Ive tried the ON brand shoe and I thought that was great. But it wasnt wide enough nor as comfortable as these. Also, Ive tried Hoka and wasnt thrilled with the top of the shoes very weak in structure. This shoe has both. its very comfortable and its got a good top portion that keeps your foot secure and keeps it from sliding around. Excellent shoe Im very thrilled with it.

Super stability and cushioning, accommodates over the counter Sole orthotics to provide even more arch support and pronation control, extremely comfortable, so far have used only for walking while a sore Achilles is healing, the reason I bought these shoes. I've worn Brooks for many years for their comfort and stability for my narrow feet/ high insteps and these shoes are super.

i'm 76 yrs old and have been doing the Disney World Marathon Week for a few years now. i've needed a more stable shoe for the longer distances and found these Brooks to be among the best i've used. i didn't run much but the 16 min/mile requirement over long distances and with the balloon ladies coming kept me going good.

The guide rails make it seem like Im standing on golf balls. I have flat feet.

After a week of breaking in, the shoes feel great! This is my 4th pair of Brooks Beast, which I wear daily for walking (averaging nearly 13K steps/day). They last about 12 months, with sole wear mainly on the outside edge, especially on the right shoe. Recommended by my PT, they provide excellent knee stability and accommodate wide feet.

The Beast is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn! It's all I wear. I was having pain in my arch. Starting to wear the Beast, the pain resolved.

Though they are VERY hard to come by, they arent bad. I wear size 14 Extra extra wide. They are NOT as roomy in the toe box as the Beast 20 series was. I have bunions and need a roomy toe box. I dont understand why these shoes are so hard to find. Ive tried Fleet Feet and other stores that sell Brooks and they cant get them either. I keep browsing the internet hoping a pair will pop up somewhere. Oh, these are Black, not my color choice. Good thing its winter, summer time theyd be too hot.

Good support feels a little heavy.

I've been wearing "Beast" running shoes for walking for years. My current pair is at least my fifth pair. I love the all black ones because they are suitable for all occasions. They are also great because my orthotics fit well in them. The one negative is that in the last two pairs the front part of the sole wore out extremely fast. In the past the sole outlasted the uppers. Thats a disappointment, and it makes me wonder if Brooks is purposely designing the shoe now so that it wears out a lot quicker.

The beast is fantastic. I have owned several pairs over 10 years or so. I dont know why I ever shop for anything else. This last pair with my orthotics fit better than any pair of shoes Ive ever worn. Beast for life.

Could not get used to motion control. Well made shoe but have to keep shopping for right shoe.

as a big guy (6'6, 240 lbs) it is hard to find a great walking sneaker. these are perfect!

I'm a non runner, who developed plantar fasciitis five years ago. This shoe was recommended by a foot doctor, and was instrumental in my recovery and healing. It's now one of only three brands which I feel safe to wear. Comfortable, great support and stylish.

Shoe is comfortable with excellent support for a person with foot and ankle issues. I can not run but do use for walking moderate distances. I wish this product was available in more colors and designs.

Beast is the perfect shoe for arch support and stability. I've run in successive Beast models for the past 10 years and avoided injury. I've noticed the the 23 and 24 models seem to run a bit shorter that earlier versions. I had to send the 23's back but had an easy return thanks to Brooks Run Happy guarantee.

These are actually comfortable shoes. The low rating stems from the fact that I bought them to try as a new all day walking shoe (I stand all day at work). I have 4E wide feet and the shoe accommodated them nicely but my foot seemed to slide around and the balls of my feet started to hurt. The Addiction Walker 2 are still my go to ( on my third pair) for all day comfort.

Great shoe. Very stable and comfortable. The quality of the shoe also seems excellent.

I wear the Brooks beast for pickleball I have found it's a very comfortable well supportive shoe that doesn't wear out on the courts
