Great lightweight, comfortable, up-tempo running shoe. Great update to the Hyperion Tempo - lighter, more cushioning, slightly more room in the toe box. I like them a lot. My go-to for intervals, speed training, tempo runs, races up to 10k. Would be fine for the Half marathon, but I prefer my Adizero Pro 3s for longer races.
I'd also recommend:
Main shoes in my rotation are from Brooks, Saucony & Adidas.

I was so excited to try these shoes, but the base didn't seem wide enough which made the shoe feel unstable.

I am upset with Zappos. I ordered these for my son to be delivered to him at college. I first got a message that the order would be delayed ( no problem). Today I went to check on the order and there are 2 separate messages. One saying the order was damaged and being sent back and one saying my payment didn’t go through Amazon. My son is difficult to fit. I tried to get back on and reorder and now there is a message saying they no linger have the shoe in his size. I am frustrated and wish I would have received more specific communication saying what the problem is. I have been a zappos customer for many years, but it seems like the service and selection have waned through the years. I might be done.

Reluctantly switched shoe brands after more than 20 years running in Nike. My favorite shoe was the Nike streakfly, before that, it was Nike free's. When Nike changed up the streakfly and added a carbon fiber plate, it was time to find a new shoe. But nothing in Nikes lineup compared to them. I need something flexible and lightweight. Without all the marshmallow cushion and carbon fiber plates adding stiffness. Something with relatively low heel-toe drop. These shoes are dying out. I decided to give these a try. It was between these and Saucony Kinvara 15. The only reason I didn't go with the Saucony, is because they don't offer a trial period on running shoes. And I'm glad they don't now, because I am more than pleased with how these felt. They have a bit higher drop than I'm used to. I normally go for under 7mm. But honestly, I didn't even notice it. These were on the upper end of weight that I normally go for also, but felt very lightweight on my feet. I was concerned about flexibility, but that also surpassed my expectations. I did an easy 5 mile run and my legs felt strong and lively. I could have kept going. I have always gotten "hot spots" on my toes when breaking in a new pair of Nikes that would require mole skin wrap for a while, but no hotspots spots at all with these! The toebox has ample room to let your toes spread. My new go-to shoes!

Great fit right out of the box! They seem more stable then my Ghost 15's. Though they are great too! The new tongue is very thought out. Very nice! The laces are like parachute cable and hold great. A VERY well thought out shoe! My new shoes for this year's Bloomsday race. #Bloomsday

Perfect shoes for daily running. They are perfect for marathon training. I used them for both my workouts (intervals, fartleks) and also for my long run. I love them!

Absolutely amazing shoe that feels like a race shoe did three years ago. Highly recommend for both training and 5k/10k races.

My running is usually a few times/week just doing 1-2 miles, and this shoe is perfect for that. It's light, and it isn't overly built up with cushion.

I like how non-prescriptive this shoe is. I mean, I can run in these shoes relatively easy and it's very smooth, light, and trouble-free ride. But the moment I decide to pick up the pace, these shoes just allow me to reach something like 6:30 min/mi efficiently and without any issues. I'm a heavier runner: 6 ft tall, and around 180 lbs BTW. These shoes feel relatively close to the ground while providing excellent cushioning and impact mitigation. I prefer the cushioning here on the Hyperion 2 to the one from Glycerin 21 - which I find surprising - but hey these just work for me (and Glycerin is awesome too)!

Big fan! From the upper to the overall fit to the energy return, I am a high frequency low mileage runner (3-5 miles per run) runner and this is my new do all daily trainer and speed workout shoe. Hoping to get some good mileage / months out of it!

got these for threshold sessions and track workouts. I have about 50 miles on them so far and they have been absolutely amazing. They are extremely light but they still feel cushioned enough to do longer workouts if you need them to. I would say my favorite thing overall Is the upper it fits perfectly around your foot making you feel like you're attached to the shoe. The lacing system is also superb, it reminds me of the kind of laces they put in racing shoes and spikes

6'2" tall. 183 lbs. 68 years old. Perfect shoe for 90ish second 400 repeats. "Super" shoes cause calf strains but the Hyperion 2 is perfect. No calf problems
