Brooks always seem to run narrow (which is great for me), but they feel true to size length-wise. Excellent arch support. A very lightweight shoe, which is appreciated by someone with hip arthritis. The style is modern and sleek.

The fit was okay as usual, however I was not happy with the styling on the Revel 7. There is a tape of fabric tape running down the middle of the laces that looks cheap. It was ugly enough to make me return them.

I had purchased the Revel 6 in size 12 and they fit perfectly. The Revel 7 is constructed different and feels small. Not enough room to comfortably continue to wear.

Wanted to like these but not only did the tread not feel sturdy enough on the bottom, the shoes didn't feel like they had enough support. A couple of times I felt like I was going to slip or skid across the ground.
I'd also recommend:

I loved the look of the shoe and it felt comfortable after wearing multiple times indoors for strength training/HIIT workouts but I was looking for something with a roomier toe box and a zero drop sole to help mimic bare feet but I still need the protection from rocks during my outdoor runs.

As a walker, Ive found the Revel 7 to be the perfect balance of support and midsole bounce. Its more stable for me than the Ghost or Glycerin. Its a great find!

I run a little over 2 miles a day on a treadmill and do weight conditioning. I have had Ghosts forever and decided to try Revels. I like the Revels better. Plenty of support for running and less bulkiness for the floor. This will be my new hotness.

I used to be a competitive mid distance runner but since retiring I currently do not race much anymore but run for health and enjoyment. These shoes have decent support but I would classify as a mid weight shoe. I have flat feet and pronate so did find the toe box in my right foot felt a little tight but some of that is my own foot mechanics. If you dont have any major foot mechanical issues these are a great lightweight training shoe. At the price point I would say these are a great running shoe for easy days. I really liked the tongue. It had extra cushioning so I never got that lace pinching/irritation that can sometimes happen if you lace your shoe too tight. Overall I liked this shoe. It felt good on my feet. I ran on gravel paths and paved roads and enjoyed the feel. I didnt run farther than 4-5 miles in them. For my foot mechanics I go with a sturdier shoe for long runs and these are great for lighter distance run days.

Ive had several different styles of brooks and never had an issue with any until I bought the Revel 7.. the sole has come loose and the shoestring cords have come loose on one shoe and all this happened within 3 months.

I work in a medical clinic, and the involvea me standing and walking several hours on a combination of low pile carpet squares and laminate over concrete. These provide nice cushion and support in a shoe that coordinates well with my dress code.

I have the Brooks Revel 7 sneakers. They are super comfortable, light weight and are a great shoe for running, walking or just running errands. I love the colors and sleek design they dont look like the typical Brooks I have had in the past. There is a really good amount of cushion and cant wait to wear to Disneyland and Walt Disney World. These shoes were super easy to break in and did not blister my heals which is amazing. The materials used on the shoes are almost like a mesh and it helps to keep the shoes light weight. I have already recommended them to a couple friends.

I'm sure all runners are particular when it comes to their running shoes. When I look for a new pair of shoes, I struggle with happy medium between too much cushion/lift and none at all. I think the Revel 7 shoes are my ideal cushion, which isn't a lot. They give me support but I can still "feel" the road. I've been trying to up my mileage lately, and these have given me the boost I need to log the miles. I really like the colors and fabric (purple is cool) even though I'm not supposed to pay attention to that as a runner. My only very small complaint is that the laces aren't quite long enough. I like to double knot my laces, and there isn't really enough length to do that.

The arch support is good. But the first week I had the shoes. The little white loop that the shoe strings loop through broke when tightening the shoe. I find the tiny little loop is not necessarily strong enough and quite a big design flaw.

Very comfortable. I walk a significant amount daily (city living) and also have mild arthritis in my feet. They shoes give just the right amount of support. Not too stiff, not too mushy.

Size & fit are right-on. I have several, different Brooks styles, been wearing them for 5+ years --these are the most comfortable of any! Highly recommend.

Very cute shoes! I love all Brooks athletic shoes. I just can't wear them anymore due to my narrow feet. Wish they made them in narrow like they used to.
I'd also recommend:
Naot, Naturalizer as they make narrow shoes

I take my walks in an area where there is mostly asphalt roads and some uneven pavement. These shoes support and protect my feet. This is the second pair in this style that I have purchased.
