time I bought the same size in Coconut milk grey zephyr. The fit is entirely different! The Ebony sweet lavender alloy is shorter and narrower and hurts when I walk in them. The Coconut Milk Grey Zephyr fits perfectly and is a great walking shoe. It doesn't make sense that the same sho, in the same style, in the same size, but a different color would fit so differently.

The Ghost Max 2 is a great shoe, lots of cushioning and support in the right places for me. I have been a loyal Brooks Ghost wearer since 2013 and purchased the Max 1 last year. As I age , I need more cushioning for feet and knees, feel that the Ghost Max delivers. My only gripe is the colorsI would love to see some vibrant colors as well as colored solesthe areas where I exercise are not compatible with white soles, lol. Colored soles and nonpastel shoe bodies are easier to clean.

Once I became used to the slightly different gait of the added cushioning, it is quite comfortable.
