Purchased 8.5 and wear an 8.5 and they were perfect fit! They feel so comfortable not only walking but wearing them all day for errands.

These shoes feel great. The wider toe box allows my foot better mobility and for push-off with my big toe.

The Ghost Max 2 has a more comfortable ride than its predecessor. Now, Im excited to go out for runs and train for my upcoming 1/2 marathon. After purchasing my first pair and going for a run, I immediately ordered a backup pair. Thanks for continuing to improve, Brooks!

True to size, very comfy with plenty of support. The sole is a bit thicker so it might take a while to get used to the rocker feeling.

Not a good shoe, can be more comfortable

Never tried Brooks shoes before but I needed a 2nd pair for my morning walk/run of 3 miles. I had to adjust to the height but now they are very comfortable. Just enough bounce and support. My knees and legs feel great afterwards and I love your color choices. I usually wear a 10 in running shoes and that's what I ordered and they fit gret

Some of the most comfortable shoes I've owned. Previously, I was a solid buyer of the regular ghosts, but I thought maybe something more padded for all the walking and standing I do would be better. Will be purchasing the Ghost Max again

I love the cushioning of the Ghost Max. My only negative is that my calves get an extra work out the first few weeks while I break them in.

Lots of cushion if that's what you're looking for. A very solid shoe that is what it says it is. I have found that the fit is a bit tight, but I'm waiting to see if that improves as I break them in more and some of the cushioning inside the shoe flattens out. I'm not used to the extra cushioning and it's made the first few runs in them painful as i figure out how to run in them, but that seems to be improving. So far I am happy with them.

The shoe is definitely cushiony and comfortable but I am an older walker and the sole seems a little too thick and catches the pavement and causes tripping. May take some getting used to

I should of ordered a half size bigger but that wasn't an option. I love the cushion feel of taking steps. Better arches would be a plus.

I bought these to wear at work. I have a nagging foot pain in other shoes. Cushioning was difficult to get used to at first. Seems like after wearing for a couple of weeks the cushion is less, might have compressed a bit. I did wear these to run once 5k. Provided great cushion. I prefer the "regular" Ghost for running still, maybe I'll change my mind if I decide to run in these more, but for now, I'm going to continue to use them for work/walking around/everyday use.

The shoe is a little heavy for Florida summer weather. Used to lighter mesh shoes, but I have a fused ankle that needs lots of support and these sneakers do the trick. Can do my usual 4-5 miles without any soreness afterward. A big plus!

Very comfortable. I run in them 5 days a week on road. Each run is 6 plus miles. I would say they max out at about 460 miles or so for running purpose. They stay in great condition and shape though so they are still great for wearing on walks or just out for errands. I have went through 2 pairs already and just bought my 3rd pair

Dont love them as much as the OG max - I wanted to but they arent as comfy

So comfy. Im a nurse and use these for my 12 hour shifts where Im standing all day and they are the best. I tried other brands but they were so hard, these are like clouds. Size up by half!

Really enjoy the shoe, its feet and help with pronation.

I have loved Ghost's for years now and I recently bought Ghost Max 2 for my job at a surgery center. I walk about 4 miles a day at work and these feel like clouds! I bought this 2nd pair for my daily walks with my dog around the neighborhood. I attempted to run in them when it started to rain and it was a bit slippery. Not as much grip on the bottom like a typical ghost sneaker. But otherwise, they are awesome.

I usually buy the Ghost line in wide, as much as I wanted to like these, I found the Max line to be over padded to the point where I wasnt able to move my toes freely even though I ordered it in wide. The shoe does feel nice and comfy maybe Ill try it again in extra wide.

Excellent support and cushion

I walk. Don't run. Nice shoe. Had to get used to this type of shoe but I do like the support and cushioned feel. Miss the Glycerin 21 which was the best shoe I have ever worn.
