I prefer the previous Ariel versions that had a cushy sole. The current sole is too stiff.

I liked the Ariel GTS 20 much better. The padding was better and I felt like the overall support was better. I had 4 pair of the Ariel GTS 20's, but I will not buy the Ariel GTS 24's again.

My second pair, in a second color. Ariel is the perfect stabilizer for my feet and knees. Oddly, this pair came with very short laces.

I have flat feet , plantar fasciitis with Achilles tendonitis. I recently ordered the Ariel GTS 24 and they are amazing. They have great all round support, including the heel. The toe box is roomy for my wide feet. I don't need to wear shoe inserts (for support) with these shoes.

Comfortable shoes but the shoes are blue, not black as advertised. I wanted black.

Overall, I love this shoe! Walking in them feels like you're walking on a soft cloud ,while also having solid support. The fit is perfect and there is good stability. Being a person with significant arthritis in one knee, I had hoped for even more support. I would love for Brooks to make these in more vibrant colors!

The wide width just wasn't wide enough for my feet. I can wear the Brooks wide width in the Ghost, this toe box was decidely more narrow.

I love these shoes as they give extra ankle support (had too many sprained ankles in my life). My biggest pet peeve is that these do not come in more colors as I would love to see some hip colors for the Ariel brand. Tell the design team to make more colors, and I will buy more pairs. I usually buy new shoes every 6 months, so it is worth it.

I am not a runner, and bought these for more regular daily use. I purchased these from my local sporting goods store. I feel they run small. I did have to go up a full size from my normal shoe size. I've only worn them a few times but they seem comfortable and very supportive. The color is more navy than black. I didn't really notice this until I wore them out in the sun, inside they look like a soft black. Overall, they seem like a decent shoe so far.

Ariel GTS 24 gives me very good support. I wear orthodics, need good support. and wear size 13 medium. I highly recommend Ariel GTS 24. Before Ariel GTS 24, I wore Brooks Ladies Addiction Walkers size 12B for many, many years. I learned last year that one of my feet changed from 12 to 12.5. Thus, I now need size 13. Brooks, please make the ladies Addiction Walker in size 13B. I implore you please.

I have been wearing this style the last few years, and this one is not as comfortable-- feels like not as cushioned my old ones once were.

Love everything about these shoes, except the toe boxit needs to be wider. Great arch support and comfort otherwise. I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis and my feet feel better in these than any of my other shoes. I don't have wide feet (closer to normal/narrow actually) but I think I'll buy another pair in wide to see if the fit is better.

Great support, but the upper is too wide! Needs to be available in narrow! I had to return because of the wide width. Wish it had the same support but with the Adrenaline upper. Love the black & white, (wish Addiction had that color option).

So far I love this shoe! For the first time, even after "professional" fittings, I have been recommended the right shoe. I usually suffer from extreme shin pain, my feet roll to the anterior sides. These shoes have provided relief and I am able to walk long distances pain free. I have not yet tried running in them. I hope they continue to be my shoe! I have had the Ghost, Adrenaline, and Glycerine. Never have I used a wide Brooks shoe. The only reason I give them a 4 is because the black/ ebony are purple, definitely not black. Thanks to the Shoe Shack in Dubuque for the help!

I have neuropathy and like that the Ariel GTS24 feels supportive without being overly restrictive like the Adrenaline GTS24. I'm able to wear my orthotics and it doesn't hurt my metatarsals. That being said, I took away a star due to the lack of colors. The beige color looks like ugly ortho shoes. I need the 12 mm depth and I don't have much choice since Brooks changed the Glycerin and I haven't been able to wear them since the Glycerin 20s of which I fortunately have a few pairs left. These were my perfect shoe and so comfortable. They had amazing color options too. I would like white in the Ariel and perhaps pink. It's not the Glycerin 20 but will have to suffice until something better comes along. There is enough room in the toe box and it fits true to size. It's firm without being too hard.

I have worn the Ariel style for years. Very supportive and comfortable. My only complaint is that for years the color choices have been too conservative, even ugly! I know others have also made this comment. How about giving us some pretty or sporty color choices as you have done for the other styles! We pay a premium for this shoe, but yet color choices are pretty basic or ugly looking compared to your other styles. Not fun to wear! I would buy more to match various outfits instead of one pair each season if there were more color choices. It is never fun to pick out a new pair when the colors are a basic black or grey most times. People never really notice or compliment me about them---I think you would sell more it they were more attractive. Comfort and support are important, but they should be fun to wear!

I have feet problems and the only shoes I wear are Brooks Ariel. The support is great. I purchased the Ariel GTS 24 in ebony/black. These are NOT BLACK. I wear black pants to work everyday. If I wear long blk pants the shoes look navy. If I wear blk capris the shoes look purple. I"m disappointed in the color I want black shoes. The shoe also looks cheaply made. The rubber piece on heel looks like glued on and the white sole looks and feels cheaper than my older shoes. I have a pair of ariel 20 and 23 sitting here and the quality just looks better than the 24. The shoe doesn't feel like as much cushion as previous ariels.

I like the shoes; they feel secure and cushioned for these old feet, and the laces are just the right length, not too long. I probably shouldn't have chosen the light color, but it was the only color offered aside from black.
